Raged Instinct chpt. 5

Chapter 5: Freedom Nature Offers
Rain and Cloud jumped up seeing us. They started to growl and go into a defensive pose. They didn't recognize us. Only one way I can convince them that it is us, Dawn and Dusk. I had to do our packs identify dance. Only members of our pack knew this dance so we would know how is part of our pack and who isn't. I spun around in a circle a few times and face Cloud and extended my feathered arms and squaked at him a few times. I then jumped up and down like a bird trying to fly. Cloud finally recognized us, he got up excited and relieved that we are here. There was a large crate blocking his pen so Dawn and I pushed it out of the way. The crate was very heavy, but our strength was also enhanced. The crate was out of the way and the door of the pen opened. As Rain and Cloud stepped out of the pen we all heard a bunch of squeking noises. We turned around and saw all the raptor pens opening. Definently not good. We can't take them all on so we had to make a run for it. We ran for a while down the twisting tunnels of this human lair of metal. Rain and Cloud grew tired and had to stop. We were pretty far ahead of the other super raptors so we could walk from here. We heard hissing around a corner of the tunnel. Around the corner was a large amount of steam coming from the side of the tunnel. We got close to the steam but it was very hot. The steam was blocking the way so we had to pick a new path for us to take. Up ahead I saw a large exit that was closed by two pieces of metal and was guarded by a human with one one those cylinders things that made a loud noise. I knew Rain and Cloud were hungry but they were too tired to hunt. I was surprised that they were able to travel as far as they did. It was up to me to take down this human. Dawn stayed behind with Rain and Cloud to protect them from any of the other raptors if they came. I quietly snuck up of the guard. The human still didn't hear me coming yet. The human was just sitting there looking bored. I got so close to the human that I was breathing on the human. They human finally notice my presence. I quickly bit into his neck and hold the human in the air. The human had the expression of fear on its face. The mouth of the human was still moving but no noise came out. The human wasn't able to move or react to my actions. All the human could do was hang there and wait for its death. I grinned at the human and bit its head right off. The head rolled to Rain and the body landed on its knees while a fountain of blood sprayed from where the head was once was. The body fell on its side on the ground and the flow of blood slowed down. A large puddle of blood formed around the body. I turned back to the others and saw Rain breaking the human's head open for the tasty brain inside. I called for them to come and eat this body. After they finished their fill we had to figure out how to open this exit. I saw a square pad on the side of the exit. It had two colours, red and green. I remember seeing these humans use this to open these exits and entrances. They pushed the green button for the exit to open and the red button to close it. I pushed the green button with my snout and to our surprise the exit opened and we saw our loved forest just through the exit. We rushed out and smelt the air that we haven't smelt in weeks, but the air didn't seem to smell right.
