In JP, the triceratops' sickness is supposedly caused by berries ingested with stones for use in their gizzards. Apparently the writers were unaware that ceratopsians did not have gizzards. (From: 'Rancor')

    Jurassic Park Zero Part 2
    By Vito_The_White

As the backdoor started hissing shut, Carlos backed up, talking into his headset. “Ed, what’s going on?”
“Some kind of defence mechanism.” Regis said over the headset as the last door slammed shut, trapping the three people in the hall. “We must have triggered it when we opened the door.”
    “Can you bypass it?”

“Working on it.” Regis' fingers started flying over the keyboard again. Suddenly a beeping noise filled the control room and Regis looked to one of the many computer screens and saw the words ‘Weapon systems activated’ flash on one of the screens.
    “Oh no.” He whispered.
“Can’t you open that door?” Nedry asked.
    “I’m trying!” Regis yelled back.

Inside the cut off hall, Miguel turned and heard a whining noise. Suddenly he saw a bar of light forming at the end of the hall. “What’s that?”

“Mr. Regis, you’ve got to hurry, you’ve got to get them out of there!” Arnold urged.
“I’m going as fast as I can!” Regis screamed

In the hall, the bar of light went across from one wall to the other, and then shot forward, heading towards the three InGen SF members.
Just as it reached Miguel, Carlos dropped to the floor and pulled Miguel down with him, but it was too late, the beam had just reached him and had sliced off the fingers of one of his hands.
The beam continued on towards Bob Morris, who was too panicked to move.

“Something’s killing them in there!” Arnold yelled above the beeping noise.

“Ahhhh!” Miguel held up his fingerless hand, screaming.
“Bob, I need your help!” Carlos shouted. He saw Morris was standing out of the corner of his eye, but he didn't answer. “Bob!” He screamed.
He looked up just in time to see the bar of light disappear right before hitting the far door.
He then turned back to Morris and saw he was standing perfectly still. Suddenly a small line of red appeared on his neck and started going from one end to the next. Then his head wobbled and slid down, falling off his neck and to the floor.
His body soon fell down afterwards.
“Oh God!” Carlos gasped. Then he looked down at Miguel Cruz's shaking body. “Just remain conscious.” He ordered with sympathy in his voice.

“I’m almost there!” Regis shouted from his console.
    “Open the door!” Maria yelled.
    “I’m trying!”
    “Well try harder!” Wu shouted.

“Come on, it’s coming back!” Carlos shouted as he helped Miguel to his feet. The bar of light appeared again and started heading at the two soldiers as they backed up quickly.
Then, just before it reached them, Carlos jumped up and grabbed a couple bars on the roof, bringing his feet straight up as well.
Miguel jumped as well, but at the same time that the bar of light jumped up, going right through the middle of his body.
He fell to the floor and fell apart.
Carlos pulled himself closer to the roof as the line continued upward and forward.
It sliced through his belt and knife, burning it in half and causing it to fall to the floor. Once the bar of light had passed, Carlos jumped back to the floor and started backing up towards the door.
He reached the door just as the bar of light shot out again, going faster then ever.

“Got it!” Regis shouted as there was a ding noise.

Inside the hall, the door opened, but before Carlos could go through, the bar of light reached him, but instead of going through him, grew into a wall of light, full with grids on it.
    "Shit!" Carlos said.
It burned through him, burning the grid on him. The light disappeared again and little chucks of Carlos' body started falling away and to the floor, and before long, his entire body was literally in pieces on the floor, just as the door opened.

In the computer room, Nedry, Arnold, Wu, Maria, and Regis stood by the door, their mouths dropped open in disgust at the dead bodies inside the hall. The door at the other end of the hall also whooshed open.
Regis was in shock and more afraid then he had ever been in his life. “Lets do it.” Regis said in a shaking voice, gulping.
    "Ok." Maria replied.
    “Do what?” Nedry asked.
“We have to complete the mission.” Regis stated.
“There’s no way I’m going down there.” Wu said.
"That goes double for me." Nedry implied.
“Her defenses are down.” Regis started moving into the hall, forcing himself because he really didn’t want to. Maria followed behind.
They maunuvered around the dead bodies and picked up the cylinder shaped disrupter. They constantly looked back and forth from the two doors, making sure they weren’t closing.
Arnold walked up behind them, offering to help set up the device. They carried it out of the hall and into The Gambler's chamber.

    CHAPTER 4: THE GAMBLER'S RUIN

In the chamber, there was a generator and next to the generator was a giant platform with pillars around it.
“Give me a hand with this.” Regis said as he put the disrupter down. Regis, Arnold, and Maria took it out of it’s casing and lifted it up onto a stand and Regis started pressing buttons on the side of it.
Suddenly one of the cameras pointed down onto the platform and shot out red beams that met in the middle, forming a red holographic image of a little girl.
“Get out. Get out.” She ordered. “You can’t be in here.”
“Don’t listen to anything she says.” Regis told Arnold as the three continued to set up the device. “It’s a holographic representation of The Gambler's Ruin.”
“You have to get out.” The girl ordered.
“Modeled after John Hammond's grandaughter, Alexis Murphy,” Regis continued, ignoring the image. “She’ll try to deceive us. Confuse us.”
“I wouldn’t do that, if I were you.” Lex continued her warnings. “Disabling me will result in lose of primary power.”
“She’ll say anything to stop us from shutting her down.”
Arnold started walking around Lex, but the holograph still looked ahead, as if it was looking at Regis and Maria and their job. Arnold wondered if it could even move.
Regis pressed a button and a power-up noise came on as he and Maria went next to Arnold with a small device in Regis' hands.
“Please?” Lex begged. “Please?” Then she turned her head to face Regis, Maria and Arnold. “You’re all going to die down here!”
Regis pressed a button and there was a power surge, knocking out all lights and power in The Genetics Lab. Lex Murphy faded away.

On the containment units, there were little green lights that switched to red.

All throughout the Genetics Lab, electronical doors slid open. As one door slid open, water flooded out into a hallway.

Back in the chamber, the power started coming on, causing the lights and power in the entire Genetics Lab to come back on as well.
“The surge causes the mainframe to power down for 30 seconds.” Regis explained to Arnold. “The Gambler's Ruin can then reboot if I don’t have her board.” Regis reached over and took out the motherboard for The Gambler's Ruin. “Which I do.” Regis smiled.
    "Thank God." Maria sighed.

