JurassicParkIV: The Forgotten Island

100 years after the disaster on Isla Sorna(JP3)...12 year old Amber Wedikenet stepped out of her house and into the bright sunshine in the morning, ready to walk to school with her friend, Tejay Houer. She waited by her mailbox for her and she finally saw Tejay cross the street to her side. "Hi Tejay," Amber said brushing blonde hair out of her eyes. "Hey. I rented this cool movie yesterday at the video store. It's called Walking With Dinosaurs," Tejay said putting her backpack on her back. "Is it good?" "Yes, it's an awesome movie. It's in 3D and... you see it for yourself." "Ok." They started walking to school when they came to a large old house. There they stopped and looked at the house. "I heard," said Amber, "that an old man lives there alone and that he's really mean." "Yeah," Tejay said. "Like I heard that if he's sitting out on his porch and a kid goes by, he starts yelling and throws his beer can at them. I also heard he drinks beer a LOT." Amber nodded and they went on to school. About a block away, Tejay's rented movie reminded Amber of something that she heard of. Amber stopped Tejay and turned to her. "You know what? I heard, there were two islands with dinosaurs on them. It's a really popular rumor. But I don't believe in it though. Your rented movie just reminded me of the rumor. The islands are called Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna or something. Never heard of them." "Yeah I've heard of that rumor also," Tejay said. "I wonder what dinosaurs really looked like." And after that, the two girls walked on to school.
12 years later...
Amber got in her car and started the engine. She was going to her boyfriend's house. She drove three blocks and stopped the car infront of a medium sized, blue house. She got out of her car and knocked on the door. A man answered it. "Hi Amber," he said, grinning. "Hello Joe," Amber replied and stepped into the house. They sat on the couch and talked. "I just heard something weird on the news that reminded me of an old rumor that was popular when I was young," she said. "What rumor was that?" "A rumor, about two islands...anyway, the man on the news said a couple of guys flew over the ocean about a week ago in a helicopter, and one of the men was terribly scratched up." "Did they interview that man?" "No, he'll be on in about five minutes though." She looked at her watch and nodded. "That's what I wanted to tell you." Joe turned the TV on with the remote and turned it on the news. The news man came on and said, "Today we told you about a couple of men coming back from a short trip, and one came back terribly scratched. Well, here is that man," and the screen turned to a man that had scratches all over his face, hands, and legs. "And how did you get in this condition?" the woman asked, holding the microphone to his face. "I-I don't want to talk about it," replied the man. "Well, can you explain what the attacker looked like?" the woman asked again, trying to get something out of the man. The man nodded. "It was, a big beast with horribly sharp teeth. I'm lucky to be here. That's all I'm saying," and the man left the screen and Joe turned the TV off. "Weird," Amber heard him mutter. A knock on the door got their attention. Amber answered it. It was Tejay, her boyfriend Jake, her other friends, James, and Amy. They all stepped into the house and sat down and started talking about the attack on the man. Amber interrupted Amy. "I say, we all go search for where that attacker is. First, we'll have to talk a bit with the man that got attacked." The others nodded. "Nice idea Amber," Tejay said and they all got up and walked out the door to go back home. Tomorrow at 9am, they were to meet at Amber's house to go talk to the man. Amber woke up at 8am. She got dressed and ate breakfast and waited for the others. They finally came and Amber drove them to the man's house. "Lucky we knew the man's friend," Amy said laughing a bit. They went up to his door and knocked. The man answered. "What now?" he said sharply. "Yeah, anyway," Tejay said, "we want to ask you, where axactly did you get attacked? We want to investigate." "Some island called Isla Sorna," and the man slammed the door. "I think he got a lot of company," Amber said turning back to the car. They drove to their houses to gather supplies for the trip. Amber went to the store to pick up a map so she would know where Isla Sorna is. She went back home and packed also. She packed a lot of food, a few candy bars, a gun, a small cage to take home a souvenir, and her cell-phone just in case. They met at Amy's house, closest to the ocean. They got in her car and Amy drove them to the ocean where they found a motor boat, big enough for the friends and their luggage for rent and so they rented it. "Thanks," said Joe and they drove off to Isla Sorna. Amber took out her map and looked at it. After that, she led the way. They all got tired so they stopped the motor and rested about half way from Isla Sorna. They took out their lunches they packed for that day and Amber bit into her left over pizza while her friend Tejay ate an apple. Tejay was a vegetarian. When Tejay was half way through her apple, Amber saw bubbles about a couple of yards away from the motor boat. "What's that?" she said pointing to the bubbles. Jake looked at the bubbles. "I don't know," he replied. They all shrugged and kept on eating. The bubbles suddenly stopped and the boat rocked from under it. Amy started screaming and threw her chicken leg out into the ocean. The boat stopped rocking and there was a small wave where the chicken leg had landed. "Whatever that was must have eaten my food!" Amy said. Suddenly a head emerged from the water. It roared, showing rows of horribly sharp teeth. Amber started the motor and the motor boat went off through the water with the friends screaming. They got closer and closer to Isla Sorna. The sea monster sped after them. Amy recognized it. "Elasmosaurus!" she yelled and the boat went faster. When they were so close to the island, the Elasmosaurus aimed for the boat, stretching its long neck. It got the engine and it spit it out. The boat slowed down and the Elasmosaurus took a bite out of the boat at the end. The friends jumped out with their luggage and half swam half walked to the island for their dear lives. The Elasmosaurus didn't pay attention and kept attacking the boat and the group made it to safety on the island... so they thought. The Elasmosaurus looked up and swam full speed toward the group baring its teeth. It reached the shore and snapped its neck out toward Jake and almost got him but missed. Jake screamed and the group ran away with the
