Slayer - 5x13 - Scythe in the Stone

A Zoom in of Charger City at night. “SLAYER” appears in red text. Scenes of BEN, RIVER and PARA all armed with stakes, facing down some vampires.
BEN dives through a window and pulls out a crossbow with a flaming arrow on the end. He releases the trigger and hits a VAMPIRE which explodes into dust. [Starring Ben] BEN and RIVER fight back-to-back against hordes of vampires.
BRAD is thrown forward by an explosion.
PARA throws a blue glowing orb at a DEMON. She dances with BEN at a NIGHTCLUB. PARA and DAC face each other down. [Para girl] PARA glares in rage at BEN.
SHANE and MARTY begin to whisper a chant.
RIVER walks into his high school, greeted by SHANE and MARTY. RIVER punches DAC in the face, knocking him backwards. [Jedi A. Malcolm] VAMPIRES surround RIVER, he spins around with a sword, decapitating them all as they turn to dust.
RIVER dives at some UberVamps in rage.
TARA looks through her books of spells. TARA kisses MANDY on the lips. [JP3 Girl] TARA’S body splits in too DARK MAGIC and LIGHT MAGIC. Tara fires an electric blue beam at a DEMON.
BOB KLINE laughs uncontrollably.
RYAN is held at gunpoint. RYAN spars with BEN. [Dark Hunter] RYAN’S hands glow and they produce lightning. RYAN throws a DEMON onto a pike.
FALCON pulls JOEY up from the GROUND, as a HUGE SNAKE whips by. FALCON spin kicks at THE HOST and follows through with a punch [Labyrinth]
MANDY’S EYES turned BLACK as she produced FIRE FROM HER HANDS. MANDY runs in a GRAVEYARD, carrying a sword, slicing at VAMPIRES. [Mandee] MANDY and TARA hug.
THE HOST and BEN battle on top of a building, exchanging many punches. BOB KLINE and THE HOST morph into other people. [And The Host] THE HOST and MAJESTIC engage in a sword fight.
BEN and RIVER walk the streets of CHARGER CITY with their BLACK coats flapping in the wind as if they were capes. On the screen - [Series Created by Ben Smythe]
CHARGER CITY GRAVEYARD – NIGHT TIME
The scene was as if an apocalypse were nigh, all of the SCRAPPY GANG was fighting VAMPIRES and DEMONS.
RIVER fought a VERY LARGE demon. The DEMON had spikes growing off it’s back and SPIKES all over it’s body. RIVER was a little bloodied up from the fight.
RYAN, JOEY and MARTY faced off against VAMPIRES as TARA, MANDY, and SHANE were all fighting demons and using their magic powers.
FALCON and MICHELLE hung back.
[Special Guest Star The Host]
Falcon: You see anything?
Michelle: Just a battle.
Falcon: We’re supposed to be looking for The Host.
Michelle: Oh, not yet.
Falcon: No, you twit, we’re looking now.
Michelle: Oh.
FALCON spotted two figures watching the BATTLE atop of a CRYPT.
[Special Guest Star Bob as Mayor Bob Kline]
[Special Guest Star Kristine Sutherland as Joan Summers]
[Special Guest Star Pierce Bronson as Don Summers]
Falcon: Bingo.
PARA came from behind FALCON and MICHELLE.
Para: Find him?
Falcon: Yes.
The THREE of them wandered off towards the CRYPT.
JOEY rammed a stake through a VAMPIRE, turning it to dust.
RIVER flipped the SPIKE demon over him and flung him towards the LIZARD-DEMON that TARA was fighting.
TARA ducked down and the SPIKE and LIZARD DEMON exploded when they touched each other.

TOP OF HIGH CRYPT
Cloaked Figure: They’re getting too close…we’re loosing our troops.
Host: I shall stop them.
Cloaked Figure: I have a far better plan. I’ll merge what’s left into a super demon. Get the humans out of there.
THE HOST jumped down to the ground and landed behind RYAN, JOEY and MARTY. With one swing he threw the three boys out of the way.
