Jurassic Park made obscure dinosaurs like Velociraptor and Dilophosaurus household names. The newfound fame attracted marketers to the dinosaur money train, inspiring new basketball teams (the Toronto Raptors), and useless spin-off products such as the Meanie Babies' "Velocicrapper". "The Good Dinosaur"
On 6/2/2015 at 5:38:35 PM, Ostromite started the thread:

I haven't like a Pixar movie in a while, but this seems like it may be a return to form: an original, sweet, simple story that appeals to something basic and universal about children's imaginations. The trailer doesn't show much, but it's basically about a young Apatosaurus befriending a human child, and the "what if" scenario seems like an excuse to get dinosaurs and cavemen together like in old cartoons.

This looks like such a great concept. I'm a little surprised we're getting two Pixar movies in one year, though.

I hope it's good, but I think Inside Out looks a little hokey and schematic.

UMMMMMMM excuuuuuuuse me, dinos and humans living together? I will not stand for this blatant creationist propaganda.

    DEATH TO PIXAR.

I know you're joking, but the film is about an Apatosaurus, anyway, so even if there weren't humans, they'd already been extinct for 90 million years when the asteroid hit at the end of the Cretaceous.

Inside Out looks terrible. Pixar have been cracking up since Ratatouille.

It looks like something from DreamWorks.

Completely lost as to how some of the shots look fantastic and full of great designs- the night scene of the asteroid passing, the dusty red scene of the dinosaurs walking past, while the full lit daylight scenes look awful and with terrible dinosaur designs. The two rexes running towards the camera looks awful.
