Chapter 2
Chris, Dylan, Wyatt, and the growers looked and decided not to move and hide behind a log.
They watched the animal come out of the forest it was a T.Rex the king of dinosaurs, they watched as the massive giant walked towards them its steps not relaying anything any thumping sounds because it was stepping softly to not scare the pray away.
Chris saw Wyatt trying to hold back when he was about to sneeze he had gotten it down he relaxed then it shot out alerting the rex to their location; the rex responded with a deifying roar. The workers that ran towards it to confuse it then they would run away.
They ran screaming but the rex herded them back aginsed the destroyed Sam site the rex closed its jaws around 2 of them they screamed as they were lifted into the air while being crushed in the animals jaws they screamed as the their bodies were slowly stabbed
The rex then shook the 2 men flinging their body parts everywhere, blood running down the rex’s jaws and spattered on the ground the rex swallowed them and picked the other one up and bit him in half his blood and intestines falling to the ground the rex roared triumphantly once more and stomped off triumphantly.
The pilots got up and began to walk south towards the sea, they walked through the area where the growers died the smell was horrible Chris and Dylan were puking their guts out at the gruesome sight to see the blood and the arms some legs and an eye and a terrible stench of the digestive system Wyatt just looked and walked on with the others after they puked and wiped their mouths. They walked to a very high hill and climbed a tall tree to sleep.
They climbed the tree when the sun was almost touching the sea, they watched as the sun slowly lowered itself into the water it seemed to sit on the water like a man sitting on his butt on the ground the sun was slowly lowered into the water and then a green flash as the last of the direct suns rays shot through the thickest part of the atmosphere and made a green flash as the sun winked out for the night.
The group went to sleep but none of them slept well the night; they woke up early to a bird screeching in the tree limb above them, they looked for any signs of and dinosaurs that might attack them they saw none as they climbed down the tree Wyatt fell as he was the first to climb down the tree as he fell raptors ran out of the bushes and surrounded him he shouldered his m-16 and begun to fire at the raptors the raptors begun to fall to the ground blood flying as the bullets flew through them; the 10 raptors that started fell slowly but 2 had run up and kicked Wyatt off of his feet onto the ground and as it stepped onto of his chest the other raptor was shot by Dylan but the one raptor snapped its head and latched onto a piece of watt’s chest and ripped a bloody hole in his flight clothes Wyatt was becoming dizzy from pain everything went black and he herd a barrage of shots ring out from the tree as his last thought before he blacked out. He felt the weight fall limp onto of his chest and then it was lifted and he was awoken to an ammonia glass tube in thick paper was broken and put in front of his nose to wake him up; he groaned in pain as they bandaged his chest up after disinfecting it. He blacked out and then woke up 1 hour later he got up groaning he shouldered the weapon and staggered on with the group.
They herd the sound of the ocean they ran towards the beautiful sound they waited and they ignited the smoke flares and a squad of fifty marines in amphibious armored personnel carriers powered up onto the beach and the back doors slammed down and fully armed troops stormed onto the beach encircling the pilots.
But as they begun to walk to the apc’s the beach was stormed by a swarm of Utah raptors shrieked as they landed on several of the men
Men and raptors fell to the ground some being disemboweled and then left some falling from friendly fire the beach was slowly turning a pinkish hue the raptors kept coming the soldiers kept firing back at them the soldiers decided to fall back to the apc’s only 10 of the fifty men made it back to the apc’s and shut the doors and churned back to the sea the blood from the men had turned the water a dark red color most of the men were not dead but could not be saved and forced to die a slow painful death in the sun as their intestines would slowly begin to dry and crust the lucky troops would be killed by raptors that were in a mood to play with their food before eating it.
Chris, Wyatt, and Dylan made it back to the boat…. They had survived the incident but the traumas to their brain and minds was severe they could not sleep, they could not do anything without the fear that had been imposed on them on the island.
They took years of psychiatric help to make them non-fretting and be normal again.
