Jurassic Park Breakout IX Outside, Wait For Me There
    By Spino144

The raptors closed in, curving their way through dense, dark, and humid jungle. It was mid-day, but it might as well have been mid-night. There was no light. Only darkness. And the smell of a potential victim. The raptors were hungry. They needed to eat. They needed to feast. They scattered, but kept close. The cunning raptors passed a small opening, and made themselves through a tight squeeze of palm trees.

They weren’t too far from the beach. They could hear the waves crashing on the rocks. They knew that had company. And these recent guests didn’t come from birds...

A man with a unshaven face, and dropped jaw, looked around, spinning his flashlight around in a 360 degree angle. “Nothing. Good,” he said. Many people had been to Site B, but many hadn’t returned home. It was like they came to feed the dinosaurs..

I’ll make camp here. Here is good. Here is good. Even while thinking to himself, he couldn’t stop feeling nervous. Anxiety was bringing him down. What’s behind me? There is nothing behind me. Don’t look back, Bryan. There is nothing there, stupid!

YOU STUPID IDIOT! The raptors closed by, circling him. He had no were to go.

Suddenly, he dashed forward. He cleared a path and ran as fast as he could. But Bryan knew it was useless. He was fast, but the raptors were faster. And soon they would catch up, jump him, pin his stomach to the warm muddy ground, and claw his back and rip apart his spin. He could hear his bones breaking as he ran.

Bryan entered a clearing, and saw a man. He had a sword in his hand. “Who are you?” asked Bryan.

“That’s mine.” the strange man said.

Bryan zoned out for a second to comprehend about the situation. The raptors closed by, investigating the new stranger. But to them he could of easily just been a side dish to the
feast they were going to enjoy tonight.

The raptors were seconds away from an attack. Bryan was about to pass out from fear. The strange man took out a sword, and prepared for an epic battle.

One by one, the raptors fell to the hands to the stranger. Claws, tails, limbs scattered everywhere in a sea of blood and flesh. Bryan was close to leaving the sane world.

The stranger started to approach. Bryan asked, “I’ve taken some dinosaur DNA from the InGen Compound. I can sell them to Byson for a high price. I’ll share the profit with
    you.”

“The person you stole it from must not be very pleased.”

“Then let him fight for it then.”

The stranger kept coming closer, not saying a word.

“Here is the DNA!” said Bryan. “Its yours! C’mon take it!”

“I intend to.” said the stranger, and in a blink of an eye took out a short spear carved from a dinosaur bone and lunged it forward into Bryan’s guts.

With the last strength that Bryan had, he asked the stranger. “What’s your name?”

“Outside, wait for me there.” said the stranger.

From behind him, the jungle started to tremble. Birds flew. Small jungle animals ran for their lives. A tyrannosaurus was approaching. “This just, is not my day, now is it?”