Kathy, Rossiter, and Ramon were waiting, sitting around, in their security point. Kathy was cleaning under her fingernails with her knife. Suddenly, the sound of metal being dragged broke through the silence.
“What’s that noise?” Rossiter asked as Kathy looked up. All three turned to the direction of the noise and strained their eyes to see further away. Rossiter moved his head to see around the corner.
Kathy put her knife away and took out her gun. “I’m on it.” She started moving forward, loading her gun.
She walked out around the corner and raised her gun in front of her, expecting to see someone or something.
She scanned the room, but didn’t see anything alive. Then she heard the noise again, from off to her side, and she whipped around, seeing another corner not that far away.
She walked around the corner, and saw another part to the storage room. She heard the noise again, and saw a small canister roll out from around the corner and come to a stop in the middle of the room.
She rushed to the end and went around the corner, her finger tightening on the trigger. Then she lowered her gun as she saw a person in a white lab coat stumbling towards her, using the wall as support. Her head was hung down, looking at the floor.
“Ramon, We’ve got another survivor!” Kathy called back. She turned back around to face the person. “It’s ok, we’re here to help.”
She put her gun away and moved towards the person, who to Kathy, sounded like was growning.
The person stumbled towards Kathy and fell, but Kathy caught the person in her arms. “It’s ok.” She repeated.
The person lifted part of her head and Kathy saw that it diffinately was a girl. Then she brought her head down really fast as she opened her mouth, showing razor sharp teeth.
She bit into Kathy's hand, blood gushing out.
“Ahhhh!” Kathy screamed as she flung the girl off of her, and onto the floor. She jumped back up and knocked Kathy to the floor and rolled on top of her, growning and trying to bite down into her face. Then from out of the woman's feet came two razor sharp claws that came out of her shoes. the claws were retractible and were used to try to slash at Kathy's boby.
Kathy held her arms up, keeping the woman above her away from her. She continusly kicked at the woman to keep the claws from slashing her. “Get off of me!” She rolled over once, and then again, so the crazed lady was on top of her again. As she did that, a set of keys fell from her back pocket and onto the floor.
Ramon ran around the corner and saw the struggle. “Ramon, get her off of me before I stab her ass!”
Ramon reached down and pulled on the girl, dragging her off of Kathy, and he flung her away, and to the floor.
“You ok?” Ramon asked as he helped Kathy to her feet.
Kathy was holding her injured hand in her other hand. “She bit me, man! She took a chunk clean right outta me!”
Ramon took out his Baretta and pointed it at the girl who was crawling to her feet. “Stay down.” He ordered at the growning person. The girl ignored him and got to her feet. “I’m warning you, stay down!”
    “She’s crazy.” Kathy said.
“Come any closer and I’ll fire.” Ramon said to the girl. She started stumbling towards him, snarling. “I mean it!” He shouted as he took a step back.
The girl moved forward some more and Ramon aimed down and fired, shooting her in the knee.
The girl jerked back for a second, but continued to move forward. “What the…” Ramon aimed and shot the other knee, which barely even slowed the attacker down. She just kept coming.
“Move away.” Ramon heard from behind him. He backed up and suddenly thousands of shots fired at the same time, each one digging into the attacker, causing her to fly backwards and crash into some boxes, remaining still.
Kathy was standing there, holding up her high-tech machine gun.
“I shot her five times!” Ramon was in shock. “How was she still standing!”
“Bitch isn't standing now.” Kathy said as she shouldered her gun and bandaged her hand.
Jeff Rossiter walked around the corner, followed closely by Arnold, Nedry, Wu, Maria, and Regis. “What happened?” Regis asked.
“We found a survivor.” Kathy answered.
“And you shot him?” Regis asked angery.
Kathy glared at Regis. “She was crazed. She bit me.”
Ramon didn’t want to admit it, but it seemed like the person was a Zombie. But that was impossible because you only saw those in movies and video games...not real life!
As they talked, Rossiter glanced at the floor and saw the set of keys.
“She’s gone.” Ramon pointed out with surprise in his voice.
“That’s Bullshit.” Kathy said, storming over to the spot where the person had fell.
“She fell right here, and now she’s gone!” Ramon yelled.
“Is this blood?” Arnold bent down to the floor. “It looks different.” He was looking at a bumpy red liquid that was more like gel then liquid.
Rossiter walked over and bent down. “It’s coyatrated. That’s not possible.”
    “Why not?” Ramon demanded.
“Blood doesn't do that untill you're dead.” As he was bent down, explaining, his hands handcuffed behind his back, Rossiter picked up the set of keys in his hand and kept them hidden inside his fist. He stood back up.
Suddenly they heard the sound of claws clicked on the metal floor. “What’s that?” Arnold asked.
All the people with guns raised them up and pointed them down the hall. They saw a man walking on one foot, his other foot bent sideways, both feet had curved claws that retracted.
Regis started looking around them and saw many other growning people who looked just like the one heading at them. They were being surrounded by Zombies! More and more started coming, joining in.
The one that had one broken foot reached them and looked up and snarled. They saw half of his face missing!
“Don’t come any closer!” Regis ordered.
“Oh God, they’re behind us!” Ramon informed them.
Rossiter backed up, trying to unlock his handcuffs with the keys he picked up.
    “They’re everywhere.” Wu said.
Suddenly the Zombie that had disappeared earlier jumped out from behind a crate and landed on Kathy.
"Kathy!" Arnold yelled worried over his wife.
Kathy dropped her gun and reached up, holding onto the head of the Zombie with both hands, struggling to keep her back.
The Zombie started to grown louder, but it was too late, Kathy used every ounce of strength and snapped the Zombie's neck, turning her head completely around. The body fell to the floor and Kathy picked up her gun.
That’s when the other Zombie's attacked.

    CHAPTER 5: THE UNDEAD

Kathy raised her high-tech machine gun and started blasting away at the Zombies that were surrounding them. The others that had guns soon joined in, firing at any and every Zombie, cutting them down in numbers.
One of the Zombies that Ramon shot down stood right back up again and he hesitated before firing, but he ended up firing and knocking the Zombie back down again, just to fire at the one behind.
Some Zombies got back up after having been shot down, others stayed down.
Rossiter stayed over to the side, trying to unlock his handcuffs and Arnold, Wu and Nedry stayed in the middle of all the InGen SF members.
As the people fired, some of the shots missed and went into the crates. Every time a certain crate was hit, a bright light would leak out through the bullet hole, followed by gas.
Maria started firing back and forth, hitting some Zombies, but also hitting the crate. “Watch behind you!” she heard Kathy shout. She whipped around and saw a Zombie almost at her and she started firing at him, flinging him back.
Suddenly the words ‘Unstable’ appeared on the side of the crate as more steam and light leaked out.
“It’s gonna blow!” Kathy shouted above all the gunfire.
“Let’s go!” Regis ordered as they started moving, firing at any Zombie that got in their way or followed them.
Suddenly the crate exploded, knocking everyone -JP employees, InGen SF member, and Zombies, to the floor. Debri rained down on them as a fire roared where the crate used to be.
    Arnold suddenly got a flashback.

    FLASHBACK:

It’s outside, there is a tropical setting and it seems to be extremely hot. There was a gargoyle statue next to a small pond.
“I can help you get the embryos.” A voice said. I have access to surveillance codes, access plans, the works.”
There were two people outside, one was Arnold, the other was a female that resembled Carla Rossiter.

Back in the present, a Zombie dragged himself across the floor, his legs on fire.
Jeff Rossiter saw where the keys had landed and backed up to get them. They were under a table and he was pushing with his legs, his back on the floor. What he didn’t see, was the Zombie with his legs on fire was crawling towards him.
Ramon and Regis were already back on their feet, retreating down a hall of crates, firing back into the room and any Zombie they saw.
Rossiter reached the keys just as the Zombie reached him, grabbing onto his legs. Rossiter reached with his handcuffed hands for the keys behind him, but he accidentally knocked them down under a grate.
He was feeling the heat from the fire on the Zombie as the Zombie crawled up his body, heading for his face. He could see that the Zombie's eyes weren't that of any human. It looked reptilian. And since he was looking, he could also she that the creatures skin was bubbley, like that of a lizards, in some places. Rossiter started kicking the creature -which was a better word for these things then Zombies- in the head, trying to hold it back.
Kathy jumped up onto a platform and aimed down, firing at the Creatures that were rushing at her.

