Fort Peck Lake, Montana The struggling Paleontologist, Alan Grant walked into his trailer after helping Billy dig up a Chasmosaur skull all morning. He walked in to the trailer and took a beer out of the icebox in the kitchen. It was his 80 th. case of beer which ment he was near the end of his season. He also prepared a small bowl of soup for his lunch. Alan sat on his ragged sofa and manually turned on his tv to hear the latest news. He set the soup on the floor and sipped his beer. "Last night, a disturbing discovery was found on the coastline of Cabo Blanco. We have an eye witness who saw the murder in the making." Said the anchorman. The screen flashed to the eyewitness whose speech was translated. " I heard gun rounds and and screams when I woke from my sleep. I Threw up the window and looked down from my two story window and saw a man in the deserted street. Then, I saw a shape come toward the man. The street light was dim so I could only make out the shape." The man shuddered. "The shape had a long neck, large snout, strong legs with claws, and... a stiff tail." Alan nearly spit out his beer when he heard those words. " Oh...my...god." Alan dropped his beer, turned off the tv and ran out of the trailer toward Billy. " Billy! Billy!" Alan shouted as he ran to meet him. "What?" Billy asked. "They're on the mainland!" Alan said out of breath. "What are?" "You're worst mightmare." Billy was stunned. "Exscuse me." said a man behind Grant. The man was in his early forty's and was wearing a khaki shirt and shorts. "Are you Alan Grant?" Alan slowly turned around. "Yes. Can I help you?" Alan asked a little shakey. "Alan. Who's he?" Billy whispered. "Richard Levine." Alan whispered back. To Be Continued...