TARA and MANDY ran over to the fallen.

SHANE looked at RIVER – they were all that remained.
SHANE approached THE HOST, and using his magic SHANE locked THE HOST in place. RIVER leapt into the air and started to ATTACK the HOST. RIVER’S attacks were improved this time with his newly found SLAYER-STRENGTH.
The HOST back handed RIVER and he went flying. The HOST threw a ball of ENERGY at SHANE sending him flying.
[Vader]
[Yvonne as Michelle]
SHANE landed with a thud, but muttered:
Shane: Where’d he get magic from?
The CLOAKED FIGURE waved his hands and the remaining VAMPIRES and DEMONS were merged together – forming a HUGE disgusting DEMON.
FALCON, MICHELLE and PARA started to climb up the CRYPT where the CLOAKED FIGURE WAS.
[Icebreaker as Ice]
[Beck-Why as Becky]
[Dan as Dan Finkelstein]
The DEMON turned and looked at the GROUP. RIVER leapt to his feet and grabbed a BATTLE AXE.
RIVER started swinging, but the blows were just cutting the DEMON open.
The DEMON flicked its fingers at RIVER and RIVER flew through a TREE, leaving him knocked unconscious.
The DEMON started charging towards the SCRAPPY GANG – until a HIGH PITCHED SCREAM came from the DEMON –
[And Tobycompy as Agent Compy]
When the DEMON turned around a FAMILIAR AXE was thrown into its BACK.
BEN jumped from a CRYPT TOP and charged at the DEMON as it was wailing in PAIN.
BEN jumped onto the BEAK of the DEMON and flipped backwards over the DEMON’S BODY, pulling his SCYTHE from its BACK.
BEN ran forward and SLICED its HEAD OFF.
The DEMON dusted like a HUGE VAMPIRE.
Ryan: Nice of you to come back and join us.
Cloaked Figure: You’re too late, Slayer. I have your girl…and if you don’t do what I say…
The CLOAKED FIGURE pulls his “hand” up, revealing a very sharp HOOK.
Cloaked Figure: I’ll gut her, spilling her intestines here and now.
Ben: Okay, okay. Just let her go.
Cloaked Figure: Drop your weapon.
BEN dropped the SCYTHE. He also dropped to his knees, placing his hands over his head.
Cloaked: Matt, bring that here.
Host: Yes sir.
[Episode written and directed by Ben Smythe]
THE HOST went to pick up the SCYTHE – but he became week. BEN picked up the SCYTHE.
Cloaked: I said drop it!!
Ben: I’m helping him.
BEN threw the SCYTHE to the HOST – as THE HOST caught it, he fell backwards.
Ben: He can’t carry that weapon…its essence makes him week.
PARA stomped on THE CLOAKED FIGURE’S foot and elbowed him in his stomach and reversed the HOLD on to him.
FALCON tore off the CLOAK – revealing MAYOR BOB KLINE.
He back handed PARA and leapt down to BEN.
Bob: You can’t stop me. You know that, right?
Ben: I will stop you. You know that, right?
They starred at each other. BOB raised his HOOKED HAND up and started to THRASH at BEN.
BEN back flipped, and while back flipping he kicked BOB in the chin sending him upside down. BEN picked up his SCYTHE and looked at BOB.
Ben: Without him, you’re nothing.
DEVIN SUMMERS leapt from a tree behind BOB – unheard.
DEVIN started to sneak up on BOB.
Bob: And without him…you’re nothing.
BOB swung his HOOK backwards connecting with DEVIN.
DEVIN looked in shock at BOB and then at BEN.
Ben: No!
BEN charged at BOB with his SCYTHE ready to attack. BEN’S SCYTHE and BOB’S HOOK clashed, releasing sparks.
DEVIN fell to the ground.
BEN spun around and kicked BOB in the stomach. BOB bent forward –
Bob: I’ll see you again, Slayer…
BOB vanished.
BEN fell to his knees and held his FATHER. DEVIN coughed.
