Ben The Flooder Slayer - Episode 1x03 Becoming, Part 2

Previously, on Ben The Flooder Slayer…
Shane fell to his knees. Blood was flowing from his mouth and nose.
Shane: Stop it.
Ben: You’re a god.
Ben uppercuts Shane with the hammer.
Ben: Make it stop.
Shane falls to his back.
Ben continues to hammer Shane.
Rivvir: I have to jump. I have to stop it.
Ben: It’ll kill you.
Rivvir: I know. Ben, I know about the ritual. I have to stop it.
Ben: No.
Rivvir: I have to. Look at what’s happening!
They look around. Demons and flooders roam free.
Ben: Rivvir, I have to. There’s not much time. Listen to me.
He is talking to his son, but nothing is heard. With a kiss on the forehead, the slayer leaps off the tower’s platform into the blob like portal.
Here lies Ben Summers.
Beloved husband and Father.
Devoted friend.
He Saved The World A Lot.
Nighttime arose at the graveyard, and around Ben’s grave. He awoke in his casket and tried to get out, but couldn’t break through. The moment kept getting tenser and it seemed like the casket was closing in on him. Ben started to scream.
Becky: Does he know I’m here?
Dan: No, I don’t think so. But we can never mention this again.
Becky: Okay.
Dan: I love you.
Becky: I love you.
They kiss.
Max: Oh, do we have a present for you. You see, the key, or your son, has the power to open this dimension further, and bring back The Master!
Ben: Oh please. He’s long gone…nothing can bring him back. Not even…a…
SGD started to cut Rivvir, with the same knife. The visions of the same incident at the tower roll through the Slayer’s head. Max picks up the book that Dino-Snore had. The Slayer fell to his knees.
SGD grabbed Rivvir and pulled him through the hell-mouth.
Becky: Shane?!
Shane Guptom: Yes. It is I. The true jerk.
Shane morphed into Panos and then back into himself.
Shane: Now I will kill you, the same way HE did us!
Shane threw his hand over Becky’s nose and mouth, gagging her.
Becky moaned, and the pounding from the closet grew louder, as Shane laughed.

DAN’S BEDROOM
*****************
Shane: Ha-Ha! Scream as loud as you can! No one will hear you die!
Shane squeezed harder onto Becky’s nose and mouth. Tears swelled from Becky’s pain filled face. The beating from the closet grew more intense.

THE BRONZE
***********
Ice, Ben, Anya, and Vader all sit at a table laughing. We then see that Ben and Vader have been heavily drinking, where as Anya and Ice have been sipping through a shared glass. To make it seem differently, Ice laughs as if he’s as drunk as the other two.
Ben: Whoo-Hoo!
Vader: And then Para said that you guys…HA-HA-HA!
Ice: What about the time He felt bad about Becky? Ha-ha-ha!
Anya perked up to ‘be one of the guys.’
Anya: Or how she’s having sex with his watcher behind his back?
The laughter stopped, but Anya kept laughing.
Ice: Honey…uh…um…
Ben: What does she mean, Ice?
Ben picked up the bottle of alcohol.
Ben: Oh my God. I’m smashed. Where is Becky?
Anya: Probably at Dan’s! Ha-Ha-Ha!
Vader and Ice just starred at Anya. At that moment, sensing danger, Ben jumped out of his seat and wobbled towards the door. He backed into a disguised flooder playing pool.
Flooder: Watch it chump.
Ben grabbed his pool stick. He broke it over his knee, ala wooden stake. The flooder’s face morphed and Ben rammed the stake through him.
The crowd around the pool table just stared. Ben continued out the door. He reached the outside and ran down the sidewalk. Dan’s house was about 10 minutes away, but Ben put it into top speed.

