K but seriously, what the FUCK were they thinking?!?!! 😂😂 Leto is amazing but whaaaaaat????!!?!
Msg #1: On 4/26/2015 at 2:22:13 AM, Ostromite replied, saying: I was pretty stoked for a Suicide Squad movie because it's basically The Dirty Dozen with supervillains, and I actually think Jared Leto is a perfect choice to play the Joker, but this is just really, really lame. It reeks of square old men trying to make the character hip to teenagers.
Msg #2: On 4/26/2015 at 3:39:47 AM, raptor2000 replied, saying: I had complete faith in Leto, but this is just atrocious. Even if Leto knocks it out of the park with his performance, I'm never going to be able to get past the tattoos and the grill. I get they wanted to differentiate this Joker from previous incarnations, but this is just ridiculous. Might as well call him the Jokesta. Replies: 5

He's just so damaged.
Out of all the glaring things I really don't like, that stupid fucking tattoo on his forehead is by-far the most glaring, despite being so small. I feel like he needs to utter the phrase "The world is black." at some point in the movie.
Wouldn't have minded if they just stopped with the laughing tattoos... can kind of see those having been cool; but the cheshire smile, the "J" teardrop.
I guess this is the modernized Joker Gotham has been needing?

It took a whopping 24 hrs, but there's already proof that you aren't going to see a shirtless Joker flashing his tats every scene. Something I didn't think would be in the case in the slightest to begin with. Cannot wait for Leto's performance, which will be fantastic. It's also things like good writing and storytelling that make a character work.

Oh, and I came across who else will be in the movie, and the plot:
Will Smith, Jay Hernandez, Jared Leto, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Viola Davis, Adam Beach, Common , Ike Barinholtz, Joel Kinnaman, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Raymond Olubowale
Plot Summary:
Based on the legendary "Task Force X," better known as "Suicide Squad." Created by Robert Kanigher and Ross Andru back in 1959, the team has included countless DC villains among its ranks.
There's a rumor that Common will be playing Black Manta. Mind, it's just a rumor, so take with a tub of salt. Replies: 7
Msg #7: On 4/27/2015 at 5:47:36 AM, Ostromite replied to Msg #6, saying: If he doesn't have the tattoos in the movie, then why the fuck did they release a publicity photo like that?
Msg #8: On 4/27/2015 at 11:23:40 AM, raptor2000 replied, saying: I figured he'd be clothed for most of the movie, so the body tattoos didn't really bother me. Like I said, it's the one on his forehead and the grill on his teeth I can't get past.
I'm with Ostro, though, in that I've seen lots of rumors going around that Joker doesn't actually have the tattoos in the movie, in which case why the hell is he covered in them in the first official photo of him? I'm guessing this is some weird advertising move that backfired terribly, but then I can't figure out who it was supposed to appeal to in the first place. The only thing I can think is they deliberately put something out they knew would outrage fans just to get people talking.

Msg #10: On 4/27/2015 at 5:00:24 PM, Ostromite replied to Msg #9, saying: Again, though, why is he covered in tattoos? If they were releasing it as a tie-in with previous incarnations of the Joker, shouldn't he, like, be holding up a hand of poker cards that all have jokers on them that look like previous Jokers?