Regis, Maria, and Ramon were on their own, cutting down Creatures.
    "Where is Carlos?" Ramon demanded.
“We lost the others!” Regis shouted. "Gambler's Ruin caused it!"
“Get moving!” Maria yelled at him
Ramon and Maria stayed where they was, firing at the Creatures, but Regis turned and ran to the door, finding Nedry and Wu next to it.
“We don’t know the code.” Wu stated.
Regis went up to the control panel on the wall and started typing in a code. He typed in a wrong number, his finger having slipped. “Shit!”
“Come on.” Nedry urged as he saw more Creatures coming -more then Ramon and Maria could hold off.

Maria suddenly left Ramon and joined Kathy as they both saw that Ramon couldn't handle all of them from their spot and turned their guns, firing at the Creatures that were heading towards Ramon, Regis, Wu, and Nedry.

Rossiter was holding off the fire Creature by kicking him in the head, but at the same time, he was reaching his fingers under the grate to try to reach the keys for the handcuffs.
His fingers caught on them and he pulled them up, holding them in his fist. He started kicking harder, sending the Creature back a little bit at a time.
The Creature backed off, but not before Rossiter got his pants on fire. He started banging his leg against the floor until the fire went out. While he was doing that, he was fiddling with the key, and he finally unlocked the handcuffs, causing them to fall to the floor. His hands were free!
He was about to move out from under the table when he was grabbed by two powerful hands and dragged out. He looked up and saw that it was Ray Arnold!

“Hurry up.” Nedry urged more as he saw the increasing number of Creatures.
Regis' finger missed again and pressed the wrong button. He was under too much stress. “Shit!”
    “Come on, man.”
    “Shit!”
Ramon shot down another couple of Creatures and turned his head to face Regis, Wu, and Nedry. “What’s taking so long?”
He waited another few seconds, then ran back to the door. “Move!”
Regis turned around and started firing as Ramon tried typing in the access code.
“Hurry up, I’m running out of ammo!” Kathy yelled from her spot. Maria was running out also.
Ramon started typing in the code, but glanced a look over his shoulder to see how many Creatures were coming, and when he did, he pressed the wrong button.
Regis shot down another couple of Creatures, when he heard Ramon. “Got it!” He shouted. Then he turned to Kathy and Maria, who had ran up next to him. “See how easy that was?”
The door opened, but on the other side, were tons of more Creatures, a room full! They reached out and grabbed Ramon, dragging him in. They started digging their teeth into him, biting him and ripping flesh away.
“RAMON!” Kathy screamed. She tried to get into the room to pull Ramon out, but there were too many Creatures in the way and she was out of ammo. Regis and Wu grabbed her and started pulling her away, even though she wanted to stay and try and help Ramon, who already stopped screaming.
As they ran, dragging Kathy, Regis punched and hit any Creatures who got in their way. When he hit them, he used his gun as a bat.
They went back the way they had entered, leaving the room behind.

Back in the room, in one of the containment units, there was a banging sound from inside. Suddenly the door exploded outward as a Velociraptor busted out and ran off.

Arnold and Rossiter had been separated from the group back in the explosion, and now they were walking fast, in their own direction.
Rossiter turned off down a side hall, and Arnold went straight, not knowing Rossiter went his own way. A minute later, he looked back and saw that Rossiter was gone!

Back in the computer room, Kathy, Regis, Maria, Wu, and Nedry were pacing back and forth. The bodies of their comrades who had died in the hall half an hour before, were gone!
“Where did the bodies go?” Regis shouted.
"Maybe there's some kind of recycling unit that takes the bodies away," Wu replied. "That is a good possiblity ya know?"
Creatures outside the room started banging on the locked door. “Whatever they are, there’s too many of them out there.” Maria said.
“Whatever they are?” Regis freaked out. “It’s pretty obvious what they are. Those people used to work here!”
“Ed,” Kathy said. “All the people who work here are dead.”
“Well that doesn’t stop them from walking around.” Nedry spoke up.
“Where did they come from?” Regis demanded, his voice shaky. “Why didn’t we come across them on the way in?”
Wu looked at him. “When you cut the power, you unlocked the doors. You let them out.”
They stared at each other for a moment, listening to the banging on the door. Kathy threw down her gun, frustrated. "Now my husband is missing too." Kathy feel to the ground.
“We’re never going to make it to the surface.” Regis said.

    CHAPTER 6: DINOSAUR ATTACK

Ray Arnold walked into a room full of small cages that had the doors ripped off, or holes in them. Whatever had been in those cages before, were out and loose in the facility.
He walked further into the room, seeing more destroyed cages. Suddenly, from down a hall, he heard a clicking sound.
He took a couple of steps closer to get a better look, because there was a mist hanging in the hall. The clicking got louder and louder, and suddenly, from out of the mist, a juvinille Dilophosaurus walking on two legs appeared. The clicking sound had come from its spiked claws.
But this was no ordinary Dilophosaurus. All of it’s flesh was missing, giving it the appearance of being skinned. It had it's fan out, but it seemed to have holes in it. It's feet were also different as it had retractable claws on it's middle toes. It bared in a hoot as it stopped on the spot, looking up at Arnold. There was a part of its back missing as well.
It suddenly broke out into a run and Arnold turned and ran as fast as he could, trying to get away from the rabid dinosaur.
Arnold ran around a corner of cages, the dino right on his trail, a mere few steps behind, and gaining.
He reached a thick door and went through the doorway, slamming it shut, just as the Dilophosaur reached it. Arnold looked out the window in the door to see where the mutated dinosaur went, but suddenly it jumped up and peered in at him, hooting.
Arnold was thankful that it couldn’t get him and turned around, just to be grabbed by a Creature wearing a security uniform, its face was dripping flesh onto the floor.
It was growling at him and went in to bite his neck, but he raised his leg up and kicked it back. It slammed into the wall, but growned and went for him again.
Arnold, without even knowing what he was doing, jumped up in the air and side-kicked the Creature, sending it flying back and hitting some shelves. It crashed to the floor, the shelves falling as well.
Arnold landed and got an amazed look on his face. How had he learn to do that?!

    FLASHBACK:

“Both of you and Kathy are security operatives, placed there to protect that entrance.” Carlos informed him.

Arnold opened the last drawer and saw a pane of glass. Under the glass was a cabinet full of guns.

Arnold looked down at his hands, and then back up. He turned to walk away, but something on the fallen body caught his attention. It was a gun hanging out of its holster!
He hoped to God that it was loaded as he ran and bent down, taking it out of the holster and into his hand. During all that time, he kept an eye on the head of the Creature, making sure it wouldn’t wake up and attack him again.
Then, just as he stood up with the gun, the window shattered inward as the juvinille Dilophosaur jumped into the room, running towards Arnold.
He turned and ran, running around the corner, hearing the dinosaur’s spiked thumbs clicking off the floor as it ran after him.
As he ran, Arnold tipped chairs down, or flung stuff off tables, to try and slow the mutant Dilophosaur.
He reached another open door and ran into the room, shutting it behind him. He turned around and closed his eyes, sighing.
That’s when he heard the growling. He snapped open his eyes and saw the room was filled with other mutated juvinille Dilophosaurs! Some were missing pieces of their muscles, one was missing part of it’s neck, overall, the site was gruesome. One thing was for sure: None of them had any skin.
They all started charging at him, some running, others leaping in his direction. Still others yet trying to spit at him as he ducked. Arnold raised the gun with lightning quick reflexes and kept pressing the trigger, firing shots, one after the other at all the Dilophosaurs that were in the room, heading at him.
When he was done, all the Dilophosaurs were laying on the floor, dead, except for one. It leaped at him, and he raised the gun again and fired just before the Dilophosaur reached him, and it’s head blew apart, blood splattering the walls.
The body fell to the floor and Arnold looked at all the dead Dilophosaur bodies. Then he heard a growl again and looked up, seeing upon a ledge that joined the two rooms, the original juvinille Dilophosaur that had been after him from the start.
He raised the gun to fire, but when he held back on the trigger, a loud click echoed, letting him know the chamber was empty. The Dilophosaur leaped after him and he turned and ran, throwing the gun down on the floor.
Arnold used a fallen chair as a boost and jumped in the air, walking sideways from one wall to the next, in a corner, and swinging out his foot just as the Dilophosaur reached him, kicking it in the head, sending it through a pane of glass, a sharp piece of the glass going through it’s head.
Arnold landed on both feet and walked out of the room at a fast pace.

