Some paleontologists think that the t-rex wouldn't actually have caused the ripples in the water when it approached, since it could control it's weight effortlessly, stepping softly so it would not scare away prey. (From: 'Dinosaur_neill')

Warpath: Jurassic Park 4 (Rewriten) Chapters 1-2
    By Vito Hardy

    Chapter 1: The Biosyn Meeting

Henry Wu was standing before the Biosyn Board Room only to be seen on a television screen.

"The things that have been done are keeping InGen back in business for some odd reason," Wu said over the television. "But I must tell you that Jurassic Park is no longer a secret. That we had to warn people about the islands before InGen had another law suit on their hands. And they know about law suits, let me tell you. I never wanted to see Jurassic Park to be a death sentence, it was supposed to be a dream. A dream that was nearly possible. But that is all gone now. We had to let the public know! John Hammond would've wanted it that way."

Then the screen was paused on Wu. A man by the name of Lewis Dodgson went up beside of the TV and was now starting to give a speech.

"That tape was made seven years ago when Peter Ludlow went to Isla Sorna," Dodgson said strieghtening his tie. "This man you see before you is no longer an employee of InGen. At the time that that tape was made The man had no idea what he was talking about. If we ever make a move of telling anyone that we were the ones that got Dennis Nedry to take embryos off of Jurassic Park, we'd probably get law suits on our hands. The point is that we need to do something and get some money for it before we lose everything. Biosyn is lossing money just as fast as InGen did back in 1997. We have lost a lot of people because they just don't want to work for us any more, and our stock hasn't been the hottest thing to hit Wall Street."

Dodgson paused trying to get the right wording in his mind of what to say next. He knew that the next part was going to be hard to please people. The company had went through a lot in the past few years and things were getting worse so he wasn't sure if this was going to get the attention of the board members.

"I want to start a team that will go to Isla Nublar and take what we want," Dodgson said clearing his throat. "I know all of the dangers and what the cost for InGen's mistakes were, but we have to try. Lots of people died in all all three instances on the islands. These all resulted in law suits against InGen. However, this time people will not be lost. Law suits will not be placed. We have technology that wasn't around back then. We will get what we want. There is no way that I am going to let Biosyn go down without a fight. So, if there is anyone who disagrees with my plan speak now or forever hold your piece."

No one said anything. The room was in total stagering silence. Everyone in the room was looking around at each other to see if anyone was going to say something.

"Thank you all for coming," Dodgson concluded smiling. "I'll take it from here."

    Chapter 2: Father-Son Problems

Two kids were looking down at the sand constantly and were drawn to an object on the ground. One was named Vito Levine aged 16 and the other was Matt Benton aged 11. And were both dino fanatics. Vito picked up the object.

"Ah, just a rock," Vito said throwing the rock to the dusty ground.

Alan Grant, a Paleontologist from Montana State University and the two kid's friend was watching them.

"What do you have there, kids," Grant asked as he walked over to them from his seat in the shade.

"Oh, I thought it was a herbivore tooth, but it isn't," Vito replied angerly. He hated when he couldn't find what he was looking for. Vito was a very impatiant person, just like his father. They both at least had that in common.

"Of a Parasaur," Grant asked looking at the kid streight in the eyes.

"No of a Pachycephalosaurus," Vito replied.

"Oh, I don't think that there are any Pachy fossils around here," Grant said. He was sort of sure about that. He had only found a few Parasaurs and several Velociraptors in this area of Montana and that was it. If there were any Pachycephalosaurs in this area he sure didn't know about it.

"I know there is," Vito yelled. "Dad told me that there were!"

"Well maybe there are," Grant said trying to at least calm the kid down. He hated it when kids lost their temper. That was the only thing that Grant disliked about children now. He used to hate children completely. That was what made him lose the love of his life, Ellie Sattler. She was of course now married to a man in Washington and had a good life and two kids. He just hated every thought of all that. It would just all make him feel worse.

"It won't do any good," Vito replied sadly.

"Why," Vito's best friend Matt Benton asked. Vito wasn't one to act so sad about something so little. Matt always worried about his best friend. They had been that close for several years and getting closer everyday. It seemed that sence girls hated to even give either of them a chance at dating that they'd just stick together no matter what. Best friends to the end as they'd called it so many times.

"Because of my dad," Vito replied.

"What's wrong with Dr. Levine," Matt asked confused.

"He left in a hurry yesterday to see Henry Wu," Vito replied. "He promised to take me on a tour of the desert area finding Velociraptor nests."

"But I wonder if there's something really important," Grant pondered. "I know who Henry Wu is and that guy is a pure meanous to this society." that much was true when you talked about Henry Wu. There was no telling what that man wanted. In some ways he was just like Hammond. Hell, he was Hammond's best friend, of course they'd both have to be that way.

"Oh, there is always something really important," Vito replied. He threw another rock on the sand and stood up, only to meet Grant's and Matt's faces. "He never makes time to spend with me."

"Do you want me to go talk to him when he comes back," Grant asked.

Vito shakes his head. "No, I'll think of something."
