Freddy vs Jason Part 3

SCENE 13
The eye of a girl widens, she wakes up in fear.
She is AMY CHASE, 14-year-old girl with brown hair and green eyes and is daughter to RON CHASE.
She gets up and walks out of her room.
In the kitchen we are introduced to her family,
Her 17-year-old sister Lisa Chase
And finally we meet an older Ron Chase
They eat breakfast like a normal family, all smiles and everything except for Amy. She seems a bit disturbed.
CUT TO:
Sara Wilson and her husband David Wilson are sitting at a table.
Obviously they have moved into a new house because of all the boxes around.
DAVID WILSON Jr., 15, greets his parents and leaves the house.
CUT TO:
An older Emily Woods. She is washing the dishes early in the morning. Her husband comes behind her to kiss her.
EMILY
Is he still in there?
DUSTY
I’m afraid so, my son became this …
EMILY
Now maybe if you wouldn’t be so hard on him.
DUSTY
Oh please, go check him.
EMILY
Honey I’m washing the dishes !
DUSTY
Now!
Emily leaves the kitchen, mad.
INT. HALLWAY
Emily knocks on the bathroom door.
EMILY
Honey are you ok?
INT. BATHROOM
JESSE WOODS, 17 is laying against a wall. His eyes seem very tired, he almost can’t sit up.
The sickness is pasted all over his face.
He tries to answer to his mom, but he just can’t move his mouth.
EMILY
You think you’ll be ok for the game tonight?
INT. BATHROOM
Jesse finds the strength to answer this dreaded question.
JESSE
I’m not going.
INT. KITCHEN
Dusty hears this and immediately walks to the hallway.
INT. HALLWAY
DUSTY
Now what in the name of the world does that mean!
INT. BATHROOM
JESSE
I can’t !
INT. HALLWAY
DUSTY
This is not the way I trained my son.
When I used to be in high school, I used to look forward to the game!
INT. BATHROOM
Jesse starts crying, his life is torn apart.
INT. HALLWAY
Dusty starts to shake the handle.
DUSTY
Now open the door son, you got to at least go to school.
After a moment, the door opens, Jesse walks out and goes straight to his room.
He picks up his backpack and leaves, but we remain, we look at the wall, as paper clips tell us Jesse’s career started as a football star and slowly descended as a loser.
INT. ELM STREET-LATER
Jesse is walking down the street as a girl calls his name; he turns around as she jumps on him giving him a kiss.
From the house she came out the door opens. The older HARRY McCoy comes out with a backpack his daughter forgot.
HARRY
HEATHER! Your bag.
Oh, hi Jesse.
JESSE
Hi mister McCoy.
HEATHER, 17 runs to grab the backpack and thanks her dad.
They keep walking close together.
HEATHER
Wait two seconds.
HEY LISA !!!
We pan to the Chase house.
Lisa shows herself from the window.
LISA
I’m coming!
(turns around)
Amy lets go!
Jesse and Heather start kissing while waiting for them.
Lisa and Amy finally come out.
They walk a few houses further.
AMY
I’ll get Meg.
Amy walks up the OSBOURNE house and rings the bell.
HEATHER
I can’t believe it’s been five years that we’ve been doing this house to house routine,
If I would have known I would have become a Jehovah’s witness a long time ago.
Lisa yawns.
The door opens and a hand grabs Amy and brings her in.
LISA
Jesus, something’s up!
HEATHER (to Lisa)
Have you been sleeping well lately?
Jesse pinches her.
HEATHER
What !
I just …
Amy opens the door.
AMY
I think you’re gonna have to go on without me.
LISA
Is everything ok.
AMY
Look, please go on, me and Meg well catch up later.
HEATHER
Ok.
AMY
Thanks
The group leaves, Amy immediately goes back in.
From the far end we can see David Wilson jr. (Amy’s boyfriend) join the rest of the gang.
INT. OSBOURNE HOUSE
JON OSBOURNE is getting ready for work, Amy runs back to Meg’s room, Jon stops her.
JON
Hey are you sure Meg’s ok.
AMY
Yes mister Osbourne.
Amy runs back in the room.
INT. MEG’S ROOM
Amy quickly gets to MEG, 15
Meg is crying hard. After a moment of consolation on Amy’s part, Meg lifts her hair away from her neck. Four cuts reside on her neck.
Amy is shocked by what she sees
CUT TO:
INT. SCHOOL YARD
Meg and Amy are about to join the rest of the group.
AMY
You should tell them
MEG
No!
AMY
Why not?
I don’t see why not!
MEG
(She stops Amy)
In no way must they know!
Promise me.
AMY
All right.
Amy and Meg continue to walk again.
They join the group, greet everyone and Amy kisses David.
