    JP:3D Takes in $7 Million Friday, More Than Anticipated
    Hitflix is reporting the 'Evil Dead' remake edged out JP:3D Friday with a take of $11.9 million, however JP:3D's performance of $7 million was more than expected by box office watchers. This suggests JP's re-release will take in a total of $22 million this weekend, better than the "mid-teens" figure that was talked about earlier this week.