DEVIN brought his hand up to BEN’S FACE. He tried to speak, but was very faint and raspy.
Devin: You found it…the scythe…you found it.
Ben: I did, but you’re going to be okay.
Devin: I’m dying…
Ben: No you’re not.
Devin: I’ve chased him all over and our battles ended here…but you will pick up for me son. Don’t make it personal.
BEN looked confused.
Devin: With that scythe, you have the power to reshape the world. Use it and its magical power wisely.
The SCRAPPY GANG watched on, mournfully. THE HOST had managed to sit up and just starred at the scene.
DEVIN wiped a tear off of BEN’S FACE.
Devin: No crying….the world is against you…no crying….I love you.
DEVIN’S eyes closed and his head snapped backwards…as he DIED.
BEN embraced his father and let out a scream.
BEN jumped up to his feet and grabbed the SCYTHE. He pulled it back at THE HOST. THE HOST cowered.
Host: Please…show me mercy.
Ben: [very cold] Why should I?
Host: I’ve sparred your life numerous times.
Ben: Try again.
BEN stomped his foot onto THE HOST’S KNEE, with a sickening crack.
PARA looked down onto BEN.
Host: I know what Bob’s plan is.
Ben: Why does it matter? I’ll be killing him shortly.
BEN smashed the OTHER KNEE. BEN brought the SCYTHE up and was ready to slice THE HOST in half!!
As he started brining the SCYTHE down, RIVER raised his hands up and blocked the SCYTHE from coming down…standing in between BEN and THE HOST.
Ben: Get out of here, River.
River: I knew that wasn’t really you…and I don’t think you’ve noticed it, but Majestic is dead.
Ben: Oh, and let me guess, you were the next Slayer?
River: How did you know?
Ben: I know all. Now get out of the way.
Host: I can help you defeat him.
RIVER and BEN looked at THE HOST.
Ben: Why would you want to help us?
Host: Killing your father was never in the deal…you have no idea how much that pained me.
Ben: Pained you? I’m so glad because he was your freaking father too, right?
Host: No. But I lost my father a similar way. I couldn’t stop him from doing it. That man was Bob Kline.
Ben: Why are you helping him?
Host: He would have killed me, but he saw my potential and he has me under some control spell.
River: Dac.
Host: What about stupid?
River: He had Dac in a control spell.
Host: When that Scythe is near me, it drains my power and releases me from him. I can feel it.
Ben: What’s in this scythe that makes you back down?
Host: I’m not too entirely sure of that myself.
Ben: Then perhaps you and I should talk.
Host: Are you sure?
Ben: What other choice do I have?
Host: What of your father?
Devin: Don’t worry about me.
DEVIN approached BEN and everyone else from a distance. He appeared as a SPIRIT, very Obi-Wan Kenobi like.
Devin: My son…you’re fighting a pirate. A ruthless and vicious pirate at that. Take what help you can, because he is plotting something that I can’t even begin to comprehend.
Ben: Father, I’m sorry.
Devin: Don’t be sorry. Everything happens for a purpose. My place is here…you will understand soon, I do know that much.
Ben: How do I stop this pirate?
Devin: He will be an unstoppable force, but the weapon you now wield will bring him to justice.
Ben: I’m still not entirely sure how this Scythe works.
Devin: It will be explained to you. All in due time, son.
DEVIN disappeared – as did his BODY from the EARTH.
Ben: It almost seemed too good to be true.
CHARGER CITY DOCKS
CAPTAIN BOB KLINE’S SHIP
The former MAYOR of CHARGER CITY has now turned his once troubled city of actual demons and monsters into a PIRATE FREE-FOR-ALL with DEMONS, VAMPIRES and other MONSTERS.
BOB’S CREW cheerfully danced around with MUSIC on deck.
BOB’S OFFICE
BOB sat at his desk, looking at MIKEYMIKE and WETWILLY
Bob: So?
Mikeymike: Well, we’ve managed to bring you what you need, but why are you doing a time warp?
Bob: To free us. The Slayer and his gang won’t be able to catch us and we can rewrite history.
