Warpath: Jurassic Park 4 Movie Script Part 10

IN: CONTROL ROOM-NIGHT
Camera focuses on Henry Wu trying to get one of the computers to work.
WU
"Damn it! I don't understand why everything else in this blasted building will work, but the computers!"
MALCOLM(smiling)
"Perhaps it's because you didn't tell us to hold on to our butts."
WU(not able to stop himself from laughing)
"Perhaps. I still don't understand what the problem could be. Maybe it's something to do with the system itself."
GRANT
"You've got a point there."
Suddenly another voice is heard off screen. We recognze it to be Lewis Dodgson.
DODGSON(O.S.)
"He does doesn't he?"
The team turns around to see Dodgson, King, and James all standing in the doorway pointing guns at our heros.
WU
"It's about time we found your ass! Come on! We have to get off this island now!"
DODGSON
"Last time I checked, we were the ones with guns. We're not going anywhere!"
GRANT
"Ok. I think you guys should just calm down and put the guns away."
DODGSON
"You have something that I want Dr. Wu! I know you have those DNA plans! Where are they?"
WU
"I don't know what you're talking about."
DODGSON
"You are part of Hammond's resistance and a traitor to everything dealing with Jurassic Park! I want that information that you took out of the genetics lab and I want it now!"
WU
"I have no clue what you're talking about!"
JAMES(putting gun toward Wu's head)
"Hey! If you don't want to die you'll give him the plans!"
Wu diggs through his pocket and pulls the files out and gives them to Dodgson while he smiles evily.
DODGSON
"Thank you very much, Dr. Wu."
WU
"You have no right to be here! These animals do not belong to you!"
DODGSON
"Well if you haven't noticed, after Peter Ludlow through Hammond out of InGen, he didn't own them either. Soon however, Biosyn will."
MALCOLM
"Um, if you haven't noticed, this island has nothing but monsterous creatures that aren't even close to resembling dinosaurs. The velociraptors alone are too damn big!"
DODGSON
"Size doesn't matter. What matters is what the people want and the people want to see dinosaurs!"
GRANT
"Then I suggest they go to a musseum!"
This gets a laugh out of Matt and Robert.
LEVINE(breaking in)
"Alright people! This is way out of hand! You should all stop acting childish! We should get out of here and off this damn island before anyone gets killed! We'd be very lucky to be able to get out of this with no deaths."
DODGSON
"Actually three people have already died. I sent two of my opratives here a few days ago and there was an accident which killed both men and the pilot of their helicopter. The choper was found floating just above surface in the ocean. Something, I'm not sure what, but something attacked them."
MALCOLM
"Well isn't that a draw back for you."
GRANT
"Ian! Listen Lewis, I've had to survive two other trips to these islands just like Ian, and I know just as well as he does that you shouldn't attempt to try doing what Peter Ludlow was unable to do!"
DODGSON
"Enough! I'm tired of this discussion! I'm leaving!"
Dodgson, King, and James turn around to exit the control room to see George Baselton standing before them in the doorway.
DODGSON
"I thought I told you to wait at the vehicle?"
BASELTON
"We have a situation here Dr. Dodgson."
Baselton comes fully through the door with Jack Thorne standing behind him with a gun pointed at Baselton's back. Kathy Freeman comes in behind Thorne.
LEVINE
"Kathy! Thank god!"
Levine runs over to Kathy and kisses her.
DODGSON(shocked)
"No way! I thought I'd taken care of her!"
Kathy looks at Dodgson and flips him off.
THORNE(gun still pointing at Baselton)
"Alright Dodgson, get your ass out of here before I make your team one less member!"
DODGSON(smiling)
"Gladly. We got what we came for. Let's go."
Dodgson and company leave the control room and our heros behind.
WU
"Shit! I can't believe I lost my documents! Damn it!"
MALCOLM
"Calm down Henry."
LEVINE
"Don't worry. We'll get the documents back."
THORNE
"Well what do you guys suggest that we do?"
KATHY
"I think we should stay here where we'll be safe from predators."
GRANT (shaking head)
"There are predators here. We met up with one in the genetics lab a few minutes ago. There are probably more lurking around somewhere. This place is as safe as the rest of the island."
ROBERT
"Then what should we do? Follow those creeps?"
WU
"That might be a good idea. We don't know when they'll plan to leave the island and we have to stop them from getting off this island with any of the technology or documents."
THORNE
"Then it's settled. We'll follow Dodgson. A storm is starting to brew, so they'll be going much slower.