In an office room, there were papers littering the floor everywhere and there were tables and chairs overturned. Jeff Rossiter walked through a door and into this office, looking around. As he walked slowly around the room, he bent down and dug through the papers and overturned wastebaskets.
Every few seconds, he looked behind him to see if anyone was coming.
He eventually came across one desk that had a bunch of paper and other things scattered on it. Among these things was an ID card. He picked it up and looked at the picture of a girl with long brown hair.
“Carla.” He whispered. He set the ID card down and sat in the chair, opening drawers and digging through them. He took out a piece of paper and started reading through it.
Next to him was a small room, blocked off with glass walls. Inside the lights were flickering, making it hard to see inside.
Suddenly, from inside, a something stumbled and hit the glass wall right next to Rossiter, making him jump. He turned and looked, seeing it was a Creature.
Rossiter backed up, but saw that no matter how hard the Creature scratched at the glass, it couldn’t get out. It growned in frustration, but that didn’t help either.

Kathy McMillan-Arnold emptied the empty casings from her gun and reloaded it as the pounding continued on the metal doors.
“We’ve got one in the breech, and an extra mag.” She stated.
Regis looked back and forth nervously between the two doors as the Creatures on the other side pounded on them.

Rossiter was seated back in the desk, the Creature gone back into the darkness of the locked glass room.
Rossiter was back to reading the piece of paper he had started reading a few moments before.
Suddenly, from behind him, he heard footsteps and swiveled in the seat, seeing a girl walk around the corner. It was Carla Rossiter!
“Carla?” Rossiter asked as he stood up and walked towards her. "It's me...Jeff? Remember?" He saw nothing wrong with her, except that she had a giant grin on her face.
She put a hand around his head and opened her mouth, revealing sharp teeth. She growned as she lunged in for the kill, causing Rossiter to stumble back in horror, falling down, Carla landing on top.
She kept trying to bite him, but he held her off with his strong arms. Suddenly there was a thunk and Carla's body went rigid as she stopped and rolled over onto the floor, motionless.
Rossiter looked at the body, and then back up, seeing Arnold just as he dropped a brick onto the floor.
Arnold reached a hand down and helped Rossiter to his feet. Arnold looked at the face of the girl and got some more of his memory.

    FLASHBACK:

It’s outside, it's a tropical environment. There was a gargoyle statue next to a small pond.
“I can help you get the embryos.” A voice said. "I have access to security codes, access plans, the works.”
There were two people outside, one was Ray Arnold, and the other was Carla Rossiter.
    “But?” The other voice asked.
“But there’s going to be a price.”
    “Name it.”

Arnold snapped back to the present again and looked away from the body.
“Who is she?” Arnold asked as Rossiter bent down and listened for a heartbeat from the dead body.
“My sister.” He answered. He stood up and faced Arnold. “InGen was getting full of themselves. They thought they were above the law, just like my company.” Rossiter went on as Arnold faced him, listening. “My company, Biosyn, are rivals of InGen and they want the InGen technology. We've wanted the technology since we first found out what it was. Some of our people provide information, others do more direct action and undercover work.”
    “Like you.” Arnold said.
Rossiter nodded. “Like me. If those InGen Special Forces members had been more thorough, they would have seen through my false InGen ID. Anyway, there was no way I could have infiltrated The Genetics Lab on my own.”
    “So you sent your sister.”
“We needed something concrete. Some of their work to be able to make our own version of it. We needed the research information of what they were doing, things like that.”
    “What kind of research?”
“The illegal kind. Genetic and viral. My sister was going to smuggle out some of the dinosaur embryos they were developing.”
“So how was she going to make it in and out of here?”
“She had a contact within The Genetics Lab. Someone I’ve never met. They had access to security codes, survialence plans. Everything she needed.”
    “Why didn’t she make it?”
“I don’t know. Maybe she trusted the wrong person. Maybe they set her up. Kept the embryos for themselves. Do you have any idea how much fifteen embryos of extinct animals would be worth on the open market?”
Arnold thought about it for a moment and the answer scared him.

CHAPTER 7: THE RETURN OF ALEXIS MURPHY

Back in the other room, There was a harder banging on the door. Suddenly it opened and as it did, Kathy jumped up and pointed her gun. In the second before the door slammed shut again, she saw tons of Creatures out in the hall, but she also saw Rossiter and Arnold running in the room, closing the door behind them, causing the Creatures to bang on the door again.
Arnold started walking to the back door. “What about this door?”
“They’re waiting out there too!” Regis rushed and got in front of him, stopping him from opening the door.
Arnold looked down the side hall, the one where Carlos, Morris, and Miguel were killed. “What about that way?”
“Dead end.” Regis explained. “There’s no way out of the Gambler's Chamber.”
“So we wait.” Dennis Nedry suggested. “If someone doesn’t hear from you guys, they’ll send back up or something.” He caught Kathy and Maria glancing at Regis. “What?”
“We don’t have much time.” Regis stated.
“You know those glass doors we passed on our way in from the Visitor's Center?” Kathy reminded the others. They all nodded. “They seal shut in just under an hour. If we’re not outta here by then, then we’re not getting out.” Kathy rubbed her injured hand, pain showing on her face. “Lockdown was the only fail-safe plan they had against possible contamination.”
"You only tell us this now that we're trapped half a fucking mile underground!" Nedry was pissed.
“We have to find a way out of this room.” Arnold stated. He looked at the others and got an idea. He turned and walked down the side corridor, picking up the disrupter.
“Hunny? What are you doing?” Kathy asked.
“What are you doing with that?” Regis demanded, following Arnold.
“I’m turning her back on. She'll know a way out of here.”
“That homicidal bitch killed my team.” Maria stated, also following. Arnold went to the spot in between the four pillars and connected the disrupter to it.
“That homicidal bitch may be our only way out of here.” And with that, Arnold put in the mainframe card and clicked it in place.
“With the way she’s been treated?” Wu asked. “I’m sure she’ll be real happy to help us out!”
“That code you were talking about Ed." Arnold said to Regis. “Can you bypass it?”
    “Yeah.”
    “So do it.”
After a brief hesitation, Regis did as he was ordered. After a minute, Regis backed back up to the others. “Ok, this time, if I hit the switch, she won’t be able to shut down. She's gonna fry.” He took out a small remote from his pocket and pointed to a giant button in the middle.
A small camera near the roof turned and pointed at the group. A small red burst of light appeared in front of them, but short circuited and went out.
“She doesn’t have enough power to load up the hologram.” Regis stated.
“Ah, there you are.” Alexis Murphy's voice sounded over the P.A. System. “I take it things have gone a little out of control?”
“Give me that fucking switch right now! I'm gonna fry her ass!” Maria dived at Regis, clawing at him to get the remote, but he held it away from her until she calmed down and resumed her spot.
“I did warn you, didn’t I?” Lex asked.
“Tell us what the hell is going on down here.” Kathy ordered.
    “Research and development.” Lex replied.
“What about the Dinosaur Embryos?” Rossiter asked.
“The Embryos were a major scientific break-through. Dinosaurs had been extinct for sixty-five million years and finally, after searching through resin of tree sap -also called amber- there were DNA remains of dinosaurs found thanks to Mosquitos.”
“How does it explain those things out there?” Wu asked.
“Even in death, the human body remains active. Hair and fingernails continue to grow. New cells are produced and creat electrical charges that takes months to dissipate. If an embryo is released into someone, that person becomes what the embryo is of. This delivers a massive jolt to those cells, creating electrical impulses. Quite simply, it re-animates the body and mutates it at the same time. What you are seeing is a new form of life that is the connection between humans and dinosaurs.”
“It brings the dead back to life?” Kathy asked.
“Not really. It stops the body before it dies and takes over. Leaves them with no memory and almost no intelligence. They are driven by the most basic of needs: The need to feed.”
“How do you kill them?” Maria asked.
“Severing the top of the spinal column or massive trauma to the brain are the most effective methods.”
“So shoot them in the head.” Kathy whispered.
“Why did you kill everyone down here?” Rossiter asked.
Lex Murphy answered, “A Velociraptor Embryo escaped into the air conditioning system. It began infecting everyone down here. The Embryo can change state. It’s almost impossible to kill. I couldn’t allow it to escape onto the island, so I took steps."
    "Steps?" Rossiter asked very saddly.
"You have to understand, once you are infected, I can't allow you to leave."
"Wait a minute." Nedry said. "We're not infected."
"Just one bite, one scratch is sufficant, and then you become one of them.”
Kathy continued to rub her bitten hand.
“I have noticed my main drive circuit breaker has been disabled. May I ask why?”
“Insurance. We need a way out of here.” Arnold answered. “If you refuse to help at any time, we flip the switch. Understand?”

