Ben The Flooder Slayer - Season 1 Guide
    By beno_yo

Ben the Flooder Slayer stared as an original spin-off to the hit fan-fiction series, “Site Wars,” written by Vader.

The star and author, beno_yo, took his role to the next level and beyond in becoming a ‘flooder slayer’ or ‘Administrator.’ He based his stories off of episodes of the critically acclaimed hit Television show, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer.”

“It always attracted me. Maybe it was the fact that it’s Sarah Michelle Gellar running around staking vampires, or maybe it’s the fact that I’ve always been a “Buffy” fan.” Says series creator Ben.

How do you bring a world like “Buffy” to life on the Internet yet keeping it true to “Site Wars” and “Jurassic Park”? Ben states that it’s one of the more harder things to do, but it can be done.

“You just have to know what your writing about and who your writing it to. A lot of the fans were disappointed due to the lack of dinosaur activity in the first season. They will definitely be satisfied with season 2. I guarantee it. I have so many surprises in store for season 2.”

    A WALK THROUGH SEASON 1…

Season 1 – The stage was set, and was given to the world. Now we’re going to walk down every episode in season 1 and summarize it.

    Episode 1x00 – The Beginning.

This was the real stage setter. Transitioning from “Site Wars” into a “Buffy” style. This introduced the Slayer, Ben Summers, his watcher, Dan Finkelstein, Wife Becky Summers, their Son Rivvir Summers and Ben’s friends since high school, Ice Masterson and Anya Doe – Masterson. This episode also introduced Brad, Ben’s future watcher, Bob Klein (moderator), Vader (flooder that helps Ben), and SGD and Max were introduced as the Big Baddies, along side the Master, who remained un-filled by someone from the board, much like Rivvir’s character.

    Episode 1x01 – Christmas Slay

This episode was the first ever in the weekly series. It was the Christmas episode at that. In this episode Ben is faced with the challenges of his life of coming back from the dead and dealing with Rivvir wanting to become the slayer. This was also the episode that we start to figure out that Ice and Anya are starting to get more serious into their relationship. This episode also introduced the first ever dinosaur into the season…and the only one.

    Episode 1x02 – Becoming, Part 1

In the beginning of the episode we see the actual death scene of Ben. I used “Buffy’s Death” from the last episode on the WB. I thought that moment was very right and it worked for this episode as well. It worked in more into when Ben was being resurrected and couldn’t get out of the coffin. This episode introduced Shane Guptom as the new baddie. Shane is an evil God-like being. This time around he came as a human. I felt this was a much darker episode because of Shane practically killing Becky, who was at the time cheating on her husband with his watcher. But the story gets explained in…

    Episode 1x03 – Becoming, Part 2

The start of this episode was Shane continuing to ‘kill’ Becky. This episode also introduced a character that would change everyone’s lives in the series, Seth Rex. It also introduced a new flooder, Flooder31. I had Ben getting drunk because he knew something was up with Becky and why not go get wasted? He realizes something was wrong and rushes in to do battle with Shane once more, but learns that true evil cannot ever be defeated. Ben opens himself up to his friends and a true development to Ice is seen. We also learn that Ben isn’t being as honest as he is frequently with Para, whom is introduced earlier. The Master arises and is hell-bent on revenge on Ben, and his timing couldn’t be better. Ben looses his wife, but learns that she is some sort of angel helping him in his battles. The evil is thrown over and the gang celebrates, but Ben is saddened to learn his Son wants to go away with Dan and become a Watcher. Ben let’s his son go, as he makes amends with Dan on all that had happened in the past. Finally we get to a patrolling and the Slayer sees his former friend, yet a foe, Vader, leaving. They know that they will see each other again, but don’t know when. Ben meets the group at the Bronze, the local bar area and are introduced Seth Rex, whose identity is a complete secret.

    Episode 1x04 – Vader

In this episode, Ben learns more about being the Slayer from his angelic, somewhat of an ex-wife. Ben sees a man being attacked by a flooder. After killing the flooder, Hitler, the man identifies himself as Brad Giles, of the Watcher’s Council and was sent to be Ben’s new watcher. After learning all this Ben heads to the bronze with Brad, but his un-known enemy, Flooder31 was watching and comments about the master…but not the real one…he is talking of his master, who is still unknown. At the Bronze Brad got to know Ben better with paperwork. Ben spots Para as a sign of relief and the two dance. Anya and Ice met with Brad and talked. By know we know that Anya and Ice are engaged to marry. At the thought of getting the same question asked, Para says yes…to moving in with Ben. We go back to the house with the gang and are disrupted by a friend of Rivvir’s who had been attacked by Flooder31. After a fight between Flooder31 and Ben, Vader breaks up the fray. Brad instructs Ben to kill Vader, but Ben explains that Vader is not a full flooder. An ambulance was called for the boy, Raptor Hunter, and when it arrived, Ben asked where it was going, and saw Seth Rex sitting in the driver’s seat. He recognized him and merely talked to him, but then his face morphed into Flooder31’s face. Flooder31 threw a dagger out the window and it landed in Ben’s shoulder. Flooder31 took off with the ambulance and Raptor Hunter and Anya, who had slipped in the back to help the boy. After a while of tracing back to where to go, the gang heads out and starts off for war. Ben learns that Shane is trapped in a spirit world, waiting to be released. Ben throws a stake at the mirror, in which Shane is trapped, only to realize that the rage of the slayer was what was needed to set Shane free. Shane is released and instructs Flooder31 to get servants, that they will shut down the world permanently.