Wetwilly: Is it worth it?
Bob: Arrr! Of course it’s worth it.
Wetwilly: Why did you go with the pirate theme?
Bob: Go get your hand cut off and get the option of a hook or a prosthetic.
Wetwilly: Good choice, I guess. It makes you more fearsome.
Bob: Ben has already had a run-in with Le Chuck. He has no idea what he’s about to go up against.
The THREE of them laughed evily.
Mikeymike: What about The Host?
Bob: Ben will never accept him. He hates him very much.
Mikeymike: Right on.
Bob: Turn loose the long boats, we’re going to shore – time to create chaos.
BEN’S HOUSE
RIVER came downstairs wearing loose fitting clothes and had two SWORDS attached to his belt.
Ben: River, why are you dressed like a pirate?
River: That’s the new enemy, isn’t it? I mean, a scythe just wouldn’t go with this outfit.
Ben: Okay.
A knock on the door.
BEN answered the DOOR and PARA stood there, wearing PIRATE-LIKE garb.
Ben: Para.
Para: I was told this would be most appropriate to wear.
Ben: You’re helping?
Para: Of course.
Ben: I’m still not too sure of this entire idea.
Para: Well, you’ve decided that you’re going to chase demon-pirates around Charger City Bay…
Ben: Yeah, it’s odd. Why did I feel that this day would come?
Para: I couldn’t tell you.
BEN pulled his SCYTHE up.
Ben: They won’t be able to take me and my scythe.
PARA kissed BEN.
Para: I love it when you get all serious. It means it’s ass kicking time.
BEN and PARA walked into the LIVING ROOM where THE HOST was showing spots on a MAP.
Host: He will then circle his ships and then head west – if he has the elements for the portal, he can open it for his ships and go back in time.
River: Why would he want to go back in time?
Host: To rewrite history.
River: How would he do that?
Host: Legends spoke of a Slayer that killed a man who she thought was a vampire here in Charger City, back in the golden days of Piracy.
River: So? We’ve met her.
Host: Right, anyway, he wants to take her out before he takes out this man – because she is the reason the Slayer line continued.
Ben: But I thought with one death, the next slayer was called. That’s how it worked between me and Majestic.
Host: You died?
Ben: Just for a few minutes, but I’m fine now.
Host: Oh.
Ben: Then Majestic was killed…and then River was activated.
MICHELLE and FALCON walked forward.
Michelle: We can’t go.
Ben: Why?
Michelle: Pirate ships, direct sunlight, swords flying all over the place. It just reeks of dust.
Ben: Then you’ll stay in the hold until night. Something tells me Bob is about to go all Pirates of the Caribbean on us.
Falcon: You mean he has the amulet?
Ben: What amulet?
Falcon: Back when I can remember, there was a crew of pirates that carried an amulet, and the captain wore it. The crew infused part of the captain’s blood inside them, killing the captain but bringing him back from the dead as well. With his dead blood flowing in them, the pirates became the Un-Dead.
EVERYONE starred at Falcon.
Falcon: Well if you must know I drank the blood, but I was hungry! It did nothing to me.
Shane: Eww.
Falcon: Vampire?
Ben: Okay, everyone gear up. We’re going down to the docks and commandeering one of his ships.
BEN ran upstairs to change, he was followed by RYAN, FALCON and THE HOST.
PARA and MICHELLE went to the WEAPONS CHEST.
Para: Too bad we didn’t have any muskets.
Michelle: Oh! Oh! In a crypt in the graveyard, there are muskets and all sorts of old fashioned pistols.
River: I’ll go with you both. We’ll steal these weapons. Shane, get all the rest of the weapons together. Tara, Mandy, get all the dark arts stuff you can find. Joey…find some pirate clothes.
RIVER, PARA and MICHELLE left the house for the GRAVEYARD.
CHARGER CITY DOCKS – BOB KLINE’S SHIP
BOB walked by tables, each holding a dead body.
