    D.N.A. Chapter 2:

The port sat in the gloom, a single street light lit a small patch of street but the rest of it was lost to the inky blackness beyond. Justin waited in his cabin aboard THE NAVIGATOR, a ship he borrowed from a Client company to the Paleontology Association, Biosyn. THE NAVIGATOR chugged to life and the cabin rocked back slowly. In their cabin were Justin, Grant, Aaron, Fiona and Jack; all had aggreed to help Biosyn find a missing worker named Josh. Grant hadn't been too keen to come but Fiona persuaded him in the end. In another cabin were some people who had come to help, Islambu: a macho-man, he'd taken voyages there and back and new the coast. Killarara: fields expert, Oma Sinatopp: he was in charge of radio links. A small man from New York named Sam was on board, so far they didn't know much about him. The new person, Jack, was a weapons person; he's skilled at what he does, he was familiar with weaponry; he took the same training for Mogadishu as Delta force, back then. The slow motion of the boat started to have an affect on everyone, the tv would flicker and the little silver droplets on the windows would lure people to bed. Justin let himself go and fell into a clumsy sleep, dreaming about the adventure ahead.

The boat jerked forward suddenly as it hit dry ground, Justin fell out of his bed and hit his head on the ground; "Damnit!" he yelled and got up. It was only 3:46 he noted as he pulled on his backpack, they'd arrived earlier then expected and everyone was waiting on deck. They were all there, rugged up and ready to go; Aaron fingering his brown hair in an effort to 'spike' it up like kids do.
They all wore the same tracking stuff. One by one they all got off and headed up the shore, Grant's boots were filling up with sand fast and its not like the same was happening to others. "Not much of a G'day day, is it?" Justin said in his usual Aussie accent as he got over to Fiona and Jack. They looked at him and he remembered the don't understand, too much slang. "If we're lucky we can set base camp early and start our work, the convoy here will find the missing person." Fiona said as her boot sunk straight into some wet sand.
Aaron was having his own trouble, the sand came to his waist and Justin had disappeared; Just my day, he thought and trudged on. Grant came from behind and picked him up, "Thanks" Aaron said and enjoyed the ride from Grants shoulders. "How you going Aaron?" Grant said as they trudged, "Great, not every day i get to hang out with a top paleontologist and his girlfriend, my uncle and a weapons expert while watching dinosaurs everyday, is it?" Aaron said excitedly and little flashes of light echoed into the trees as he took photos. Grant worried a bit, what if they were attacked.

That CHAPTER is crucial, it leads onto a big scene so keep watch: Here is a suspense scene that could be in D.N.A. By the way the interview with myself was actually done by my cousin so don't blame me.

    "Grate Room"

"Stay here and don't go anywhere, I'm going back out to get the others!" Grant said to Fiona and Aaron. They had just gotten in to the building, barracaded the doors and windows and moved up to the highest floors. Raptors had attacked at the last moment before they got in, Grant had gotten them out and left the others but he was going to go back; he knew they were still alive. Kissing Fiona on the lips and giving here a shotgun and ammo, he left, they quickly barred the door he went out. They moved up high into the huge work building they were in, floor 17. It was a huge Panorama view, large windows and very luxurious. They watched out the windows as a little speck, Grant, moved to the trees and disappeared from it came flashes of light as he slew remaining raptors in wait.

"You know what?" Aaron said, "I'm hungry" and that was when it occcured to Fiona that they hadn't eaten. "Ok, let's find a kitchen or staff room" Fiona said back and they moved around the area and soon they found it; accompanied by a 12 year old biscuit still sitting in a mug of coffee which had grown a skin. They ate what they need and saved the rest of the others, there were some cheeses, off biscuits and some M&M's that were still edible. They sat on the floor, the walls were like a grate, little holes big enough for someone to see through. They were eating happily until Fiona realised that Aaron was shaking hard, "What's the matter?" she asked and then it became apparent. Through the grated markings there they could see 5 ot so raptors trudging along, stopping to smell the air. She grabbed Aaron and started edging towards the door, slowly, slowly, slowly. The raptors advanced, sniffing and tapping the floors with little taps. She got to the door, she slowly reached up to the handle. Her hand wrapped around the smooth surface and then she became aware that a raptor was eyeing her. She froze. It watched her contently as the others passed, Fiona breathed in hard and flexed her muscles slowly so that the raptors would not see. Releasing Aaron she put on hand on the leg of a table and with a loud CLANG! CLING! SHHOOSH! she got up and slammed the door, pushed the iron table in front of it and grabbed the shotgun. The raptors panicked and started clawing at the thin metal keepin them apart, inside, Fioan pulled Aaron near. Aaron grabbed an M-60 from inside his pocket, he stole it earlier. All around them, metal bended inwards, towards them! It was eery to watch , suddenly a raptor head appeared and Fiona blasted it. She fired again and got a hole big enough for them to escape. She got out and shot a raptor that came to them and its blood sprayed on the metal, running down it slowly. She helped Aaron out and they ran. The sound got the attention of the raptors and the followed, Fiona and Aaron didn't stop; they kept going until they found themselves down a corridor with a security room down the end. Aaron jumped in and fell to the floor, Fiona turned around and fired continous rounds until it ran out. The corridor was filled with blood bodies, a pool of blood flowed towards them. They pushed a table with PC's on it in front of the door, Fiona turned around to find Aaron on the floor making his way towards a large metal room joint to their own. A Panic Room! she thought and they got in, pressed a blinking green button. The door snapped and in came a load of raptors, each snarling with their green eyes glowing in the dark. The 70 inche thick door was closing just as they got in, a raptors stopped it; snarling at them as it moved about. Aaron filled its face with lead and the door closed successfully, the raptors would have a hard time getting through that. The snarls could still be heard as they threw themselves against the walls. In the Panic Room was a bed, a food cabinet, video surveillance screens, a vent, some ammo and a phone. Fiona picked it up and dialed for Grant.

Out in the jungle Jack, Justin, Josh and Grant sat in a tree in rest. Grant heard his phone ring and he anwsered with concern and happiness. To the others they saw his face twist in horror, he hung up and turned to the others. "What was it?" Justin said, "Fiona and Aaron....they've been attacked. They're surrounded by about 30 raptors and are in a Panic Room" Grant said. They all stopped, at once they began reloading; someones gonna have to fight them out of there.
