The voice over in a trailer for JP3 said "New Adventures, New Island...." despite the fact the island in JP3 is not new -- we visited Sorna in TLW.

"Gods are fragile things, they may be killed by a wiff of science or a dose of common sense"- Chapman Cohen

Faultering slowly through the trees a man of about thirty panted and sweated. Blood dripped slowly from his face. Snowfall was falling from the sky in heavy sheets.

The man was Richard Bernhem. A rich doctor from Memphis, who through his brillence made a wonderful father and husband. But that didn't matter now.

He collapsed, plumeting into the snow. He breathed in deeply, for once he wouldn't take the the sweat sensation of breathing for granted. His eye's wandered, flickered and glossed over with a white film. He came back to realilty, tears now streaming down his face. And in all his pain and all his humiliation, he still kept a sign of deginity. No one was going to help him.

The relization that he was going to die crept into his mind. He then felt a small bit of power. He wouldn't let it kill him. No. He would do it himself. So with all the strength he could muster, he pushed himself out of the snow and began to run, staggering, yet a run none the less. He countinued his sprint until he got to a small bridge. Just across the street from where he stood. He looked back, just as an ominous breeze of snow blew in his direction.

He then lept from the safty of the forest and ran on the side of the road until he reached the bridge. Richard stopped when he got to the middle of the bridge.

He felt the metallic surface of the pedestrian rail, and slid his hand over the the thick resadue of ice frozen on.
Then as if God himself stood at the end of the bridge, Richard peered over the rail, hesitated, and jumped.

Richard's hopes of dying easy were short-lived. The sound of his corpse smacking against the ice covering the river echoed through the snow invested sky. Then like a crackle of thunder the ice split, and finially, like a soul set free, the splash of his body sinking into the river.