As BOB looked at the first table, the decaying body of SHANE GUPTOM laid flat. Moving to the SECOND table, PAYNE lay flattened. The THIRD table held GLASS, the MONK that created FALCON GLICK. The FOURTH table held CLARK GABLE’S rotted corpse.
BOB pulled out a dagger. He sliced his arms up, spilling his blood on the FOUR BODIES.
Bob: With this blood, I anoint thee life. By the power of the evil dark Gods, I command you return to me with much fury and hatred. One an arch nemesis, [The camera opens on PAYNE as he comes back to life, slowly], one a murdering fiend [the camera thrusts onto SHANE GUPTOM as he starts to reanimate], one an innocent with dark power [CLARK GABLE’S bones start to grow muscle, then skin], and the last . . . a creator [GLASS sits up]. Gods, I command you – return them to my control and we will rid the world of the menace that is The Slayer.
LIGHTNING struck all around the ship.
The SCRAPPY GANG finds their way to the DOCKS, seeing the lightning show around BOB’S BOAT.
Host: Oh no.
Ben: What is it?
Host: He’s found the other spell.
Ben: What other spell?
CANNON FIRE started, as a SHIP started opening fire around BEN and the GANG.
Host: That’s the ship we’ll take. We just gotta get out there. Any ideas?
Ben: Shane, Tara, Mandy you can levitate me, River and Matt. We’re strong enough, and we’ll pull the ship in close. Ryan and Joey you two get everything in this long boat and row out to the ship.
Voice: What about us, captain?
BEN turned around to see BECKY, ICEBREAKER, VADER and DAN.
Ben: I never thought I’d see you guys again…get yerselves ready for another adventure.
Ice: Aye.
SHANE, TARA and MANDY locked hands in a CIRCLE. RIVER, BEN, and MATT shot up in the air – BECKY and ICE flew by them.
Becky: Hope you don’t mind, but as a God I can fly.
Ben: What about Ice?
Ice: That’s just a big jump.
The FIVE of them LANDED on the boat – EVERY ONE of them drew swords from their waists – BEN pulled his SCYTHE.
Ben: Attack!
An all out brawl between PIRATES began.
Ben: And if you kill them, throw the bodies over board – I don’t want any dead bodies on my ship!
Ice, Becky, Matt, River: Aye!
TARA looked at MANDY
Tara: I feel a dark presence.
Mandy: I do to. I think that has something to do with the lightning around Bob’s ship.
Shane: Something’s not right. But I’m sure we’ll find out.
DOZENS of PIRATES started charging at MANDY, TARA, FALCON, MICHELLE, VADER, SETH, RYAN, JOEY, SHANE, and MARTY.
Ryan: Fight them!
They all drew their swords and engaged the PIRATES on land in sword battle.
GUNSHOTS were fired from behind. The PIRATES started to fall from the bullets flying in them.
RICK ARNOLD, SAMANTHA ARNOLD, and TOBY COMPY walked up, guns drawn.
BOB’S SHIP
Cabin Boy: Sir! The Slayer, they’ve taken one of our ships and taking out pirates on the land. We’re under attack!
Bob: Get this ship moving towards the portal!
Cabin Boy: Aye, sir!
BOB looked at the reanimating corpses. He then looked out the porthole, clearly looking at Ben.
Bob: You’d best be hopin’ that no cannon’s come blowing through here ruining my process…or you’ll surely be walking the plank.
SHORE
RICK, SAM, TOBY and the rest of the SCRAPPY GANG file into the LONG BOATS and row out to the now stolen ship, captained by BEN.
As the BOATS got next to the LARGE SHIP, the SCRAPPY GANG started boarding the SHIP.
BOB’S SHIP had already started to take off.
Ben: Open the sails and follow them!
As the CAMERA pulled back showing the SHIP opening its sails and taking off into the WIND, we see on shore TWO GHOSTLY FIGURES holding each other by the waist.
Joan: There they go…
Devin: And a battle will be fought on land and on sea, and the Slayer will face the ultimate sacrifice with the Scythe.
Joan: I just hope he’s ready.
JOAN and DEVIN disappeared