DAN’S BEDROOM
**************
Becky started to shake. Her skin color went from nice tan to ghost white. SGD walked into the bedroom.
SGD: Finished yet?
Shane: No! Don’t bother us.
The closet door was kicked down. Dan jumped out onto Shane. Shane’s magic power just pushed him off and onto SGD. SGD held Dan in a headlock so he could see what was happening.
Shane: Look at you. You’re just a slut. You’re cheating on your husband…the man that you decided to bring back from the dead. Why, because you missed him? Obviously NOT that much!
A flooder walked upstairs. Flooder31. He stood next to SGD.
Flooder31: Max says to hurry up. Something about Rivvir running loose.
SGD: Okay.
Dan struggled to break free, but no success.

OUTSIDE DAN’S HOUSE
********************
Two flooders guarded the door to the house. Ben was in too much of rush to even fight. He staked both of the flooders as soon as he got to the door. He kicked down the door to the house.
Shane: What was that?
SGD: I haven’t a clue.
Shane: Flooder31, Check it!
Flooder31 ran into the slayer. Ben got up the stairs and threw the flooder down the stairs. He ran into Dan’s bedroom. He jump-kicked SGD in the back of the head.
Ben: Shane!
Shane: Just a second.
Becky has now stopped all attempts at fighting back.
Ben: Now!
Ben charged Shane and nocked him off of his wife. Even the evil god couldn’t withhold the slayer.
Flooder31 ran up the stairs. He picked up Becky and jumped out the window. When he landed he met face to face with Vader.
Vader: I’ll take that.
Vader punched Flooder31 in the face, and took Becky from him. Becky was extremely week. She uttered a word.
Vader: What?
Becky: Ben….
Ice pulled up in his car. They put Becky in and drove off to the hospital.
Ben: What did I tell you?
Shane: I wanted to put your wife in her place for you. It’s over between you two anyway!
Ben: I’m going to love this.
Ben had to remember the spell to conger up the hammer that he used to kill Shane prior.
Ben: Tabula Rasa.
The hammer appeared in his hand. Ben started to whack the hell out of the evil god. The exact repeat of what happened prior.
Ben looked up. He saw Dan’s sword from the crusades. The slayer picked it up and started to puncture into Shane.
Shane got up to his feet. Ben swung the sword and decapitated Shane. Shane’s body fell to the ground and vanished with a bright yellow flash.
Dan got up to his feet.
Dan: I’m sorry. I’m so sorry for all the pain…
Ben: I’m sorry. Everybody’s sorry. I know you’ve been trying to help, but it’s too much. You don’t even know how it feels. How I feel. You just don’t even understand.
Dan: I have been you’re watcher. You have learned what you’ve needed. You obviously don’t need me.
Ben: That’s not true.
Dan: Yes it is, or why else would we be like this?
Ben: Be like this? Dan, you stole my wife! The one person that I thought that ever cared about me, and then you, the person who’s supposed to watch over me and train me. I died. Twice.
Dan: I just got caught up. I’m sorry.
Ben starred at his watcher.
Ben punched his watcher across the face.
Ben: As a friend and person I trust, I love you. But you are an asshole.
The slayer walked out of the house. Flooder31 stood by watching.
Flooder31: Perfect…

Ice and Anya looked down on Becky, laying in the hospital bed.
Anya: Becky, as a Vengeance Demon, if these doctors do anything wrong, I will make them pay.
Ice: Anya, you’re not a demon anymore…you’re merely… Anya…my love.
Anya: I was merely saying…
Ice: Go get her some candy.
Anya: Okay.
Ice chuckled. He looked down at Becky.
Ice: She’s something, isn’t she?
He paused as if Becky would wake up and talk.
Ice: Yeah, I know. She’s just incredible. She makes me feel like a man.
Another pause.
Ice: I don’t care what happens between us all, I will always love you, and Ben, and Dan, and Vader. You all have been there for me for the longest time. And I’ll never forget that. I’ve known you the longest. You’ve been my best friend Becky. I can’t loose you.
Ben walked in through the door.
He grabbed Ice’s shoulder.
Ben: How’s she doing?
Ice: The doctor says that it’s just head trauma. She should wake up soon. I’m So…
Ben: Don’t finish that.
Ice: Yes.
Ben patted Ice on the back.
Ben: Maybe you should go and find Anya.
Ice: Oh…definitely.
Ice headed for the door.
Ben: Ice?
Ice: Yes?
Ben walked to him.
Ben: Thank you.
The slayer hugged him.
Ice accepted the hug and then went out, leaving the estranged couple to talk.
Ben knelt at Becky’s bedside.
Ben: Becky, I love you. I have always loved you. I just…don’t understand. I just can’t stand being here right now. I will find our son, and I will take care of him. I feel like I’ve been cheated. But I know you never meant for it to happen.
Becky moved a little.
Ben: Baby? Come on. Wake up baby.
Becky: Ben?
Ben: It’s me.
Ben kissed Becky on the lips.
Vader walked in the room. He saw the two kissing.
Vader: Well she’s feeling better.
Vader smiled.
Ben turned to him.
Ben: You have no idea.

