I do too. Caught maybe last year or year before and couldn't believe I hadn't seen it.
I don't do lists. But I will say that I'm a big fan of some Spielberg's underrated titles like Duel and Empire of the Sun. Though Duel has way more rewatchability factor. Empire I've only seen once. Also, War Horse went out with a nay, and I can't imagine why. I liked it a lot. Replies: 7

Did I misread you a while back talking about this? Replies: 9, 10

I assume you're talking about this thread from last year, when I posted some comments about the film after I re-watched it on Blu-Ray. Most of what I said about the film was negative, but that's because they were things I had never really thought about much before and there would have been no point in simply re-stating all the standard praise people always say about the movie. I did also refer to it as a "perfectly made monster movie," though I do remember Chase once got pissed at me for calling it a monster movie. Replies: 12

Surprised how lowly you rate Lincoln Ostro, I'd push it up amongst his best.

Grinch: Lincoln reeks of self-importance and I was totally bored by its unimaginative, risk-free, photorealistic portrait of Lincoln as a political genius. It's a "better" movie than, say, Temple of Doom, but there was nothing in it I enjoyed other than the performances and the period detailing.
