    #349
The Simpsons Comics #30 features a parody of JP where Smithers suggest making clones of himself to do work. When the two enter a theater to see a "Mr. DNA" style show on the plan, Burns says, "Oh, goodie, a show! Mayhap it will be a cautionary tale of technology gone awry with spectacular effects and paper thin characters!" (From: Green Mamba)

Jurassic Park: Evolution Factor: Chaos chapter 2
    By rex_defender

Jonathan awoke at six in the morning, he opened the window of his motel room and greeted an orange sunrise. After a fast shower and breakfast he was off for the International Connections Airfield. The trip there wasn’t long, he arrived a few minutes before seven o’clock but Lawless was already there waiting for him. “For a moment, I didn’t think you’d show.” Lawless said. After paying the cab, Lawless led Jonathan into the hanger and to a small office. As Lawless was reviewing maps of Isla Nublar with Jonathan, a knock on the office door was heard. The door opened and in walked four people, two men and two women. “Ah, these are the four who will accompany you on the trip.” Lawless said. The first to enter was a woman, dressed in brown shorts and a green T-shirt, “Ah, this is my head researcher, Jennifer Lens. She will be heading the expedition.” Lawless said. After meeting and talking with Jennifer, the group was ready to load on the plane; they loaded the small thirty-foot plane, found their seats and buckled in. After only five minutes, they had taken off and were on their way for Isla Nublar. After three hours of only talking and introductions, the pilot’s voice was heard, telling the group that they were approaching Isla Nublar and that they had to land in a small field populated by Herbivores. Within a few moments, the plane landed with a slight jolt and immediately, Jonathan and the rest of the passengers were looking out their windows at the many types of Herbivores. Such as beautiful striped Parasaurolophus, spotted Corythiosaurs and Brachiosaurs which had a mixture of plain brown and spotted orange on their hides, the group also made out a group of Triceratops.

When the door finally opened, the group grabbed their bags and made their way out of the plane. The first thing they saw, upon leaving the plane, was the herd of Triceratops; and one particular Trike was much bigger than the others. It was nearly as big as the plane itself, it was a flat green color with brownish stripes down it’s spine and they also saw that it was particularly aggressive. They didn’t think anything of it as they made their way around the plane, to the pilot’s side window. “Straight that way should be the forest with the large trees in it.” The pilot said while pointing towards the forest straight ahead of the plane. With a final signal from Jennifer, the pilot closed his window and started the engines of the plane. He then looked back at the group and gave a final salute, when suddenly his head was thrown against the window with force. The plane was now swaying back and forth, the left propeller was inching its way towards the ground with each rock. The group ran to the front of the plane to see what was causing the swaying, when they reached the front; they looked in fear as they saw the gigantic Triceratops rocking the plane back and forth. They looked towards the cockpit, the pilot was shaking his head and unbuckling his straps. When he finally unfastened the final strap, the plane tipped over, and the left propeller dropped into the ground, sending pieces of the blade flying through the air. The pilot had just gotten out of his seat, when a piece of the blade flew through his window and into his helmet, he dropped as soon as he was hit.

The Triceratops backed away from the plane and then the right side of the plane dropped towards the ground, then the right propeller hit the ground, sending pieces of the blade flying into the plane’s side and into the field. The Trike turned its attention towards the group and let out a trumpet-like call. Without a second thought, the group turned and ran for the forest as the Trike charged towards them. With only twenty feet between the group and the forest, the Trike was closing the gap between himself and the group. When they finally reached the forest, the only thing that saved them from being trampled was the front trees, which stopped the Trike in its tracks. As the Triceratops backed away, it gave another trumpet-like call as it turned around and began to return to its herd. The group stopped running and rested against a tree, two sat on an old log and the others stood up, gasping for air. Alex, one of the Military personnel, stood up, opened his backpack and pulled out a gun which was broken down into three pieces: the barrel, the butt and the trigger. After assembling the pieces, he made sure that the rest of the group was all right before motioning them to continue on towards the large trees. Jennifer checked her map to make sure they weren’t in any Carnivore territory, when she decided that they weren’t she agreed to continue on.

As they continued on, Jonathan pulled out one of his cameras took off the lens cap and checked the counter, which read a full thirty shots. The first few shots that he took were just of a few plants, which Jennifer had said were extinct. When they reached the base of the first tree, which was large enough to stay in, Alex pulled out rope and threw it up and around a limb, which was around ten feet from the ground. He then fixed the rope, so it was suitable to climb with ease. Alex was first to climb to the branch, then Jennifer, then Danah, the groups paleontologist; Brian was forth, the other Military personnel. When they finally motioned for Jonathan to ascend the rope, he began but was stopped by an ear-splitting roar. He stopped his climb and walked out a few feet from the rope, looking off into the forest. When he saw and heard nothing, he turned back and ascended the rope. With the sun, high in the air, they decided that they would stay in the tree for an hour or so and wait for an animal to come to them. As they waited on the branch, the same ear-splitting roar rang throughout the forest again. The group looked deep into the forest, but could only make out the shadows of the trees, they sat there wondering what this animal was that they may encounter on their expedition.