The next day, General Rancor and Dino-Snore walked to the Summer’s household. They knocked on the door. Ben came down and answered it.
Ben: What do you want?
General Rancor: We just wanted to say we’re sorry.
Ben slammed the door in their faces. Walking away, he went to the kitchen.
Para: Are you okay?
Ben jumped back.
Ben: Great Googly Moogly, Para!
Para: Sorry. Just wanted to check up on you.
Ben: I’m fine.
Para: What are your plans for Rivvir?
Ben: I’ll bust through the hell mouth, again.
Para: I’m here for you. You know that, right?
Ben: Yes. I’m grateful.
Para: Your wife…How is she?
Ben: Fine. She’s awake.
Para: Does she know of, us?
Ben: No. And right now isn’t the best time Para.
Para: I see.
A pause.
Ben: Para, you are extremely important to me. I still love you. I would NEVER do anything to jeopardize our commitment and that prior.
Para: I want to be with you, but I want Becky out of the way. How will I know that when your making love to me, that you won’t be thinking of her, and how you feel bad for her.
Ben: How am I to know you’re not thinking about John Arnold when your with me?
Another Pause.
Ben: It’s trust. I trust you. You trust me. I love you.
Para: …You love me.

VADER’S CRYPT
**************
Ice: What’s up?
Vader: I asked you to come on behalf of me.
Ice: Yeah. What’s up?
Vader: This won’t be easy.
Ice: Vader, you can tell me. What is it?
Vader: I think I’m going to leave.
Ice looked at him in disbelief.
Ice: You’re going to leave the place you love?
Vader: I’m un-wanted.
Ice: Not true!
Vader: How so?
Ice: Vader, please don’t. I already thought I was going to loose my best friend. I can’t afford to loose you. This is unlike you. What is it?
Vader: It’s Ben. And Para. The two of the them again, it just makes me…I don’t know. Odd. I feel like a third wheel. I am a third wheel.
Ice: No you’re not! You are much more.
Vader: Oh, that’s right…a flooder with a soul, or a purpose. Ha! I laugh at that.
Ice: Please…
Vader: I ran into Bob the other day.
Ice: Yeah? So?
Vader: I think I’m moving to UFXN. He needs me.
Ice: And I need you.
They stare at each other.
Ice: So does Ben. And Para, and Becky, and Rivvir.
Vader: It’s not like I won’t ever come back. I just need time away. Please believe me on this.
Ice just starred at him.
Vader: I know. I know you can handle this. You still don’t understand where you are and why you are there, but it will be explained. You need to stay here and help the Slayer.
Ice: You know where you can come back to.
Vader: I know.
Ice: And the wedding. You have to be there.
Vader: I will. I Promise.
Ice left Vader’s crypt, and headed out of the graveyard. On his way out, Flooder31 stepped out at him.
Ice: What do you want?
Flooder31: I know what’s going on.
Ice: So?
Flooder31: I know where Rivvir is.
Ice looked at him. Out of nowhere, Ice grabbed Flooder31 by the neck and held him up on a tree.
Ice: If you are EVEN lying to me, I will kill you.
Evil Grinch came out from behind the same tree.
Evil Grinch: That sounds like something I would say.
Ice: You’re Back?

