Scarface-The True Story

A T.V. is on which is on a news channel. A reporter has been reporting on the new Cuban Government members.
Reporter: Well, it looks like the new Cuban Government has been issued: Jim Fernandez, Raul Cortez, Omar Rodriguez, David Gonzalez, Joe Suarez, Jeffery Acosta, and Kevin Rominguez make up Cuba's new Government issued by preisdent Frank Lopez.
Tony: What is this, eh? Ju see all these communists?
Manny: Well, get used to it, man. This is Cuba...remember?
Tony: I'm Tony Montana, I could run this stinkin place better than any of those communists. There are three things I want out of life: Money, Power, and Respect.
Manny: I just want money and women. That's all I need right now. But 1 out of 2 wouldn't hurt.
Tony: You're not seeing the bigger picture my friend. There's only place I can achieve those things.
Manny: And where's that man?
Tony: The United States. I heard Miami, Florida is a good place with plenty of money, plenty of oppurtunity, and plenty of women too. We need, a, uh, greencard.
Manny: Don't worry man, I'll take care of that.
Tony: Ok, you do that for me. But, let's wait awhile, get some money, than get the greencards, than we leave.
Manny: Sure, but don't froget we gottta pay Roberto a visit.
Tony: Yeah man. It's been awhile, so let's go.
(Tony and Manny get in Tony's cadillac and start driving down the street)
Tony: How long we been friends Manny?
Manny: I don't know, about 15 years, why?
Tony: No reason Manny, no reason.
Manny: Are you worried about trusting me man? We've been friends for 15 years, partners for 15 years. If you can't trust me, who can you trust?
Tony: Take it easy man. I trust you. You've been like a brother to me. Just remember this, I never betrayed anyone in my life...unless they had it coming.
(Tony pulls into a driveway, and they get out the car. Manny walks up to the door and kicks it open an runs in there with Tony. Tony see's Roberto in the corner and grabs him and slings him against the wall.)
Tony: Eh, Miguel Cruz wants his money! He doesn't like being kept waiting.
Roberto: So he sent his stooge to get it for him?
Tony: Don't call me no stooge!
(Tony punches Roberto in the face and slams him against the wall and repeatedly punches him in the face until he's all bloody. Manny pulls Tony off of Roberto.)
Manny: Calm down...Don't kill him. Not yet. Don't forget about Cruz's money.
Tony: I'm not worried about Cruz. He's soft.
Roberto: You two worthless cubans need to get out of my house!
(Tony punches Roberto in the face again.)
Tony: Roberto, you get that money to cruz. Tonight. I check on the money later. If the money isn't there with Cruz, we come back and pay you a visit. You and my knife are gonna get real aquainted over and over again. I'm gonna carve you up real nice. You got that?
(The two walk out the house into the driveway where a cop is standing by their car. Another cop comes behind Tony and slams him against a fence as the other officer takes out a gun and tells Manny to get on his knees so he does and puts his hands behind his head. The other cop gets Tony on the ground and the cops handcuff both of them.)
Tony: What is this man?!?
Manny: I ain't do nothing man.
Officer 1: Shut up, both of you!
(The officers take them Downtown. Now they're in an interogation room. Tony is alone with detective Conway and officer Maivia.)
Conway: So, what's your name?
Tony: Tony Montana, and you, whatchu call yourself?
Conway: To you, I'm detective Conway. And that's officer Maivia.
Tony: Ok, detective Conway.
Conway: What do you do, Tony?
Tony: A little bit of everything, y'know? I'm good with physical work.
Maivia: Physical work, like killing people Tony?
Tony: Killing people? Noo. Whatchu talking crazy for?
Conway: What were you doing at Roberto's? Do you work for him? Does he work for you? Are you two partners? And why was he all bloodied up?
Tony: Roberto, who's that?
Maivia: Don't play stupid Tony, we have both your friends Manny and Roberto. So answer the question.
Tony: Sorry to disappoint you officer, but I already told you. I don't know any Roberto.
