In the Jurassic Park video game for the SEGA Genesis, you had to make bones fall on raptors to win the game, hinting at the original finale to the first film. (From: Donny)

    Well put...

Actually, the Roman empire decayed over a great amount of time from corruption, the Greek empire fell because they couldn't unify their city-states, and the British "Empire" doesn't exist outside of Great Britain because of the fact that other countries have the right to rule themselves... This is a ridiculous advertisement because China is a country that oppresses its own people and its only a matter of time before they reform and overthrow their communist leaders.

I liked it, and though some of the details may be skewed I think the point is valid:

America will fall if it does not shift off the path it has chosen. Economic, moral, and political degradation have all contributed to the corrosion of our country's foundation, and it is only a matter of time before the pillars collapse...

People have been saying that for years but the Chicoms have been able to integrate capitalist reforms while keeping their chokehold on the population. It's more ridiculous to believe that an omnipresent government is going to suddenly crater for no stated reason.

The commercial wasn't banned, it's been shown countless times and has been out since before the election.

Msg #4: On 2/6/2011 at 6:02:45 PM, Trainwreck replied, saying:
Those bastard Chinese. This is why I hate Asians.

How can you "ban" a commercial in a nation with First Amendment protections?

Anyway, I like the commercial, and hopefully China will only become more capitalist as the decades progress. I'm no expert, but as China is on the ascent, I'm anxious to know how they will behave diplomatically and militarily once they attain true superpower status.

    moral, and political degradation

No worse than they had been. Would you rather go back to the time when men could beat their wives, child labor was rampant, and slavery was institutionalized? Or when politicians who didn't agree shot one another?

Msg #5: On 2/7/2011 at 2:12:27 PM, Colin replied, saying:
Yeah, it's so stupid when people say things get "banned" nowadays. Even in a state as repressive as Utah, people still try to say that Marilyn Manson and Eminem are "banned" from performing here.

It was banned according to the website I first found it on. I had not seen it before, so I didn't question it. Honest mistake, sorry.
