Spider-Man Movie Game Strategy Guide By tobycompy2.0
actually got this on April 17 (the day it came out) and I beat it on April 18th. It was actually pretty long but I was sick during those days so I played it practically the whole day.
This game has 23 Levels, it is not all about the movie, but half of it revolves around Green Goblin. There is also Shocker, and Vulture. Plus the Crazed Scorpion.
I found that The Shocker's subway was very fun. You run around saving Civilians and fighting thugs. You chase Shocker through about 6 levels before you get to actually fight him. And it ain't too tough.
Then comes Vulture, after you fight Shocker he tells you where to find him, because he ain't gettin' his share of the dough. He is in his bell-tower and you run up the stairs dodging bombs, spiders and then the place blows up and you have to get your way around a swinging log of fire. Tip: On the swinging log of fire crawl on the walls over to the next stair-way, its alot easier than swinging or zip-lining over there.
Then you getta fight ol' BirdBrain on the Empire State Building. Tip: On the top of the empire state building there is a combat combo. Get it when Vulture is down, when crawling up there. Zip line as high as you can, Vulture gets his windback fast.
After that about 15 spiders that fight you come after old' Spidey and you have to protect Scorpion. Tip:Its easier to protect Scorpion when you are by him. Listen to the sounds he makes when he jumps around to find him easier. Took Took Took Took. Also, when Spiders get up on the walls use Web Yank to get em' down. Its easier and fun too1 :)
Then Scorpion gets all crazy on you and you have to fight him. Stay closer to him and he won't do his powerup tail laser shoot.
Now you getta fight Green Goblin. You have to save Mary-Jane. Swing down on the float she is on before she hits the building. Then, you get a little video, where Spidey gets a wee bit of action. Now when you head back to the air, punch and kick Goblin and try to press X right when your about to hit him. Then you will ride him. Don't press kick because it will make you jump off. Punch him a whole bunch before he kicks you off. Now when you are fighting him he will say: 'Your boring me, Spider-Man', and ride off, follow him and he will damage the buildings. Quickly web them up. Then you fight him again. And he will say: 'I can't bother with you I have things to do.' He'll do the exact same thing with a bridge.
Now you fight him the same way you fought Vulture. When he falls down and you do him hand-to-hand. Always punch him, kicking, he always blocks and then throws you and jumps on you, ITS ANNOYING AS HELL so follow my advice. Now, remember, Powerups in the first building are up by the walls and down by the door. In the second building watch out for the electrical things. And its a lot harder to fight Goblin in there, keep an eye on him, or he'll throw Pumpkin bombs at you.
Now you have to dismantle bombs, and stuff. Just stay out of the Spotlights and go as fast as hell!
Right now you are fighting Goblin's razorbats, they are easy, to get a time bonus. Waste no time. Go straight to the construction site as soon as the level starts. Then fight the razorbats in that area and then go to the spider thing under some of the construction (The pointer will tell you where to go)
Now you have to go to Oscorp, these few levels are the hardest, but also very fun! Like Metal Gear Solid: Spider-Man. Stay on the ceiling whatever you do! Only drop down occasionally to get the code from the computers, make sure the guards are far away! Cause they can see you from a good distance. If the alarm goes off go into a shady area, and if the robots see you. Hurry and swing out of that room, and get into another shady area (Out of that room!)
Now you have sneak around again. I only have a few tips. When you go into that heavily lazered place swing through it as fast as you can, and then into the nearest shady area. When that science dude comes with the key, zip line down, punch him, zip line up. Then the bots will come and set the alarm off no matter what, so after you zip line up hurry into Room D, and press the button. Stay in there for a while, the bots will not go in there, the alarm will still be going. But they will have cleared out of that area. Then swing fast as hell back to the place where you push the button and you will have beaten that level.
Now you have to fight a gigantic Robot, this is the order you do it in: Do the top four on his back. do it quickly and then go back and get a power-up.
Do the two under his face, not too hard.
Those two in the corners, do them from a distance with camera lock on. Do the web shoot thing Triangle and up. From about 40 feet away. Do them both from a distance so he doesn't shoot you with the gigantic lazer.
Now, the tricky part, those two at the edge of the room, swing by them and he will shoot the laser. Do not do them yet. Swing around for about 5 seconds and then jump down and punch one. Then he will shoot there, if you get hit. Get a powerup and do the same thing with the next one. If you didn't run over to the next one and do it. Now this will destroy the sheild on his neck. Swing over and punch it tree times. You beat it.
Now you have to escape from Oscorp. Just swing around, and press all the buttons, pretty easy.
Allright, your doing the conclusion, Green Goblin has kidnapped Mary-Jane. Right now you are swinging after him. Release your web swinging a lot to chase after him. This is pretty hard, but basically all you have to do is keep up with him.
The very last level, baby! Waste no time and swing directly over to Mary Jane and put her on the ground. This level is pretty straightforward and in my opinion easier than the first hand-to-hand fight with Goblin.
Congratulations, you have beaten Spider-Man! If you have just gotten this game I recommnend printing this out I am also posting it in the fan fiction section.
I did not do the first few levels because they are too easy.