The night fell like always. Creatures of the Dark awakened to reek havoc on the world. The Slayer was getting dressed for an important date.
He put his black trench coat on, grabbed three wooden stakes and went downstairs.
As he headed toward the kitchen the phone rang. He clinched his stomach. He picked up the phone.
Ben: Hello?
Voice: Good Evening, Mr. Summers. This is the hospital.
Ben: Yes.
Voice: You’re wife is checked in here, correct?
Ben: Yes.
Voice: Okay, well she’s not here anymore.
Ben: What?
Voice: We went to check on her and she was gone.
Ben: What do you mean? How can you loose a person?
Voice: I know sir, I know. Has she tried to contact you in anyway?
The door swung open. It was Becky.
Ben: She’s here.
Voice: Well, you’re supposed to check her out. That’s irresponsibility.
Ben: I didn’t take her. She’s here by her self.
Becky walked in and hung up the phone.
Becky: Listen to me. There isn’t much time.
Ben: Go on.
Becky: SGD and Max are using Rivvir on a ritual to revive the master.
Ben: So Rivvir’s in trouble…must be Friday.
Becky: Rivvir is a key, but there is another. You must find the other key and bring him before them and stop them. Only then will you be able to lock the hell mouth.
Ben: Who is it?
Becky: Feel it.
Ben started to think.
Ben: Ice. It’s Ice. It has to be.
Becky: You are wise.
Ben: Why did you say you’re little on time?
Becky: That’s what I have to explain. I am the figure of what your ideal perfect woman is to you. I was created for you to be happy.
Ben: But how come I can touch you?
Becky: I am very much real. But I am a Goddess. I was sent to the Slayer, to protect him.
Ben: So Rivvir isn’t real?
Becky: Rivvir is as real as I am. Just Rivvir will not have eternal life, like I have. Para has ALWAYS been your true love, just not your idealistic one. I will always watch over you, and protect you. Who knows…maybe we’ll meet again.
Ben: Becky…
Becky: Maybe I’ll come back and help you the way I was supposed to, and do it the way I would really want.
Ben: I can’t do this alone.
Becky: Yes you can. You always could. I’ve always held you back.
Ben: I just don’t want to be alone.
Becky: Be with Para. Don’t worry about the small things, like divorce or anything. Take your chances.
Becky started to ascend. They starred at each other. Ben put his hand out. Becky grabbed it. They both flew up to a Heavenly scene.
Ben: This is where I was.
Becky: I know. I had to pull you back. They weren’t ready for you.
Ben: What am I going to do?
Becky: Your best.
Ben hugged his wife.
Becky: As you once told our son, ‘The hardest thing in this world, is to live in it.’
They embraced again.
Becky: You must go back. Save Rivvir, be with Para. You will find me again. I Promise.
Ben was back in his hallway, the front door wide open, and confused. Para came up the steps.
Para: Are you ready for this?
Ben: More than you could imagine.

