"Some HD or Blu-ray pics from the JP Trilogy?"
On 5/16/2011 at 5:56:49 PM, Oviraptor started the thread:
    These are from ILM.com,

    More at ilm.com.

That last picture I've never seen. Looks like the animatronic fight that they completely (well, almost) replaced for the CGI one. Which makes you finding the pic on ILM pretty baffling.

I'm having trouble finding these shots on their site. Do you have a direct link?

Yeah, like C3 said, that final shot from JP3 is not in the final film. Plus, those pictures don't really look very HD anyway.

Kevy click on Our Work, then find the film, and then click on Gallery.

    There is no direct link.

    Sweet. Thanks!

I dunno, man. That shot of the Rexes by Eddie's Benz seems pretty high quality to me.

The one with the rex breaking through the fence looks especially good!

And Grant's shirt looks so clear and crispe!

Hmmm... Look more like HD than Blu-Ray, just really cleaned up a ton.

Msg #9: On 5/27/2011 at 3:45:34 PM, Carnotaur3 replied, saying:
They could have been taken from an HD transfer, but they aren't HD captures 1920x1080 pics. There also looks like a saturation loss in the photos.

Msg #10: On 5/28/2011 at 11:11:49 AM, Trainwreck replied, saying:
Like C3 says, what makes a movie "HD" is the actual screen resolution. Far from being 1920x1080 (or 1080, for resolution noobs), they are 666x367, which is even less than standard definition tv. It's literally impossible to say these are HD without a full size capture. To me, they just look like standard captures from the movies.