    CHAPTER 8: THE UTILITY TUNNELS

Minutes later, after Alexis Murphy gave them some directions, Arnold and Kathy lifted up a door in the floor, showing a ladder and some kind of sewer system.

A few more minutes later, they all climbed down the ladder and landed in the ankle high water in the tunnel. More water rained down from broken pipes. Regis got down first and immediately pointed his gun out, walking around the corner, Kathy beside him, her gun also out. Maria was close behind.
Behind them, Rossiter, Arnold, Wu, and Nedry walked. “What the hell is this place?” Nedry asked.
“The utility tunnels.” Regis explained. “They run through the entire place for water, gas, and power lines.” He peeked around the corner of a side tunnel, making sure it was clear, and then headed down, followed by the others.
After a few twists and turns, Nedry lost it. “We’ve been here before.”
“No we haven’t, this is the route the computer gives us.” Regis said, pointing to his hand-held computer.
Nedry pushed past him and Kathy, heading back, but Kathy grabbed him by the neck and shoved the large man against the wall.
“Enough! We have no choice but to keep moving because those things are right behind us, you got that?”
Suddenly dozens of hands reached out and wrapped around Nedry, reaching out from the grate he was pushed against, causing Kathy to jump back. The growning and growls filled the chamber. Nedry screamed.
Rossiter and Arnold pulled on his arms, allowing him to escape the Creatures grasps.
The Creatures started banging on the grate, causing it to shake.
“That isn’t going to hold!” Arnold stated. “We have to keep moving!” He turned around a corner and gasped. There were already dozens of Creatures there!
Regis threw out a punch, getting one in the face, knocking it back. Kathy used her gun like a baseball bat and knocked the head off of a Creature.
Rossiter, Wu, and Nedry tried to hold the grate back, but the Creatures on the other side were winning.
Arnold turned and one ran at his back, but he threw his elbow behind him, knocking the Creature back.
The others dropped the grate and ran, the Creatures already escaping. Arnold turned again and saw a line of Creatures heading right at him, reaching out for him.
He reached up and jumped, grabbing onto a pole that ran along the roof, and lifted his legs up, putting them around the front Creature's neck, and twisted, snapping it’s neck, causing it to fall to the floor.
He jumped back down and looked in both directions, finding that they were surrounded by Creatures on both sides.
Arnold kicked and turned, kicking a second, then turned and kicked once more. He then grabbed one by the head and twisted, also snapping it’s neck. “Onto the pipes!”
The others started jumping up, trying to reach the pipes so they could get on top of them. Nedry was the first one to finally get up, but it took him awhile, because he was so fat. Wu jumped up after him making it to safety.
Arnold flipped another Creature over his shoulder and then reached down and snapped its neck.
“Come on, there’s too many of them!” Rossiter shouted. He ran over and helped Arnold up onto the pipes.
Then, just as Regis was about to climb up, several of the Creatures grabbed him and sunk their teeth into his chest. “Ahhhhh!” He screamed as he let go of the pipe and fell to the ground. Maria ran over and pulled him away from them. She jumped onto the pipe and started to climb herself.
"HERE!" Regis gave Maria the trigger for the Gambler's Ruin device. "Keep that!"
Maria took it and finished climbing to the top.
Kathy and Regis started to climb, but not before three Creatures could grab Regis and bite into his arm. Kathy was helped up onto the pipes by the others as Regis screamed, shaking his arm away from the Creature.
He shoved one away and snap kicked another one, up against the wall. He took out his gun and turned, pointing it at the closest Creature.
He hesitated as he saw who it was: Ramon Sawyers. His face was bloody and his flesh was torn in places, but he knew it was him.
    “Ramon?”
He started to lean in close, as if to whisper something to Regis, but then he opened his mouth, showing rows full of sharp teeth and growled as he bit into Regis' neck. He screamed and backed up, firing his gun at the Ramon Creature. He then punched a couple of the other ones before he was overtaken by the other Creatures. Ed Regis screamed as the Creatures all jumped ontop of him and pierced his skin with their foot claws as they dug deeper into his skin.
    "No!" Arnold screamed.
It was useless. Regis was pulled deep into the mob of Creatures and was covered completely by them.