GRAVEYARD
**********
Outside of the crypt, Para and Ben stood, looking.
Para: So how are we doing this?
Ice: With help from some friends.
Ice walked towards the crypt with Evil Grinch and Flooder31.
Ben: Where’s Anya?
Ice: She’s closing the shop early. She’ll be here with all sorts of magic goodies soon.
Para: Good. Magic. Something I’m good at.
Ben: Where’s Vader?
Vader: Here.
Vader’s crypt door opened.
Ben: Convenient.
Vader: Unfortunately.
Ben: Dan?
Silence.
Ben: Well it worked with the other one!
Just then a car pulled up. Anya got out of the passenger’s side. Dan got out on the driver’s side.
The Slayer walked towards his watcher.
He put his hand out. Dan jumped back at first, then realized it was a handshake. Dan accepted. The handshake became a hug. Dan started to choke.
Ben: Whoops. I forget the strength of the Slayer is on my side.
Dan: That’s quite alright.
The Watcher looked at his Slayer.
Dan: Well, let’s get Rivvir.
Ben kicked the door to the hell-mouth down. Ben grabbed Flooder31.
Ben: You lead us.
Flooder31 led the pack into the abyss.
SGD and Max were tormenting Rivvir.
Rivvir: You will never get away with this.
Max: Oh, that is so cliché!
SGD started a chant. The hell-mouth started to swirl. The image of The Master appeared.
The Master: Yes, my two sons. Revive me. Bring me back. I shall cause all pain and suffering through the sacrifice of the key.
Flooder31, Ice, and Ben ran towards them.
Max: You?! What are you doing?
Flooder31: This.
Flooder31 kicked SGD down, breaking the chant.
The Master: You fool! What are you doing?
Flooder31 grabbed Rivvir’s hand and sliced it open with a shard of glass.
Ben grabbed Ice’s hand.
Ben: Trust me.
Using a wooden stake, he cut Ice’s hand open.
Ben: Bring your hands together…that’s the only way to seal the gate.
Becky descended to the scene. Rivvir and Ice brought their hands together and Becky pushed the power forward, locking The Master inside the hell-mouth. The hell-mouth sealed. Becky disappeared before being noticed.
SGD ran towards Ice and Rivvir. Vader was watching them, and threw a wooden stake at Max’s chest. Max turned to dust.
SGD continued to run, but was stopped by a kick to the face by the Slayer. He jammed a wooden stake through SGD. SGD burst into dust.

AIRPORT
********
Ben and Rivvir are seen walking towards a terminal. Rivvir is carrying his backpack.
Ben: Are you sure this is what you want to do?
Rivvir: I’m positive. I feel this is the right move, and someone once told me not to pass up the opportunities that come by.
Ben: Really?
Rivvir: Yeah.
Ben: Who told you that?
Rivvir: My father.
Rivvir walked towards Ice, Anya, and Para.
Ben walked towards Dan who was checking the ticket information.
Ben: So you know about Becky?
Dan: Yeah. Isn’t it odd how we all have a memory of her being real, and now that she’s gone we feel as if she died?
Ben: I know. It’s hard to deal with.
Dan: I won’t let anything happen to him. He is going before the Watcher’s Council to be tested on becoming a Slayer. It’s not likely he will become one, but he might make it as a Watcher.

Para: Just listen to Dan. And don’t worry about other people.
Ice: And just remember…no matter what anyone says to you, girls truly are the devil.
Anya: No we’re not. I’m a demon.
Ice: He knows.
Rivvir laughed. He hugged the three of them.
Dan hugged the Slayer.
Dan: Listen…You fight for what is right. You protect the innocent…
Ben: Stop…you’re making me sound like a cop.
Dan laughed.
Dan: You do everything wrong, yet it’s all right.
Ben: I’m sorry.
Dan: Really?
Ben: Yeah.
Dan: Don’t be. I’m the one who’s sorry. I will see to it that the Watcher’s council sends out a new Watcher to you.
Ben: What if I don’t want a new watcher?
Dan: Why not?
Ben: What if I want the same one?
Dan: Ben…
Ben: Why is it so hard to say goodbye?
Dan: I don’t know.
Ben: I’ll call, and you’ll call. We’ll keep in touch.
Dan walked towards the group.
Rivvir ran towards his father. He jumped in the air. Ben caught him and spun around with him.
Ben and a baby Rivvir are spinning outside in a park. We then see them run to a woman sitting on a blanket with a picnic basket. It’s Para.
Ben: Live…for me.
Rivvir: I will.
Dan shook Ice’s hand, Gave Anya a kiss on the forehead, and hugged Para.
Dan: Rivvir, are you ready?
Rivvir: Yes, sir.
The two walked down the corridor leading to the plane.
Ben embraced Para, as Ice did Anya. The four of them walked out.

EVENING
Ben is patrolling in the graveyard, and sees Vader leave his crypt with a suitcase. Vader turns around and sees the Slayer.
They both nod to each other.
Ben heads off to the Bronze and sits with Para, Ice, and Anya.
A figure walks up.
Seth Rex: Sorry I’m late guys.
Ben, Ice, Para & Anya: Who are you?
