Time Control: Introduction

One of the most brilliant people on Earth is an American scientist named Charlie Fernandez. He first became a scientist at the age of 19. He is now 57. That is 38 years in science. He spent all of that time trying to create a device that was capable of stopping and restarting time. Most people wondered why he would want to do this. He wanted to prove that it could be done. On November 1, 2004, he finally succeeded in creating that device.
Charlie Fernandez took a weird looking gun from his worktable. He placed the end of it onto his forearm and pressed the trigger on the gun. A small transmitter was placed inside of him.
He then picked up a small remote, no bigger than a normal sized calculator. On the remote, there were two buttons. A red button, and a blue button. Charlie pressed the red button.
When Charlie pressed the red button, everything just stopped. Charlie walked across the room to one of his two assistants, Dustin Patterson. Charlie waved his hand in front of Dustin's face. Dustin remained motionless.
" It worked," whispered Charlie in awe.
Charlie took the remote and pressed the blue button. Time returned back to normal. His two assistants returned to doing what they were doing.
" Dustin, Jake, get over here right now!" exclaimed Charlie in excitement.
Dustin walked over to Charlie's worktable, followed by another man. The other man's nametag read *Jake Bombadir*.
" You two," says Charlie, " take this gun and place a transmitter in your arm."
"Why," asks Jake.
"Because," replies Charlie, " I have finally created a device that stops time! I just tested it!"
Dustin and Jake take the gun and in turn put a transmitter inside of themselves
Charlie waits until they have inserted the transmitters into their arms, and then he presses the red button.
Time stops again.
"Whoa," exclaims dustin.
" Imagine what someone could do with all of this power," said Jake.
Suddenly Jake lunges at charlie, knocking the device out of his hand.
" And I want that power," yells Jake.
Dustin goes to attack Jake, but Jake kicks him it the gut, knocking Dustin to his knees.
Jake then turns around to see Charlie crawling along the floor towards the remote. Jake delivers a kick to the head of Dustin, knocking Dustin down. Jake then runs over to Charlie, who is about to grab the remote. He grabs Charlie around the neck, strangling him. Charlie tries to get free of Jakes grip but he cannot. Charlie slumps to the ground dead. Jake grabs the remote and turns to Dustin, who is on the floor, starting to get up.
" See you later," Jake yells at Dustin. Then Jake presses the blue button and restarts time. Jake then tucks the remote into his pocket and runs out of the lab.