Episode 1x05 – Lie To Me

After being rescued, Anya sits with Raptor Hunter in the hospital. A teary moment with her and Ice follows. At Ben’s house Para sneaks out and lets a flooder feed on her. Seth Rex goes to the high school to get Rancor and Dino-Snore. After a small fight, Seth takes them back. Ben and Para have a small discussion and then Para heads up to bed and Ben heads to the Magic Box, a shop that Dan made, completed with a training center for Ben, Brad had taken over it, and Anya is the Assistant Manager. Brad hires in a sorceress named Tara. After meeting with Brad in his office, Ben is informed by Anya that Seth Rex came in the shop. Ben grabbed a wooden stake and forced information out of Seth Rex. Seth could prove that Para was feeding to Flooders. This enraged the Slayer and was ready to kill Seth. Seth wanted to become loyal because he knew his chance to rule with Shane was unlikely. He now wanted to take him down. After seeing the shocking truth stated by Seth, Ben burns the warehouse down where the flooders live, then is attacked by the group, but they are easily defeated. In the mean while, Tara does a spell that gives everyone a memory of her. Being new in town isn’t easy. Returning home, Ben sees that Para is sitting on the porch with a suitcase ready to leave. Para tells him that she has a mission with John Arnold and must take it. After a cold goodbye, Becky appears to tell Ben to not make a mistake he would regret. Even Becky and Ben have a cold exchange of words and then Vader appears. He tells her to go get Para before he screws up completely. Racing to the Airport’s Helipad, Ben is too late as Para leaves without looking back. Ending the episode is SGD and Max busting down the crypt door to Shane’s hideout.

Episode 1x06 – The Prophecy (Season 1 Finale)

Shane asks the two flooders what they want, but are interrupted by Max busting into dust. Ben shows up late though. Two people are there checking the scene out. It’s Dan and Rivvir. Ben and Rivvir have a small fight, as the two don’t recognize each other. After a small reunion, the two are knocked out and are being prepared to be sacrificed by Shane. Reading up on his studies, Brad learns that once this demon Shane is rising has consumed him Ben will die if he fights him. Dan is met by Becky and she informs him to get the “troops” and that the war is coming. Shane started the incantation but Dan and Brad interrupted it. They set Ben and Rivvir free and Becky once again appeared. She informed Ben that he never died twice, that it was a dream that it was the one time that she had to bring him back. Then she told Rivvir that he would become a watcher and what not. With the final statement of saying that once Shane is killed, things will go wrong, but Dan and Brad would know what to do. This left Ben and Rivvir puzzled, but they went on with the battle. The group reached the graveyard and broke up and fought flooders, leaving Ben and Rivvir to Shane and SGD. SGD and Rivvir Battled. Shane had become possessed by the demon he summoned. Lightning flew from his hands and a bolt nearly hit Flooder31, but Ben saved him. Ben summoned a hammer that could kill Shane, and he did so. Shane fell beaten and Becky appeared. Using her powers through Ben, they banished Shane into a nether-realm. Time paused and a huge green explosion happened in the crypt. Ben’s body fell to the ground. Rivvir fell backwards, and aged to becoming a baby. Dan and Brad picked up the infant Rivvir. They looked for Ben, and found his decaying corpse in the crypt. The gang knew that the battle was over and came to celebrate, but saw Ben’s dead body. Para and John Arnold landed their helicopter and had a third member. The group was immersed in tears from the death. Para didn’t believe it until she saw it. John took the helmet off the third member…it was Ben…but a robot. Para made a robot slayer that way they could be together more often. Going back to the Magic Box, they all met with the Watcher’s Council, who knew Ben died but were amazed to see him alive. They had used the robot as the slayer. Dan took Rivvir and headed back with the Watcher’s Council. Para went back to the house and was crying on top of Ben’s pillow. Ben was in the room, but as a spirit, with Becky. After they reburied the real Ben, Anya and Ice pushed their wedding. After saying “I do,” Ben and Becky started to talk and Ben asked if he would like it there. Becky said he should. Ben replied with, “I know I will.”

    WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

What’s the difference between Flooders and Vampires?

Well, as Becky states, nothing really. Flooders are just more annoying. Flooders feed off the blood of the innocent and cannot be seen in day light or they will explode into dust.

How to kill a flooder – Slayer Style…
1 – Push them out into the daylight.
2 – Put a wooden stake through their heart.
3 – Light them on fire. They can’t stand fire!
4 – Cut their heads off

    How to defend yourself…
1 – Flooder’s hate crosses. They fear God more than anything.
2 – Shine a laser pointer in their eyes. They can’t stand that either.

How A Flooder Can Survive – Vader and Seth Rex’s Story…
1 – To go out in the day, take a blanket and cover yourself, or wear a hat and gloves, and we mean Alan Grant cowboy hat…not some dinky cap.
2 – Pray that the stake is a “fake” wood.
    3 – Avoid fire.
4 – Avoid any kind of sharp object near your neck.
5 – Feed off of innocent people when necessary. Steal from the hospital’s blood supply is a better resource.

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

What can we expect to see in Season 2?

“Well, Everything. What can’t you expect to see? We have to get the slayer back, we have to introduce a new Big Bad, and we have to introduce more people and more things. I have a mini-series set up for time-travel, and Dino-snore is providing a story…so it’ll be a fun season. All I can say is keep your ‘ears’ ready for the HUGE shocker for season 2.”