A minute later, Kathy, on top of the pipes, was letting her bitten hand hang over the edge, blood dripping down. Below, hordes of Creatures crawled over each other, trying to reach them, and trying to get at the blood that was dripping down on them.
“Hunny, we have to do something about your wounds.” Arnold stated.
“I’m fine dear.” Kathy said back. Then she turned back to the Creatures below, trying to lick the blood that dripped down to them. “You like that, don’t you?” She sneered at them. "You like the taste of that?"
“She was right.” Maria stated. “We’re all going to die down here.”
“No.” Arnold denied. “We’re getting out. All of us. No one else is going to die.”
They started crawling along the pipes, the Creatures reaching up around the edges, trying to get at them with their claws that was now where their finger nails used to be.
After a few minutes of crawling, twisting and turning, Rossiter and Nedry, who were in the lead, reached a grate. They kicked it in and crawled onto the platform on the other side, followed by Wu, where they could fully stand up.
Right as Arnold and Kathy reached the platform, the piping broke due to the weight from above and below, and the broken part aimed down, clanging against the floor, the top part still attached to the wall. Maria, who was still on the pipe, climbed up against the wall as the Creatures started trying to climb the pipe.
    “Maria!” Arnold shouted.
Kathy took out her gun and pointed it down, but didn’t fire. “What are you waiting for?” Arnold demanded. “Shoot!”
Kathy squinted her eyes. “I can’t focus!”
The Creatures climbed higher up on the pipe, getting closer to Maria.
One of them reached her and attacked her, climbing on top and going for her neck, but Maria used all her strength to hold him away.
“I can’t see!” Kathy shouted, trying to focus.
A Gunshot rang out and the Creature on top of Maria rolled over and went back down into the sea of grabbing hands.
The shot had come from a gun Arnold had. “Maria, hold on! We’re coming to get you!” He shouted. “Just stay there!”
Maria took out a gun from her vest and loaded it with her one last bullet. “That’s lucky.” She mumbled sarcastically. The other Creatures get higher up on the pipe.
“I want you to go.” Maria said back to the others.
“No.” Arnold shook his head. “We’re not leaving you, Maria.”
“Yes you are! You can’t kill all of them.” One of the Creatures got ahead of the others and got even closer to Maria. “I’m not going anywhere. I want you to go!”
Nedry grabbed the already too weak Kathy and helped her to walk.
The Creature in the lead reached Maria and grabbed her foot, growling. “Go now! Goooooo!”
Rossiter and Wu had to drag Arnold away. “No! We have to go back for her, we have to!”
Once Maria saw they had left, she pointed the gun down at the Creature that was grabbing her. Then she turned the gun around and jammed the end into her mouth, sweating as the Creature finally reached her face.

The others were running, but they soon stopped when they heard a gunshot. Arnold turned and looked back. Eyes widening. "My God, no!"
“Come on!” Rossiter grabbed him and they continued to run.

CHAPTER 9: EXPLAINATIONS ARE MADE KNOWN

The Creature fell off of Maria and onto the others trying to get at her. Maria lowered her gun with shaky hands and flung it away. She looked behind her and saw a small tunnel in the wall.
“You’re going to have to work for your meal!” She shouted out to them as she stood up and turned around, flying into the tunnel.

Arnold lifted up a metal grate in the floor and climbed up, into a hall filled with rooms. The hall and rooms were made of shiny metal. The others soon came up behind him.
Rossiter and Wu were helping Kathy to walk, since she was so weak. Part way down the hall, she doubled over and threw up on the floor.

Back down in the tunnels, the Velociraptor that had gotten loose earlier walked through the dark underground shaft sniffing around. The animal then made it's extremely ear splitting, high pitched scream and went running down the shaft.

Arnold looked around the corner, making sure it was safe, and then pointed his gun out as he went out into the hall. Both Wu and Rossiter were helping Kathy to walk while Nedry lead them all on.
Suddenly Arnold stopped on the spot, something inside his mind jolted his memory.
    “Are you ok?” Rossiter asked.
He had got some more of his memory back. “There’s a cure.” He stated, looking into one of the many rooms. “The process can be reversed!
“I was beginning to worry.” Kathy said sarcastically.
They all followed Arnold into one of the labs, finding it half flooded by water. Debris was floating in the water, making it look dangerous.
“This was the embryo storage facility.” Arnold explained.
“How do you know all this?” Rossiter asked.
Arnold decided it was time for them to know since he got some of his memory back. “Cause I was going to steal it.” He turned around to face him. “I was your sister’s contact.”
“You betrayed her and Biosyn.” Rossiter stated, suddenly hating this man. “You caused all this.”
    “I don’t know. I still can’t remember everything.”
Arnold turned to walk deeper into the lab, but Rossiter grabbed his arm. “I want the truth.”
“I don’t remember the truth.” Arnold snarled at him. He shook his arm away and continued walking through the water.
Nedry, and Wu helped Kathy down onto a step, where she sat and held onto the railing for support, while they went to help Arnold look for whatever it was he was looking for. Arnold was going through filing cabinets and drawers.
He found another metal door and pushed it open, walking into another flooded room that was considerably colder. This room had several cases where the embryos and anti-virus was kept, but at the moment, they were all empty.
“I don’t understand!” Arnold hit the edge of the glass case as he turned and stormed back into the other room. “It’s gone.” He informed the others. “It’s not there.”
“It’s over.” Kathy said, breathing harder and sweating more.
“No.” Arnold said walking to here and trying to reassure her. "Don't say that hunny."
Nedry suddenly went still as he looked into the second room.

    FLASHBACK:

Ray Arnold and Carla Rossiter were outside, in the tropical environment, a statue behind them.
“I can help you get the embryos.” Arnold said. “I have access to surveillance codes, access plans. The works."
    "But?" Carla asked.
"But there’s going to be a price.”

Up inside the Visitor's Center that was behind them, Dennis Nedry stood at the window, a set of headphones over his ears and an object aimed out the window. This object allowed him to ease drop on the couple below.

    “Name it.” Carla smiled.
“Just guarantee me that you’ll bring this corporation down.” Arnold stated. They turned and walked their separate ways.

    Nedry lowered the listening device.

Nedry sitting at a table in a resturant talking to Rossiter while they ate.

Kathy and Arnold having sex in the bed while Nedry watches off in the distence smiling.

Nedry writing down on a pad of paper. ‘Today all your dreams come true’

Nedry in a biohazard suit, no one else around, taking out two containers, one is the embryos, the other is the anti-virus.

Nedry back in his regular cloths flung a container with the Velociraptor embryo in it, and watched it smash against a table, then turned and ran out of the room.
As he ran down a hallway, he hit a person holding a cup of Diet Pepsi, causing it to spill on his shirt.
“Thank-you!” The person said to him sarcastically, but Nedry was already long-gone.

