Prolugue of D.N.A

A north-western wind was blowing and Josh, a tall man of the age of 34 had difficulties hearing his partner over the phone. The phone crackled, "Dew...kgjl...hdhf....juiup!" it cracked. "What?" Josh said again but the line crackled one last time and went dead, Josh flung it away into the bushes and took his backpack off his shoulders. Josh was on the island Isla Sorna, told by his boss to come by and photograph at least one dinosaur so that his boss could hand it over to another company called, Biosyn. From a small pouch in his backpack he pulled out two M-60's; each loaded, Josh strapped some spare clips to his legs. He brushed away some of his black hair that covered his gem-like blue eyes. He was wearing a black top, the neck was wet from his sweat, he legs were covered by dark green pants and they ended in blue runners that covered his feet. He also wore a silver pair of sunglasses. He ran off into the bushes and came out into a field filled with herbivores, large and small. Stegosaurus', Ankylosaurs, Brachiosaurs and Maiasaurus'.
The grass swayed in the wind and the ground trembled as the massive beasts stomped their way around, especially the Brachiosaurs as they lept up and bit trees from the highest branch. He unstrapped a camera from his waist and bent down on one knee, good, he thought as straight after the shot he could go home.
Just as he was about to press the button he heard a squeal from the trees behind him, "Uh oh" he said and ran. He ran as hard as he could, flinging off excess luggage and just as he got rid of his spare batteries for his camera a pack of raptors burst from the trees as blank speed and headed towards him like bullets. Josh ran and just as he met the tree line he turned around and pointed his M-60's at the raptors and began firing like crazy, stray bullets flying and hitting herbivores in the legs and belly. The raptors kept on coming, more and more of them. Josh hurried into the trees, checking back and seeing the odd flash of claws and feathers that would surely tear him apart.
He reached a clearance near the coast, sand on the ground and large rocks in odd places, ferns and other tropical plants lined the area. Suddenly a raptor jumped in front of him, he paused and shot it in mid-leap, a spary of blood shot out its back and onto a tree. Around him they circled in and Josh fired frantically, flashes after flashes of bright lights came from the gun as the bullets pierced the skin of the raptors, in the neck, in the belly but at last the ammo ran out. Josh watched as his last ray of hope fell out of the gun and collapsed onto the ground, the empty clip. The raptors circled him and prepared to leap but as they did one of them was scooped up by a Spinosaurs mouth, the raptors lost all interest in Josh and attacked the newcomer. Josh, taking advantage of the moment fled into the jungle. Reloading his M-6O's as he went.