Maivia: How'd you get that scar on your face, killing people?
Tony: Eh, what is with this guy?
Conway: Just answer the question.
Maivia: We have your friends, so it doesn't matter, we'll find what we wanna know.
Tony: I hope you find out what you wanna know and find what you're looking for, officer friendly.
(Another officer walks in.)
Conway: Maivia,Hutchison, get 'em outta here. Put them on the eight o'clock bus to Vice Point. Keep Roberto here.ou can put the other one with Tony so he won't have a lonely trip.
(The officers pull Tony out the room but he struggles.)
Tony: Let me talk to him for a second! let me talk to him.
(The officers let him talk for a second.)
Tony: Ju are the killers! Killing Cuba's economy. Not me, you! You are the ones making this a communist country. And ju are the communists. Next time I see you two, I'm gonna make sure you don't kill the economy anymore.
Conway: Get 'em outta here!
(The officers take Tony to the bus. They're on the bus when a pop is heard and the bus turns and tips over. Bullets pierce through the front window of the tipped over bus, killing the guards and officers. Five men come in the bus and shoot everyones hand and leg cuffs. They release five people including Manny and Tonny.)
Guy 1: Get in that black van.
(The five people on the bus and the five snipers get in the van and drive down to Little Havana. Where they were before they got took Downtown. They all get out of the van into a house. Immediately, a guy walks into the living room.)
Guy 2: You've all been rescued because I need more guys to do work for me so I hade my last few workers break you out. You all should fell lucky. I just need someone who has the guts to take down Cruz. Period. I don't care when, how, or where as long as it's done within this month. I'll give you something of your choice for killing Cruz. Money, women, a car, a boat, anything.
Manny: Could you get us some fake greencards and passports. And an I.D.
Guy 2: Sure, write down the information you want on them, kill Cruz, and we'll have the greencards ready...if we have a deal.
Manny: Yeah man. Definetely.
Guy 2: Good. Anyone else wanna help them take care of Cruz for good?
(Silence.)
Guy 2: Well, than we'll find other work for the rest of you to do for us.
Guy 2: We'll be expecting you two.
Tony: Don't hold your breath...
Guy 2: Don't make me change my mind about you guys...
Tony: Are we through?
(The guy looks at him. Tony and Manny leave. They steal a car and start driving to Tony's house.)
Tony: Whatchu doing man? Huh?
Manny: What are you talking about?
Tony: Kill Cruz?
Manny: Yeah, we easily kill Cruz, collect the greencards, and head to Miami, Florida. I told you I'd take care of it.
Tony: I wonder how you think sometimes. I can't betray Cruz. I told you Manny, I don't betray anyone unless they have it coming.
Manny: Alright man. I can understand that. We'll get the greencards some other way.
(They arrive at Tony's.)
(It's the morning. Tony is on the phone.)
Guy: Get some boys, pick up the ya-yo at 3:00 p.m. I'm expecting two bags. Get it to me without a minute after 3:00 p.m. and I'll double what I'm paying you.
Tony: Ok, I get it to you at three o'clock.
Guy:Good. Make sure you give them the money. I've heard good things about you Tony...I'm not someone you want to disappoint, so don't.
Tony: I keep my word. If that's not good enough for you, than we're gonna have a problem...
Guy: Just make sure you get it to me by three.
(The guy hangs up.)
Manny: You wanna get a beer?
Tony: No now, maybe later. I'm going to pick up a package, drop off some money while I'm there, than the guy wants me to deliver the stuff to Cruz cause he owes him. I'm gonna just go out for now and get the package later.
Manny: Let's go.
Tony: No, you get that beer. I'll get Chi-Chi to come with me.
Manny: Call me later.
Tony: Ok, I call you later.
(Time passes and Tony and Chi-Chi stop at the place. Tony walks up some stairs and knocks on the door. A guy answers.)
Guy: Come in, come in.
(Tony walks in.)
Tony: Thank you. You got the stuff?
Guy: Yeah, you got the money?
