    -Tree Slinging-

Jack sighed and dug his head into his hands, a uzi sat on his right and Justin sat on his left. There they were, the pair of them sitting in a tree in the middle of nowhere; completely surrounded by the unkown and what was known was enough to make you end your own life. Together they shared the ammo, food and other essentials. Justin held his two M-60's contently and remembered what Josh had told him before the raptors came and supposedly took his life. Jack, picked up his uzi and began to move; branch to branch, tree to tree. He stopped suddendly and turned back to Justin who was still rocking back and forwards biting his lip. "C'mon, don't want to leave you behind" Jack said and came back, " I know..." Justin replied and stopped abruptly. "But you see, we're being watched" he continued and a small squeak erupted from the forest floor. "Compy's, they're surroung this area, they were attracted to the canned fish that we opened." he said and with that ran and joined Jack because at that moment either coincidence or knowing the compy's began climbing the trees quickly. One perked up off the side of a tree, Josh quickly nailed it to the bark with a shot fro his uzi. Josh nodded to Justin and they flew, leaping far as the compy's below and in the trees followed their prey like ants. Compy's popped up suddenly at every tree and branch, squealing and jumping; Justing ducked and shot a compy as it lept off a high trunk and at his neck. Jack fired happily, blowing them away as they came but they kept running, bending over and shooting the compys as they climbed the side of the tree. They ran until the tree line ran out and revealed a glossy field of glinting grass, they turned to find a see of compy's stting in the trees, on branches and vines; everything!

Jack and Justin prayed and with one last brust of energy ran, firing while they went.