    END FLASHBACKS

“Dennis?” Arnold called out. Nedry snapped back to reality and looked at Arnold with an evil look in his eyes. Then his gaze went down to the gun Arnold had laid down, and he saw this shift in his eyes and also looked at the gun.
They both made a dash for it, but Nedry got to it first, aiming it at Arnold, then Wu, then Kathy, and back to Arnold. “We can still make it out of here.” He stated to Arnold. “Come with me. We can have everything we’ve ever wanted. There’s money out there waiting for this stuff. You wouldn’t believe how much!”
"I was wondering when you'd finally come to your senses," Rossiter said smiling.
"You were involved in this too," Wu asked.
“Is that how you though all of my and Kathy's dreams were going to come true?” Arnold asked.
"You didn't ever think that I was a part of this Biosyn thing, did you?" Nedry asked. "Hell, you even thought that Carla was going to turn the stuff over to the police. You had no idea that it was actually a rival company that was trying to get at it."
"My sister didn't tell you it was for Biosyn?" Rossiter asked shocked.
"I don't remember what she said." Arnold replied.
"Then how do you know that you didn't want to do this for Biosyn?" Rossiter asked.
"Even if I did at that time, I don't want to anymore." Arnold replied sternly.
Wu suddenly made a dash for Nedry and Rossiter, but Nedry saw him out of the corner of his eye and aimed the gun at him, stopping Wu on the spot. “Please.” Nedry said. “No heroics. I wouldn’t wanna shoot ya. Might need the bullets. Back off!”
Wu backed up, going back to his spot.
“I won’t take any part in this.” Arnold whispered. "You are a perverted pig. I can't believe you were watching my wife and I have sex. You're a piece of trash!"
“Ok.” Nedry sneered. “But we work for the same company. You knew what they did.”
“I was trying to stop them. Not make money off it like you two for a rival company like Biosyn.”
“Where…” Kathy tried to ask, low on breath. “Where is…the anti…virus?”
“It’s on the train. Where you found me.” Nedry smiled.
Wu was no longer paying attention to Nedry. He was looking at the water behind him and Rossiter. Underneath, Wu saw the shape of a humanoid figure rising up. This was Jennifer White. However, she didn't look herself. She was turning into a Human Velociraptor. "Jennifer." Wu whispered.
“I so nearly made it out.” Nedry smiled. Everyone else, except for Nedry and Rossiter, saw the Creature stand up in the water behind the two traitors, hunger on her face. "Who'd of thought that bitch of a computer had defence systems outside The Genetics Lab. Well Arnold, it's time to decide. In or out?” Nedry asked. "In...or...out?"
“I don't remember if I wanted Biosyn to have the InGen technology.” Arnold replied. “But I sure as hell don't now.”
Then the Jennifer Creature jumped and landed on Rossiter's back, digging its teeth into his neck. “Ahhhh!” He swung around, whipping the Jennifer Creature to the floor and Nedry then started shooting her, hoping to hit the head.
Behind him, Wu dived at Nedry's back, and grabbed him, but Rossiter pulled Nedry free and Nedry then whipped around, pointing the gun at Wu. “Back...the fuck off!”
Nedry and Rossiter started moving around in a circle, Arnold staring at them as Nedry pointed the gun at them. “I’m missing you both already.” He sneered at Arnold and Kathy.
The two found the exit door and turned and ran out, locking it from the other side. Wu ran at the door and started trying to open it, banging on it at the same time.
Kathy looked at Arnold. “Our computer programmer's a real asshole.” She said weakly.
“They locked us in.” Wu stated, turning around.

    Chapter 10: THE VELOCIRAPTOR

“I can’t believe Biosyn's going to get away with this.” Wu stated.
“I don’t think so.” Lex Murphy's voice sounded throughout the room. “I’ve been a bad, bad, girl.”
The others turned up to where the voice was coming from and saw a small screen in the corner, near the roof.

Nedry and Rossiter ran between the pillars at the loading deck for the train with Nedry carrying the gun and Rossiter rubbing where he was bit in the neck.
They reached the train and Nedry ran into the train with the gun, Rossiter went and retrieved the sack with the embryos and anti-virus and jumped on the back of the train so he had room to inject himself with the anti-virus.
He opened up the case, looking at all the tubes of embryos and then the green liquid for the Anti-virus. He loaded one up into the tube gun that was also in the case and pointed the needle at his arm, getting ready to put the anti-virus into his system.
Suddenly he started hearing a clanging sound and looked around before he injected himself. No matter where he looked, he couldn’t find the source of the sound. Then he looked up and saw the Velociraptor come down through the roof, sticking to the ceiling with its claws as it walked.
It looked at him and screeched, a long claw reaching out from its foot, longer then normal and then going back to it’s normal size.
    “Oh my god.” Rossiter whispered.
It leaped down from the roof, heading for him. Nedry saw this and slammed the door to the train shut.
    “Ahhhhhhh!” Rossiter screamed.

Back in the locked room, the others saw the Velociraptor eating and chewing on Rossiter's body on the monitor. Arnold turned away from it so he wouldn’t have to watch.
Suddenly it started vibrating and arched it’s back as some kind of weird spikes shot up from inside it’s back, and on it’s head. It’s tail grew longer and four spikes appeared on the end. It looked up right at the camera and roared.
“What the fuck was that?” Wu asked.
Lex answered. “One of The Genetics Lab's early experiments. A mixture of dinosaur tissues. Now that it has had some fresh blood, it has mutated, becoming a stronger, faster hunter then it already was.”
“Great.” Kathy mumbled. “Why didn’t you tell us about the anti-virus?”
“It only slows the infection. There’s no guarantee that it’ll work.”
    “But there’s a chance right?”
    “I don’t deal with chance.”
Kathy stood up and went over to a wall, taking a fire axe and went over to a window. “Fuck it.” She swung the axe at the window, but it only bounced off, not even making a scratch. She backed up, dropping the axe, and looked at her watch. Only 19 minutes left. "No preasure guys."
Wu ran to the door again and tried using his access card, but it still wouldn’t open.
“You’ll need the four digit access code to open that door.” The Lex said. “The cards won't work if the door has been looked on the outside. I can give it to you, but first, you must do something for me. One of your group is infected. I require her life for the code.”
“The anti-virus is right there on the platform!” Arnold yelled. “It's right there! On the other side of that door!”
    “I’m sorry. It’s a risk I cannot take.”
Kathy smiled weakly and shrugged. “She's right.” Kathy passed the axe to Arnold. “It’s the only way. You’re going to have to kill me.” She bent her back, showing her neck, and moved her hair out of the way, her arms out.
“No.” Arnold shook his head. "I won't kill you. I love you!"
“I love you too, but otherwise, we all die down here.”
Suddenly something banged on the glass and they all jumped and screamed as they saw the Mutant Velociraptor bang it’s head and horns on the glass, trying to get in. It roared.
“The glass is reinforced.” Lex stated. “But it won’t hold forever.”
“Do it!” Kathy shouted as the Mutant banged on the glass again.
    “No.” Arnold whispered. “Get up!”
    “Just kill me!”
“Do it, do it now!” Lex taunted.
“Hunny please get up.” Arnold pleaded.
"Kathy this isn't the right thing to be doing." Wu said.
    “Do it now!” Kathy screamed.
“Kill her! You have no other choice. Kill her now. You don’t have a choice.”
The Mutant banged on the glass again and it started to crack.
“NOW!” Kathy screamed at the top of her lungs.
    “Kill her!” Lex yelled.
Arnold swung the axe back, and then down. But before he hit Kathy, he changed direction and smashed the monitor that Lex's voice was coming from.
Suddenly all the lights went out and doors opened. All three of them looked over at the cracked glass and saw that the Mutant Velociraptor was gone, but then they noticed the open door almost right next to the window and heard the sound of something walking towards it.
Arnold readied the axe, ready for the Mutant. Suddenly Maria Sanchez walked through the doorway and they all sighed, relaxing a bit.
“She wouldn’t open the door.” Maria explained. “So I had to fry her.”
Suddenly they heard a bang and turned, seeing that they Mutant was back at the glass.
“Move!” Maria shouted. They all turned and headed out the doorway, just as the Mutant smashed at the glass again, braking it and jumping through, landing in the water filled room, roaring.

CHAPTER 11: RETURNING TO THE TRAIN

The others closed and locked the door behind them. Suddenly there was a banging sound and claw mark dents appeared in the door.
“What the hell is that?” Maria shouted.
“It’s a long story!” Arnold said. They ran down a set of steps, onto the loading deck, walking the length of it, looking for the train, moving in and out of boxes.
Suddenly they reached Rossiter's body, a giant puddle of blood around it. Beside him was the train. They stopped and looked down at the body.
“Maria, start it up.” Arnold commanded. Maria stepped over the body, onto the train, heading for the front. “Henry, put Kathy onboard. I’ll get the embryos and the anti-virus.”
Wu picked Kathy up in his arms and also walked onto the train. A gun shot was heard as the two entered the train.
    "What was that!" Arnold yelled.
"Don't worry!" Maria shouted back. "We have Nedry in custody now!"

