Tears Of War Chapter 1

Chapter 1
It's not everyday that you go through a tought day at work. Sometimes it takes a lot out of you. Ask Captain Dac and he'll tell you. Captain Zachery "Dac" Tayler was the Commander of the 5th brigade in World War 5. This little tale is his recounting of the events that could have shattered a nation, and a system thought powerful. Let me inform you of the status of this so called System.
In 2499, the government implemented a new set of states and countries due to the result of WW4. WW4 left a big blow out. we had finally gotten a way of clearing nuclier weapons contamination when the big set of bombs hit. The survivors were in a nuke shelter underground so we were safe. But the land was ruined. Anyway, the final result was that the world was ruined...at least the past was. As i mentioned, we had found a way to decontaminate so we did. We used filters that could neutralize the radiation. Sorry i can't really say more, its too technical for my tastes. Anyway all the information was lost in th blast anyway. It was luck that the systems didn't ruin themselves.
So now we have a totally new country. It's called THE UNITED STATES OF NEW AMERICA. Quite original isn't it? If your wondering, this is the United Globe reporting the very latest on World War 5 and the aftermath...

A man walked on a sidewalk in the main city of Squire. The city had a feeling of old with a touch of new. Through the years nothing had really changed, though it could be said a lot of things have changed. Considering this was a completely new world they were living in. The man was General Kyle "Junkee" Warner. Kyle was a knowing man that knew nothing of fear. He had fought a few battles before in his lifetime but he wasn't a man of war. He glanced at the crosswalk and wondered. He glanced at the tall buildings as an Airplane flew through the air above him. He smiled as it was a super carrier. The super Carriers were advanced versions of the normal jets of the 20th century. They had seating far surpassing anything of the past. The jet could reach into the atmosphere as high as the shuttle would. It was apparent that this jet was coming in as it still had a bit of atmospheric flames coming from it. He glanced at the buildings again to take them in. As tall as the Twin Tower were, the buildings were mostly offices. The light turned green and he walked through.
Kyle was on his way to an appointment. He was called in to meet the captain he was to work with. The captain would relay orders to him and a new recruit and they'd get on their way. Kyle walked into the office building he was to meet them at. in the lobby was a desk and a secretary.
" I'm here to see Captain Zackery Tayler," he said.
" Yes, Captain Dac is waiting in his office. 4th floor to your right," the secretary replied. Kyle nodded is head and walked to an elevator. As he stepped in, a soldier ran up to the elevator and got in. He pressed the same button as Kyle had. They stood sid by side. Kyle recognized him as Private Mike Banno. Michael Banno had been known for his enforcer skills. He was top marksman and top choice for this new mission. It was also apparent that this was the new recruit for the mission. They didn't talk much, but he knew that Mike admired him.
They got off the elevator and walked into Dac's office.
" You may sit," said Zackery "Dac" Tayler. " And call me Dac." Both Mike and Kyle nodded their heads and sat down.
" At 800 hours, a rogue team of Rocketeers thought it'd be funny to blast down a hawk-eye chopper outside of Encarta. We're to take out the main base which is stationed north of there. They're holding prisoners in a bunker and its up to a 4 man team to wipe them out. General Kyle Warner you'll be in charge of me, Private Mike Banno and Major Jeff Long. I just want you to know that i'm with you all the way in whatever action you think necessary," Dac said. Kyle nodded his head.
" Well I suggest we should be getting going then. it'll be a long trip and I assume you are all packed. I will set up a basic plan once we get to our destiation, not before. Lets get rolling," Kyle said. They all got up and walked out of the office. It was time for some action.
