CUT TO:
DODGSON'S JEEP-DAY
DODGSON
"Ed, stop the jeep!"
James obays and stops. Everyone is silent.
KING
"What's wrong Lew?"
DODGSON
"I thought I heard another vehicle. It sounded like it was coming from the other side of those trees."
KING
"I think you're either hearing things or you're wishing you were home where you could hear another vehicle."
DODGSON
"No. I think it's probably someone on Hammond's team." (Pause) "Oh well, no matter. If they get in our way, we'll shot them. Where is the next nest?"
JAMES
"Are you sure that we should continue in this storm? I mean it's dark and raining. We have three species of hadrosaur. We should find some shelter for the night."
BASELTON
"He's right. If we try to get anymore tonight we'll run into trouble. We don't want to deal with carnivores in a storm. Let alone the night time."
DODGSON(sighing)
"You're right. Fine, go to the Visitor Center. We'll rest there for the night. Just follow the map. We actually should be almost there anyway."
James nodds and starts the jeep back. Camera shows final shots of Dodgson's red jeep wrangler hiding up the roar in the day as it starts to get dark.
CUT TO:EX:
THORNE'S JEEP-DAY
Camera shows Jack Thorne's jeep moving through the jungle toward the coastline to see if Kathy had arrived. Thorne sighs as he turns several sharp curves going down the road.
CUT TO:
EX: JUNGLE RIVER-DUSK
Camera shows Kathy Freeman lying in the mud on the riverbank sleeping when she is suddenly awaken feeling something wet lapping her face. The camera pans upward to show that it is a young stegosaurus doing this to her. Kathy jumps up quickly scaring the animal away from her. Kathy looks shocked about what the animal looks like.
KATHY(to herself)
"Was that a dinosaur?"
Suddenly Kathy hears a jeep approaching her. She starts to back off thinking that it's Dodgson, but then a man gets out of the vehicle that looks nothing like the other men.
MAN
"Dr. Freeman?"
KATHY
"Yes?"
THORNE
"I'm Jack Thorne. Come with me. You're boyfriend is waiting for you."
Kathy smiles and walks toward Thorne. They both jump in the vehicle and start down the road when they suddenly stop seeing several Parasaurs running in their direction. Thorne reves the jeep and moves out of the way and parks the jeep in the foliage. The two get out wondering what is going on when they see several brown tiger striped dinosaurs running in the same direction that the Parasaurs were going. We as the audiance can recognize these striped animals to be Velociraptors.
The raptors run past Kathy and Thorne and continue running toward the parasaurs.
An attack then came as the camera shows several raptors jump on a lone Parasaur and start tearing into the animals body. Kathy looks discussed at what she's seeing and jumps back in the jeep. Thorne does the same and they both leave the area behind while there are final shots of the raptors tearing into the Parasaur.