Back outside the train, Arnold slowly reached for the case, but before he could, he was startled as Rossiter's body suddenly leaped to life, moaning and gasping, reaching for him.
The Rossiter Creature started crawling across the floor towards Arnold, who’s face suddenly turned to a look of being pissed off.
“Biosyn can suck my dick!” He brought the axe back and then forward, decapitating the Creature. He then picked up the case and climbed onboard the train, just as it started up.

The train moved through the tunnel, full speed, heading back up to the surface.
Onboard, Arnold was injecting Kathy with the anti-virus. “I don’t want to be one of those things.” Kathy said. “Walking around without a soul. If the time comes, you’ll take care of it hunny?”
“Hey,” Arnold looked his wife in the eyes. “No one else is going to die.”
Nedry sat near them handcuffed and defeated. He stared at them sadly. "What are you going to do to me?"
"We'll decide that when the time comes." Arnold said angrly.

On the other side of the room, Wu gave Maria the same injection.

“Here.” Kathy passed her watch to Arnold. He looked down and saw that they only had 8 minutes left. Suddenly her breathing slowed and she hung her head down.
Arnold looked at Kathy, not hearing any more breathing. “Hunny?” Tears came to his eyes as he remembered what he promised his wife. He took Kathy's gun from her hand and pointed it at her head, holding his breath.
Then, right before he fired, a hand reached up and grabbed onto the gun. “I'm not dead yet. I think I'll have that back now.” Kathy whispered, her voice weak. Arnold let go of the gun and kissed his wife.
Suddenly a giant claw broke through the wall of the train, causing sparks to fly.
Arnold took Kathy's gun again and pointed it at the wall, but nothing was there any longer.

Maria was up in the front, driving the train. “What the hell is going on back there?” She called back.
Suddenly thick claws ripped into the wall beside her and tore the wall out, showing the Mutant hanging off the roof and into the cabin. Maria screamed as it grabbed onto her and went back up onto the roof, hauling her out of the train.

Back in the main part of the train, Kathy, Arnold, Wu, and the handcuffed Nedry heard the Mutant up on the roof as the thumps got closer and closer to where they were. Arnold pointed the gun up.
It burst down through the roof and knocked Wu back. It looked at him and roared, but heard a click sound and turned, seeing a bullet from Arnold's gun head in its direction.
It dug into its head, causing it to roar in pain. Wu took this chance to get up and run further back. Nedry was on the floor crawing toward the front conpartment. Arnold started firing again, and again, and again, hitting the Mutant.
It flung it’s head up, it’s horns knocking Arnold back, causing him to drop his gun.
Wu had ran behind a group of pipes and poles tied together by a pulley from the roof and swung it forward, hitting the Mutant, knocking it back on its side.
It stood up again and roared. It lashed out it’s claw, causing it to grow unbelievably long, and hit Arnold in the head, knocking him back down. Its claw grew back to it’s regular size as it took a couple steps forward.
Arnold stood back up and took a pipe from the bundle and rammed it down, right through one of the Mutant's feet, keeping it trapped on the spot. It roared in pain.
Arnold saw where it was standing: on top of the trap door. “Open the doors!” He shouted to Wu.
Wu turned around to find the button on the wall, but saw Kathy standing up, looking better, but her head was down. She cracked her neck and looked up. Then she opened her mouth in a growning sound, showing rows of sharp teeth as she moved forward and grabbed onto Wu's shoulders, trying to bite him.
After a brief struggle, he flung her off of him and he reached down and picked up the gun and pointed it at the Kathy Creature. She started to move towards him again and he fired one shot, hitting her dead in the forehead, causing her to stumble back and hit the button, opening the trap doors.
The Mutant fell out, but still stayed on the train, due to the trapped foot, the rest of the body dragging on the train tracks below. It screeched as it tried to climb up.
Arnold reached out and lifted the pole up, causing the Mutant to fall out of the train and move back with so much speed and friction, it caught fire and soon became a fireball on the tracks behind the train.
Wu pushed the button again and the trap doors closed. Arnold turned and saw Kathy's dead body and then turned away again, looking at the floor. There were tears in his eyes.
The train docked at the station above ground, at the stairs leading up into the Visitor's Center.

    EPILOGUE: WELCOME TO JURASSIC PARK

Wu, the handcuffed Nedry, and Arnold walked up the steps, Arnold holding the case that contained the embryos and the anti-virus.
On the watch that was given to Arnold by his wife, he saw that it showed that they had 14 seconds left.
They ran up the steps and into the Visitor's Center, just as the doors slid shut, trapping the terror and horror below.
They ran through the Cafeteria and waited until they got into the lobby, at the exit doors, where the dinosaur skeletons were until they stopped. Arnold laid the case down and the three men sat on the floor.
“The InGen corperation won’t get away with this!” Nedry stated. “Biosyn will have the proof they need to bring InGen down and their company to the top!”
"Shut your mouth” Arnold shouted. "Biosyn will not be getting anything, except for a huge lawsuit."
Suddenly the front doors opened and tons of men in biohazard suits walked in, some carrying devices and tools, others were carrying nothing. Arnold, Nedry, and Wu all looked up at them as they all stood over them and took them up and held their arms behind their backs.
“What’s going on here?” Arnold demanded.
None gave an answer to them. They dragged Wu and laid him on a metal table with wheels. One of the men walked over and looked down at him, inspecting his boby. The same treatment was given to Nedry as the handcuffs were removed from his body.
Suddenly, an old man wearing all white hobbled on a cane into the Visitor's Center. He walked over to Arnold. “I want them all quarantined and a series of blood tests done on them. Lets see if they're infected. Take them all to the Safari Lodge and have their memory swipped and replaced to where they won't remember anything that happened. We don't have much time. Gennaro's investigation will take place in three days. I want The Genetics Lab destroyed and the small replacement Lab put into effect. I want those three men awake and going in four hours. I need them for the park's first visitors. Just do it.”
Arnold started kicking the men that were around him, but one of them came over with some kind of gas mask and put it over his mouth, and the next thing he saw was blackness.

Ray Arnold opened his eyes slowly and looked around. He couldn’t remember a thing. He saw that he was in a beautiful hotel room and as he sat up, he saw an old man sitting in a chair infront of him.
"Hello Ray." the old man said to him.
    "Who are you?" Arnold asked.
"Why I'm John Hammond your employeer. Your name is Ray Arnold. You're the chief engineer here at Jurassic Park."
Arnold shook his head understanding. "What happened to me?"
"You took a bad fall my friend."
    "Fall?"
"I'm afraid so. You were trying to go down the lobby steps of the Visitor's Center, when you feel and got a concusion. You're experiencing memory lose."
Arnold nodded. "Yes. However, I now remember everything on up till two years ago. I'm guessing it's because you said my name. I couldn't remember anything until you told me that."
"Yes, but I don't want you to worry about all that. The rest of your memory will hopefully come to you in time. Come with me, my boy." Hammond stood and helped Arnold out of the bed. The two men went out of the room and down the hallway to an elevator.
They stepped into the elevator and went down. They then got out of the elevator and went to the exit of the building. The two stepped outside and to Arnold's amazement he saw a large clearing filled with Brachiosaurs and Hadrosaurs. Arnold was speachless as to what he was seeing.
"What is this place?" Arnold asked.
"Mr. Arnold, welcome to Jurassic Park." Hammond smiled.