SCENE 14
A clock indicates that it is 1:07 in the morning.
We pan back.
We are in..
INT. JESSE’S ROOM
The door opens, his father comes in and sees Jesse drinking a cup of coffee.
DUSTY
You can’t do this every night!
You wonder why your career went out the window.
JESSE (trying to keep himself awake)
I didn’t wonder, I chose to!
DUSTY
Yeah! To do what? This?!
What is it??
Please can you tell me!
JESSE
Nothing’s going on!
I just don’t feel like sleeping.
DUSTY
Oh so you feel like this every night!
HUH?
This is not what I teached you be!
When I was in high school I used to take care of myself!
I knew what responsibility was and that is why I succeeded!
JESSE
Into what ?
DUSTY
Now you listen to me…
Emily comes in.
EMILY
What the hell is going on here?!
It’s one o’clock for Christ’s sake!
Now come on, let Jesse be alone.
DUSTY
You can’t come in and let the boy win all the time!
His mommy won’t be around all the time.
Emily slaps him for the first time in her life.
EMILY
Now you leave him alone.
I’ll give you a minute.
(to Jesse)
And YOU go to sleep.
EXT. JESSE’S ROOM
Emily comes out with a smile on her face.
After a moment her husband comes out as well.
INT. JESSE’S ROOM
Jesse is in his bed.
We can hear the parents discuss.
EMILY (O.S.)
You won’t boss him around forever.
You’re tearing this family apart!
DUSTY (O.S.)
I’m tearing this family apart?!
Try your son for once!
We pan over to his window.
The Window transforms itself.
We pan away.
We realize we are in…
INT. HEATHER’S ROOM
She’s mixing Coke and caffeine and tries to drink it.
After a moment she looks in the mirror, she starts to look like hell.
She turns around and looks at her back, it is red from her standing up so much.
She gives in and lays on her bed, she drags a knife from under her pillow.
As time passes and it gets darker, Heather falls asleep.
She starts to get pulled somewhere, it is dark we can’t see where she is going on.
Light comes from the corner, it looks like flames.
Heather wakes up and there she sees her young father drinking beer.
Her house is on fire.
Heather gets up.
HEATHER
Daddy !
He looks at her and smashes the bottle on her head, and she starts bleeding.
She screams and runs across the street, into Freddy’s house.
From inside, the house appears so big, she runs through the corridor.
On a wall a large crack appears.
Heather claims that this may be the way out.
So she starts punching the wall, digging threw it.
When the hole becomes big enough, Freddy comes threw it.
He pushes her and she flies far away.
(note: while we know it is Freddy, he is not much visible. Only by his shadow.)
FREDDY
You’ll die for what your parents did!
He runs to her and tries to shove his knives down her throat.
She holds them away as much as she can, but she is too weak, Freddy plunges it down.
She moves her neck and one of his fingers goes in her shoulders.
She screams in agony …
She wakes up screaming as the camera pans away.
Her shoulder is bleeding intensively, the blood gushes all over the place. She finally reaches over for her knife.
We cut to :
INT. HOSPITAL
Many doctors are carrying Heather to a hospital room.
Her father runs after them screamingthat he knows his daughter didn’t try to kill herself.
SCENE 15
INT. DAVID’S ROOM
David gets up from his bed; he peeks through the slightly open door.
DAVID’S P.O.V.
His mother, SARA WILSON,
An alcoholic is taking on her routine of drinking.
She picks up the phone and dials a number.
As it answers, Sara accuses her husband of adultery and hangs up.
She turns around to David’s room, opens the door.
SARA
You’re not going to school tomorrow.
DAVID
Why?
SARA
You must come with me some place.
DAVID
No!
SARA
I’m telling you not to go.
SCENE 16
INT. AMY & LISA’S ROOM
Amy is hearing ambulance sirens, while her sister is sleeping.
She looks out her window only to find the ambulance in front of Heather’s house.
She immediately runs out on the street, but the ambulance has disappeared.
She suddenly hears the familiar rhyme…
Amy turns around.
1,2 freddy’s coming for you, 3,4, better lock your door…
Amy starts to scream.
She wakes up safely from that dream.
Amy wakes her sister in a rush before she gets in danger.
After Lisa wakes up, Amy timidly starts to talk about Meg’s neck.
SCENE 17
INT. CHASE HOUSE - THE NEXT MORNING
Lisa and Amy are waiting for Heather and Jesse to arrive.
Amy spots Jesse walking and stopping in front of his girlfriend’s house.
Amy and Lisa leave the house and run to Jesse.
Jesse, however, doesn’t bust a move.
AMY
Hey Jessie, is Heather there?
(Jesse doesn’t move)
Is she all right?
(Laughing)
Because I had this weird dream last night.
