The Worst It gets Chapter 6

Chapter six
While walking along, Billy was studying the papers he has picked up from the building. The papers gave a general description of how InGen had created the hybrid. It said that instead of using frog DNA to fill in the gaps of the gene sequences, they had used human DNA. They had not used only human DNA, though. They had also used DNA from other species of dinosaurs. For one example, procompsognathus.
They result of this mixture of DNA was a highly adaptable and smart dinosaur, with the ferocity to kill anything, and the social intelligence to organize hunts.
In addition to its intelligence, it had a six-inch claw on each foot, a characteristic of raptors. It had sharp teeth and strong jaws, as well as powerful arms. With its five-fingered hands, it could grab, squeeze, or turn something with ease, something many dinosaurs could not. This gave it a huge advantage in many things.
“Hey, what’s that?” asked Cassie when she saw the papers he was studying.
“The documentary of how they created hat hybrid back there,” he replied.
“Oh. What’s it say?”
“How they filled in the gaps in the gene sequences with human DNA, instead of frog DNA.”
“Wow. I can’t believe how the could do such a horrible thing.” She commented.
“Yeah, I know.”
About an hour later, they came across a vast field. In it, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, hadrosurs, and many other dinosaurs were grazing. They were moving in herds. Overhead, pteranadons flew overhead, circling and diving. Packs of compys ran in between the legs of Brachiosaurs, weaving between to avoid being stepped on.
The group walked out onto the field, admiring the beauty of these creatures. In front of them, a huge Brachiosaur was grazing on a tall tree above their heads. Its gracefully arched neck swayed slightly as it plucked leaves off the tree. It stood on it hind legs, trying to reach some of the higher branches. Then with a ground-shaking thud, it dropped its front legs back onto the ground.
“Wow,” said Douglas, amazed at the sight.
Suddenly, a Spinosaurus burst out of the woods. It started chasing a pack of hadrosaurs. The hadrosaurs panicked and started stampeding, startling the other dinosaurs.
The stampede ran right past them, followed by the Spinosaurus. The Spinosaurus was snapping and lunging at the herd.
One of the slower ones at the back of the herd was swept up in the mighty jaws of the Spinosaurus. It cries pitifully, but its pleadings were in vain. With one quick snap, the Spinosaurus killed it. It quickly ate the hadrosaur, and then looked for more prey. Looking up, it caught sight of them and roared loudly.
