    "Chinasaurs Collectors"
On 6/28/2015 at 11:37:28 PM, elementry started the thread:
While cleaning out old toys and figures for ebay, I discovered that there is an entire subculture of collectors that pay high prices for 'Chinasaurs'. Chinasaurs are plastic, bootlegs that used to be sold in the 70s and 80s in small plastic bags. Turns out I have quite a collection from when I was a boy.

    Does anyone here collect them?

I've never heard the term tbh.

A quick google search shows what looks like those crappy plastic mini dino toys they sell at the dollar store. Is that what they are?

Uh, yeah, I totally collect cheap, shitty Chinese toys from the dollar store.

Yup, cheap crap. Evidently there is an entire fandom based on them.

Apparently it was what a lot of the original D&D monsters were based on them, which is one of the reasons they are collected.
