Come What May Part 6 (Last Part) By aragorn_8
“What about him?” Robyn asked, noticing the tone of voice. “Last night, he was in his house when he had an appendix attack.” “Oh God!” Robyn covered her mouth with her hand. “No, he’s alright. He’s out of the hospital now, and they never had to take it out because it died down afterwards.” “Is he alright?” “He’s fine. He’s at my house right now, actually.”
Later that day, Rick, Robyn, and Jacob were walking down a dirt road, talking and laughing. All of a sudden, Jacob felt a sharp pain in his stomach and clutched, but at the same time, try to hide it. It was too late, Robyn had seen. “Jacob, something wrong?” “No.” he said, trying not to let the pain show in his voice. “It’s happening again, isn’t it?” Robyn asked, frightened. “No.” Jacob lied. “Come on, we have to get him to the hospital.” Rick tried to grab Jacob’s arm, but he pulled away. “No!” “You could die!” Robyn yelled. “If you wait too long to get it looked at, your appendix could explode and kill you!” “I don’t care.” sweat was starting to form on Jacob’s face. “Why don’t you want to go to the hospital?” “Because I’ll be spending my last free time here, in the hospital, having surgery done, and not with you.” he said with sincerity. “I’ve only got a few days left and I want to be with you. I may never see you again after this. Or it may be many years.” “Awww.” Robyn said, smiling, clutching her chest where her heart is. “But still, you’re going to the hospital.” “No, I’m not!” Jacob yelled. He then stood up straight. “See, I’m better.” “Jacob!” Robyn said. “I am, look, I can even walk.” Jacob started walking and as he did, inside his closed mouth, he was biting his tongue so hard, it was starting to bleed. He had to ignore the pain. Robyn and Rick followed, but keeping a close eye on Jacob. After about an hour, the pain went away.
The music from I’ll Never Brake Your Heart plays as a montage of scenes are shown: Jacob packing up his room and placing stuff in boxes. Moving trucks coming and loading up. Moving trucks driving off. Jacob, Justin, and Rick hanging out at the mall. Jacob and Robyn hanging out at the mall. Jacob and Robyn kissing. Jacob, Justin, and Rick having their own little party in Jacob’s hotel room. Jacob saying good-bye to Justin and Rick, shaking their hands.
Jacob was on a dock, a ship behind him. His parents were already on, finding their room. Jacob stood, facing Robyn. “Look, no matter how far away I am, I will always Love You. I want you to know that.” Jacob said, holding Robyn. “And I will always Love You.” Robyn said.
*Start of COME WHAT MAY *
JACOB Never knew I could feel like this Like I've never seen the sky before I want to vanish inside your kiss Every day I love more and more Listen to my heart, can you hear it sing Telling me to give you everything Seasons may change, winter to spring But I love you until the end of time
Come what may Come what may I will love you until my dying day
ROBYN Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace
BOTH Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste
Robyn: It all revolves around you
BOTH: And there's no mountain too high No river too wide Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side Storm clouds may gather And stars may collide
JACOB But I love you
ROBYN (I love you)
JACOB until the end
ROBYN Until the end
BOTH of time
Come what may Come what may I will love you until my dying day
Oh, come what may, come what may I will love you,
ROBYN I will love you Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
BOTH Come what may Come what may I will love you until my dying day.
Tears started to come to their eyes and they hugged each other and kissed and then hugged again as Robyn cried on Jacob’s shoulder. He patted her head. Suddenly the boat whistled. “Look, I’ve got to go. I’ll call you when I get up there.” “Bye.” Robyn said through tears. It took all of Jacob’s strength to turn and walk up the ramp and when he got to the top, he turned and looked at Robyn as she waved bye, still crying. Jacob waved bye, and then the ramp was pulled up and blocked his view. Jacob quickly ran up on deck and by the time he got to the top, he saw that the boat had left and the dock was behind him now. He ran to the back and could barley make out a figure standing on the dock. Jacob looked up at the sky and saw that it was cloudy. Almost as if God was sad that he was leaving. It started to rain at that second, but Jacob didn’t care. He continued to stare back at the dock, back at Newfoundland as the boat went away from it. Went away from his home. His life. He finally let the tears come as he broke down, crying. He felt a hand on his shoulder and he turned and saw the Ship’s Captain. He turned back and cried as he looked at the dock and Newfoundland slowly getting further and further away. The boat dragging him further and further away from Robyn. *Start of I HOPE YOU HAD THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE*
CAPTAIN
Another turning point A fork stuck in the road Time grabs you by the wrist Directs you where to go So make the best of this test And don't ask why It's not a question But a lesson learned in time It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life
During this song, Jacob had flashbacks of what happened earlier that year: Flashbacks of watching Robyn and Shane, jumping off the Kazebo, getting chased by the Tappers, asking Robyn out, having a great time with Robyn, the war of the schools, the strike, the dog chain, the two birthday parties, the theatre, smiling faces of all his friends, Joline pushing him into a locker, the slow dancing with Robyn, his appendix attack, and other various flashbacks. It just made him cry harder.
CAPTAIN So take the photographs And still frames in your mind Hang it on a shelf of Good health and good time Tattoos of memories And dead skin on trial For what it's worth It was worth all the while It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life
It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life
Jacob snapped back to reality. He looked down into the ocean and took out a coin. He made a wish and flung the coin down into the ocean. At that moment, part of the sun broke through and shined down. As the music faded away, the captain turned Jacob back in the other direction and started to walk him inside. “Come on in, you’re going to catch a cold out here.” Still crying, Jacob went inside.
Down in the ocean, the coin was still floating down, and it appeared to wink as a sun ray shined off of it.
CAPTAIN’S VOICE (Slowly turning into Jacob’s)
It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life.
THE END
JACOB’S VOICE
It's something unpredictable But in the end is right I hope you had the time of your life.
The coin hit off a rock and fell to the bottom of the ocean.
EPILOGUE
Robyn was in her room during the fall. School had started up and she looked out her window as night was coming. The trees were different colours. The wind was picking up strength and a leaf fell from a tree.
*Start of BIG BIG GIRL* ROBYN I'm a big big girl in a big big world It's not a big big thing if you leave me but I to to feel that I to to will miss you much miss you much... It’s now during the day, and it’s a gray day and raining. Robyn is walking down the street in the rain, kicking a rock.
ROBYN Outside it's now raining and tears are falling from my eyes why did it have to happend why did it all have to end
She’s back inside, thinking about the past, various flashbacks pop up throughout the rest of the song.

She wipes the tears from her eyes as she sighs and turns away, leaving her room, closing her door behind her.