Tony: Yeah.
Guy: Let me see it.
Tony: You first.
(The guy laughs.)
Guy: Is this a joke?
Tony: You tell me...do you see me laughing?
Guy: Calm down, calm down.
(The guy shows Tony the two bags.)
Guy: Here it is. Now let me see the money.
Tony: Here it is.
(Tony shows the money.)
Tony: Same time, and no funny stuff.
Guy: What are you so paranoid for?
Tony: Just give me the stuff.
(The two exchange. Tony get's ready to leave when a guy walks in with a gun.)
Guy 2: Drop it.
(Tony drops the ya-yo. Gunshots are heard and the second guy falls to the ground with his back all bloody from gunshots by Chi-Chi. Tony falls back and reaches behind him and pulls out a gun and shoots the first guy. Tony grabs the money and the package.)
Tony: Chi-Chi, let's go.
(Tony see's Chi-Chi is shot in the chest and dead on the foor. He looks at him for a second. Tony leaves and drives away. He pulls next toa pay-phone and calls Manny but Manny doesn't answer. Tony drives back to his house and see's his brother laying dead on the floor shot in the stomach. Tony leaves and goes to a bar. Sad, he drinks for hours. He than calls Manny again and Manny doesn't answer. Tony goes back to his house. Manny walks into the door.
Manny: I'm sorry about your brother...you know who did this right?
Tony: Who?
Manny: It was Cruz. He called angry that the package wasn't there. He said he was going to stop by. I left briefly, got back, and your brother was dead. I called Cruz be didn't answer. I say we kill him now, than collect on those greencards from those guys. We can leave tonight. And I see you got the money still from the guy so we kill Cruz, keep the money, get the greencards, and go to Miami, Florida.
Tony: Ok, let's go.
(They show up at Cruzs.)
Cruz: Hey, Tony!
Tony: I got the stuff.
Cuz: Good, good.
Tony: I got the money too.
Cruz: The money too?
Tony: Yeah Cruz, the money too.
Cruz:That's great to hear.
Tony: You killed my brother?
Cruz: No! Your brother is dead? I'm sorry Tony...
Tony: I bet you are Cruz. Or, you will be.
(Tony pulls out a gun.)
Tony: Goodbye Cruz.
Cruz: Tony, wait!
(Tony shoots Cruz in the chest. Manny takes out a gun and hits Tony with it. Tony falls to the ground. His gun slides across the floor.)
Tony: Manny, what are you doing?
Manny: Well, now that Cruz is dead, I'll take his money, get the greencard, and head over to Miami, Florida. This wouldn't have happened if yo would've killed Cruz earlier. But since you didn't, I had to kill your brother and than blame Cruz. It all works out...Now I can take over Cruz's organization so I'll have Money, Power, and Respect.
Manny: Goodbye Tony...
(Manny pulls the trigger. He hears a click. Realizing that the gun is empty, Tony picks up his gun off the ground as Manny keeps pulling the trigger.)
Tony: Goodbye Manny...
(Tony shoots Manny in the head. Detective Conway and Officer Maivia run in as Tony pulls the trigger shooting both of them. Tony grabs the suitcase full of money, leaves and collects the greencards, than drives to the airport. He get's on a plane and leaves to Miami, Florida to achieve the three things he wants: Money, Power, and Respect. He not only leaves for those three things but more importantly to pursue The American Dream.
(1 year Later)
(Tony is eating at a resteraunt when a guy walks over to him.)
Guy: Hi.
Tony: Hi.
Guy: Don't remember me?
Tony: No, who are you?
Guy: It's me! Roberto.
(Roberto takes out his gun and shoots Tony in the chest and walks away.)
(A T.V. is on and a reporter is talking.)
Reporter: Today, a Cuban man was shot in a small Cuban resteraunt in Miami, Florida. He was wanted in Cuba but escaped and some how managed to get into the United States without police detection. His name was Tony Montana but the world will remember him by another name...Sarface.
(The T.V. fades out...)
