    Plot Details
After everyone learned Bob from Hawaii Movie Tours got the JP3 script, they bombarded him with questions. Bob's (thankfully) not spilling all the beans, but did drop a few plot details:
    • The script is 111 pages, which indicates the film may be 111 minutes long (prior to any scene cutting)
    • While not giving away the ending, Bob says a certain event occurs which leaves things open for yet another JP film.
    • An "unexpected" character appears at the end of the movie.
    • The Brachiosaurs are back, "in at least one scene".
    • Confirming what we've heard in the past, our friend the Carnotaur makes an appearance.
    • Bob says this line by Paul will be one we won't forget: "Can't help but be a little offended". Your guess is as good as mine...
(Thanks JP Database, 'Oviraptor', and 'Savior') -- In related news, Bob sends word he posted the cover sheet to his script, where we can see all the people who worked on the screenplay.

    JP3 Script, Page 1
Ol' "Jurassic Spy" Bob from Hawaii Movie Tours comes through once again, posting page 1 of his newly-aquired JP3 Script. This is the real thing, with the real lines in the right order, so one could say that it is the ultimate spoiler -- this first page doesn't give away too much, however. Overall, Bob seems to like the script, saying it is "action packed from beginning to end.. it kept me engrossed," though there is one scene which reminded him of Kelly's gymnastic-routine from TLW. However, "this film is going to rock if Joe Johnston did a good job directing it," he said.

    First JP3 CD-ROM Game
Mike noticed EBWorld.com is now taking pre-orders for Knowledge Adventure's first of three "Edutainment" CD-ROM games based on the JP3 franchise. This one is called "Dino Defender", scheduled for released on June 21. Here's the description from the website:

"A raging typhoon has knocked down Jurassic Park's electric fences and dinosaurs are roaming wild and preying on one another. As a member of the Dino Defenders, an emergency task team, you are called to restore order and save the dinosaurs using specialized gear like tranquilizer balls, steel mesh trapping nets and a custom-made, all-titanium suit that protects you from hazards you'll encounter. Your mission: trap or tranquilize renegade dinosaurs to save the Jurassic Park.

    • Capture hordes of dinosaurs through six action-packed, eye-popping levels filled with underwater caverns, treacherous cliffs, rugged rainforests, unexplored caves and the dinosaur-infested InGen laboratory.
    • Put your bravery and skill to the test when you come face-to-face with chompin' Compys, terrifying Pteranodons, rampaging Rex's and many more realistic dinosaurs from the movie.
    • Build up your inventory of Tranquilizer Balls, "Distactor" Flash-point Flares and Steel-mesh Trapping Nets to complete your missions! Intense 3D worlds filled with secret treasures, hidden items and terrifying creatures. "

    High Quality Survivor Trailer
IGN Filmforce encoded a version of Thursday night's Survivor Trailer which is apparently better quality than all of the previous versions, according to Kevin. You can download that one here.

    Action Figures Spotted
'TYRANT' and 'Britt' were the first to send word that they spotted the Hasbro JP3 action figures at their local Toys 'R Us today, so if you're interested, head out to the mall and see if they've got them in. "I found the new Rex, Raptor, Spino, and Triceratops for $10.99," Britt says, who also sent along this comparison between the JP, TLW, and JP3 raptors.

    Shooting Script, Page 5
Bob wanted to let everyone know he's posted page 5 of his JP3 "one-liner" shooting script, up at his site. This one gives a hint at the scene with Laura Dern. (In case you've missed any of this shooting script, here is page 1, 2, 3, and 4.)

    Johnston Comments on Your Comments
The Director is Listening.. Joe Johnston dropped me a line this morning after seeing some of your comments regarding the Survivor teaser (see below to download).. Joe noticed a few comments regarding the different colors of hadrosaurs in the stampede, which he explains is two differnet sub-species: Corythosaurus and Parasaurolophus (Joe apparently knows his dinos). In addition, he commented on my personal favorite shot from the teaser (at right), which he says was not Spielbergs idea -- instead it's Johnstons homage to "Jaws", "one of the reasons I wanted to get into this business."

    JP.com Updated
We beat the system a bit with the trailer below, but JurassicPark.com has now been updated (8:10pm) with a slick new JP3 subsite -- where you can get to the theatrical trailer. The rest is still 'Coming soon'. (Thanks Mark)

    Full Trailer!

    Poster #3?
'allosaurus' sends along this nice shot of the new JP3 poster from his local theater -- obviously it looks very like the last one we saw, though with a more complete list of people at the bottom. Especially of interest is that Steven Spielberg's name is now credited as Executive Producer -- it was oddly missing from the previous version.

    Full Trailer Expected by 7pm
Have we all calmed down from yesterday's Survivor teaser? No? Well, I've received word that the folks at Universal are working on having the full trailer up on JurassicPark.com by 4pm PST (7pm Eastern). And don't forget Access Hollywood, they're expected to show it as well. But probably the best way to see it before The Mummy Returns in theaters.

    More on the Longer Trailer
More descriptions of the theatrical JP3 trailer are coming in from people attending sneaks of Mummy 2.. Dan J. reiterates what we've been hearing (and seeing, judging by the Survivor trailer, below) that the film seems substantially darker than the previous two. In addition, Dan adds that there's a "creepy shot of a raptor embryo in a tank, attached to these wires or something [and] a shot where the spino pushes the cage on the barge into a lake, with the cast reaching out as it slowly sinks down." In addition, the longer trailer shows a shot where the spinosaurus is "actually ROLLING OVER the plane with its arms, [with] the cast getting beat up inside." In related news, note that the full trailer will definitely be shown on Access Hollywood tomorrow, not ET (or if it is, they didn't promote it). The trailer is expected to be posted to the official website at some point tomorrow as well.

    Survivor Trailer
    Very, VERY cool.....

    Pics thanks to 'Juttson':
    I love this one..
In related news, I received word from a reliable source that this trailer we just saw is a little different than the one debuting before The Mummy in that it features the pteranodons, which aren't in tomorrow's version (see pic). According to the source, a new version of the trailer (with the pteranodons) will play before Pearl Harbor later this month.

    Another Look at The Trailer
A reader of Movieheadlines.net managed to get a sneak peek at the JP3 trailer before a screening of The Mummy: They don't add too much info, but say that "This film is definitely darker than the first two. Johnston seems to give his own style to the look and feel of the movie." In addition, they add, "they went out of their way to emphasize that there's a dinosaur bigger and badder than the T. Rex in this film (thought it is barely shown)." The trailer also featured music from the first JP.

    Shooting Script, Page 4
Bob from Hawaii Movie Tours sends word he has posted page 4 of his one-liner shooting script at his site (Watch out for spoilers!). Bob also wanted to ask what you want to know from the JP3 script he just bought from Ebay..
