    The Jungle Chapter 1
    By TyrannoRex112

    Universal Logo Appears...

Universal Studios and Amblin Entertainment Presents...

A medium sized boat sails through a raging sea. Waves collapsed on its deck. 8 men ran out on to the deck. Rain poured on them. “Where the hell are we?” One man asked. “Somewhere in the Atlantic!” The other man replied. Suddenly a huge wave fell on the deck of the ship. One of the men was swept into the ocean. The other men hung on to the rails of the ship. “Where is the captain?” Another man asked as he got up from the ground. “I haven’t seen him have you?” One man replied. Then the boat swerved to the right. The men fell to the ground. 2 men went overboard and into the ocean. Then the 6 men got up that were left and ran below deck. Lightning flashed, lighting up the room below deck. The men looked around but they couldn’t find the captain. Then 2 men ran to a chest and opened it. They pulled out two 12 gauge shotguns. “Are there anymore?” A man asked. “No.” replied the other man. Then the boat suddenly stopped rocking. It was still. The 6 men ran onto the deck. They were on a beach. The men scrambled off the boat. They all ran in eagerly in to the forest ahead of them. The 2 men with the guns went with each other into the forest. They walked carefully through the dense jungle. Thunder crackled. Then lightning flashed, lighting up the sky and the jungle. Then one of the men suddenly fell forward, his gun flew in front of him. “HELP ME!” He screamed. The other man ran towards him. “What’s wrong?” He asked. Before the other man could answer he was dragged into the jungle. “What the?” Then suddenly that man fell to the jungle ground as well. He screamed as he too was dragged into the jungle.

The 4 men that were left ran in the dark jungle. They had just heard the screams off the other men. They were unarmed and they all thought they would die soon as well. The men walked until they came to a small clearing in the jungle. The men all stood silently in the clearing. They all heard soft scratching sounds all around them. Then suddenly one man ran back into the jungle. “Wait!” One man yelled. Then suddenly that man was thrown to the ground. “AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!” He screamed. He was being dragged into the jungle. Then one man ran over to him and tried to pull him back. It was no use. He then looked around to see what was pulling the man. He then saw two strings of vines hanging on to the man’s ankles. But it was too late to do anything now. The man was dragged into the jungle. “Damn!” The man who had tried to save the other man yelled. He turned around to see that the other 2 men were gone. Blood trails lead into the jungle. “Oh shit.” He said. Then he heard a loud snarl come from the jungle. As soon as he heard that he ran. He ran into the jungle. He still heard the loud snarls behind him. Low hanging leaves slapped his face as he ran, which slowed him down. Then up ahead of him was a calm, small river. “I must make it to the river.” he thought to himself. When he was about 3 feet away from the river he jumped in. He swam as fast as he could to get to the other side. He then heard another splash behind him. Something was jumping in after him! He quickly pulled himself to the other side of the river and ran. He then heard more snarls behind him. He then ran faster. He then started to slow down. He was running out of energy. When he felt the strange creature’s breath on his back he knew it was over. Then he saw a large stick up ahead of him. Maybe he could use it to fight the creature. When he came by the stick he picked it up. He then turned around and whammed the creature in the head. The creature snarled and fell. The man didn’t care to see what had happened. He just ran. He ran until he finally came to a low hanging branch. A dense fog surrounded him. It was very cold as well. He leaned up against the branch to catch his breath. He looked around. But all he could see was fog. He stared straight ahead of himself. Then suddenly he heard a snarl. When he was about to turn around he disappeared into the treetops.

    Kenya, Africa.

A man walked around in a green grassy plain. Trees surrounded the plain. Huge green mountains were in the in the distance. The man carried a small suitcase in his right hand. He wore small glasses. He had brown hair. He was about 6’3” tall. After walking for quite some time the man came to a small cottage. He walked up to the wooden door and knocked. An African man opened the door. The African mans’ face light up. “Professor Mattoon! What a pleasure it is to see you! Well come in come in!” The Professor walked in. The inside of the cottage was nicely decorated. Elephant tusks were hung on a wall. “I see that you’ve been hunting again.” The Professor said as he laid his coat on a chair. “Oh I got those from a friend!” The African man insisted as he pointed at the tusks. “Oh I see.” The Professor said. The Professor laid the suitcase he was carrying on a table in the corner of the cottage. He then opened it. The Professor pulled out a piece of paper. “Last night there was a distress call. A boat off the coast of Africa called in. Soon after they called in the Coast Guard their radio went dead.” The Professor said. Then the African man came over and examined the paper. The paper read:

MAYDAY! MAYDAY! THIS IS THE DOCKER. UP AHEAD OF US IS WHAT I BELIEVE IS THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA! WHAT THE…HOLY…

“O Lord!” The African man yelled. “I’m quite interested in this case. I think there is something more to this.” The Professor said. “Like what?” The African man asked. “Did they find the bodies yet?” “No not yet.” The Professor replied. “Not yet.”

Lack of action I know but I’m getting this story started. It will be a lil while until something happens at the “Jungle”

And the other chapters will be longer…