I dreamt an ambulance was in front of
Heather’s last night and these two…
Jesse roughly turns around.
JESSE
WHAT DID YOU SAY?!
Jesse’s eyes are flooded with tears, his eye pockets are almost green, and he looks scary.
Amy screams, Lisa holds her sister.
JESSE
Heather is in the hospital.
AMY and LISA
What?
JESSE
She got stabbed somehow.
The doctors think it’s a suicide attempt, but I won’t believe it.
It doesn’t make sense, why would she try to kill herself?
AMY
Come on you know she didn’t try to kill herself.
Jesse, look at me…
I know Heather didn’t try to kill herself.
JESSE
How do you know?
LISA
Hey we have to get Meg, it’s late!
CUT TO :
They ring the bell at Meg’s house.
Meg comes out, nothing unusual this time.
They keep walking expecting David to show up but he doesn’t.
AMY
What’s taking David so long?
LISA
Don’t you think we should check out his house.
JESSE
Are you crazy?
David isn’t worth putting up with his mother.
LISA
Hey!
She’s been through a lot.
They start to get more worried, but they go to school anyway.
Cut to:
Amy and Meg finish their lunches and are about to join the rest of the group.
As they are all together, they go on about normal subjects, but Amy stops them.
AMY
We know what happened to Heather.
(They are all silent)
Look!
(She lifts up Meg’s hair)
MEG
What are you doing!
(But everyone saw her scar on her neck)
Suddenly Jesse comes forward and lifts up his sleeve; a large burn dominates his arm.
Lisa slightly lifts her shirt a long scar is on her stomach; Amy shows the back of her hand is also cut.
JESSE
We’ve been in denial too long.
LISA
What about David?
He’s missing too.
AMY
Are we gonna wait until this goes too far
JESSE
What’s the legend?
LISA
The what?
MEG
You know the legend… The legend of Elm street
JESSE
Tell me again
AMY
I don’t see where this is going
JESSE
Tell it!
AMY
What’s the point?
JESSE
Amy, Listen to what Meg has to say
MEG
His name is Frederic Krueger, mostly called Freddy.
He used to strangle children on Elm St.
One night the parents found out and burned him alive.
He swore he would come back to get their children,
The Elm Street children.
LISA
But we are the Elm street children.
MEG
Exactly.
AMY
Come on my father’s a cop. He would have told us,
There’s no records of this.
MEG
Oh, Does your father keep records of the crimes he commits?
LISA
Shut up! My dad didn’t burn that poor bastard.
MEG
Don’t be mad, all our parents participated.
JESSE
Now what the hell do we do about it?
LISA
Ok, ok let me get this straight.
Our parents burned this evil man and now
He’s the one who is haunting our dreams?
This is crazy.
AMY
I’m sorry sis, but that doesn’t sound crazy.
In fact it doesn’t sound crazy at all.
If getting scars from your dreams doesn’t sound crazy, then neither does this.
LISA
Why didn’t you tell us sooner?
MEG
What was the point? It’s only been a couple of weeks since this started.
JESSE
I’m sorry but I won’t pay for what they did.
LISA
So what do we do?
MEG
If we leave town , we won’t be Elm St. kids anymore, will we?
JESSE
Hey that’s not a crazy theory.
LISA
Flee town?
AMY
I wouldn’t mind.
JESSE
So how do we do this?
I’ll check Heather at the hospital and tell her.
AMY
I’ll check up on David and tell him about it.
JESSE
So we won’t have to deal with this anymore?
LISA
Ok, Where to go?
The group is silenced.
MEG
Why not go to Camp Crystal Lake?
LISA
The abandoned camp?
MEG
It’s deserted; we could stay there for a while.
LISA
that’s perfect.
JESSE
As soon as Heather recovers, we’ll leave.
I’ll take my dad’s car, pick up all of you and we’re out of here.
AMY
Oh my god I can’t believe were doing this!
LISA
Jesse forget your plan.
JESSE
What? Why?
LISA
My dad is a cop, if he catches all of us in a stolen car our plans go to hell.
If he catches his daughters fleeing town we’ll be forced to suffer forever.
MEG
She’s right
JESSE
Your suggestion?
LISA
You guys carry out your plan and I’ll steal my dad’s car and me and
Amy will meet up with you guys later.
JESSE
That’s your plan?!
LISA
If we get caught, you don’t.
JESSE
That’s sweet, but we couldn’t leave you here.
MEG
You all know where Carolco gas station is?
AMY
That’s a bit far from here.
MEG
It’s on the way to the camp.
LISA
Yeah, we’ll meet you there!
So I dump my dad’s car there and we do the rest of the trip
in Jesse’s car.
WE FADE OUT…