Elasmosaurus mad and hungry. They got to some trees and stopped. "I'm not going in there," Tejay said. "What if there are other dinosaurs?" "We need to get off the island," Amy said. "Yeah, and there might be a way through these trees," included Amber. "Heads, we go in the trees," Jake said. "Tails, we don't," Joe said, taking out a quarter. Amy grabbed the quarter and flipped it. The quarter landed on a sandy beach and the group looked at it. "Heads!" declared Jake. Joe and Tejay groaned. The group walked in the trees. About five minutes after they walked in, they heard a screech. Amy stopped and said, "What was that? Another dinosaur?" "Sounded like a bird to me," Tejay replied shrugging and walking on. "A bird?" muttered Amy and walked on also, not wanting to get lost or separated from the group. The tree tops shook above them, startling the group. "Something's up there," Joe said. The others nodded in agreement. They walked on, being more cautious. Something dropped from the tree tops and shrieked. That was the sound they heard a moment ago. Amy turned around and shrieked and the group started to run. The attacker spread its arms out and flew after them. It was fast and it shrieked again gaining fast. They cleared the trees for a moment but beyond more trees were waiting. They burst into the clearing and their attacker flapped its wings and soared up. When it was right above the group and flew down and grabbed Amber. Amber yelled and struggled. Amy stopped and studied the attacker. Quetzalcoatlus, she knew now. It was huge. The Quetzalcoatlus flew off with Amber. The group had stopped now and was breathing heavily from the running. They walked now. They entered trees again and there was a small space with five rocks in the clearing. They could stop and rest here. Jake, Amy, Joe, and Tejay sat down on rocks, with one rock that was supposed to have Amber sitting on it. They took out some food from their packs and started eating and took sips of water that they had brought once in a while. There was a scurrying in a bush next to Joe. He looked at the bush and a Compsognathus jumped out chirping, eyeing the ham in his hand. It hopped a little bit closer and sniffed Joe's shoe. Amy looked over and laughed. "Oh so scary!" she said trying to look scared. The Compy looked at her and chirped and looked at the pizza in her hand. It hopped closer and closer and attacked her shoelace. Amy laughed and kicked the Compy, sending it through the air. It got up and chirped angerly. It ran back Amy, jumped on her lap, ran up her arm to her face and bit her nose. Amy screamed and tugged at it. The Compy hung on. Jake got a stick and beat the Compy's body and it fell off her nose. He kept hitting it until he knew it was dead. "Stupid Compy," he muttered and threw the stick over his shoulder and stomped on the dead body. "Thank-you," Amy said. "No problem." The group of four got up and walked on. Amy was rubbing her nose, which was bleeding a bit. They came to a Camerasaurus carcass and Amy wrinkled her nose and said, "Ewwwww, stinky." Jake laughed and threw a rock over the carcass and they heard an annoyed growl. They froze and Joe shoved Jake at the carcass. A Spinosaurus head emerged from behind the carcass and it roared. They screamed and ran to the right, to which their horror ran into a Spinosaurus nest. There another Spinosaurus was feeding three Spinosaurus. The dad Spinosaurus came from behind and roared. Just then they heard three roars in return. They looked where the sounds came from and 3 Tyrannosaurus burst through the trees. One eyed the babies. Another eyed the dad and the last eyed the mom. All at once they attacked the one they eyed. All 3 Tyrannosaurus was fully grown. The dad Spinosaurus fighting with a Tyrannosaurus was losing. The Tyrannosaurus grabbed hold of its neck and clamped down. The Spinosaurus struggled but fell to his side dead. The mom Spinosaurus and the Tyrannosaurus were fighting too. The Tyrannosaurus that eyed the babies went over to help the other. It grabbed the Spinosaurus on its tail, and the other reaching for its neck but missed. Instead the Spinosaurus ignored its tail and got hold of the other's neck but lost its hold. The third Tyrannosaurus came over and clamped down on its side. The Spinosaurus roared in pain and snapped its head to the Tyrannosaurus giving the other time to clamp on its neck and kill it. They ignored the group of four and went feasting. The group ran away from the spot and, catching their breath started walking. Suddenly Joe remembered the cell phone. He grabbed it and turned it on. A Compy dashed out and snapped its jaws around Joe's finger and he dropped the cell phone on a rock. He cursed and kicked the Compy. They walked for about an hour and spotted a building. It was about half a mile away and they started to run. They were now in a clearing and didn't see the herds of dinosaurs grazing. Amy turned sharply to the left to dodge a stump and knocked into a foot. The startled Brachiosaurus stopped its grazing and looked at her still chewing some grass. Amy didn't feel scared but surprised at the beautiful creature. "Not all are carnivores," she murmured. The Brachiosaurus went back to grazing walking away from Amy. Jake saw a Triceratops and, looking at its horns said, " I got to have one of those horns!" and took his gun out. He aimed and pulled the trigger. A bullet shot out and hit the Triceratops on the thigh. The Triceratops made a sound and charged at Jake, horns down ready to kill its attacker. It ran fast toward Jake and he barely dodged it but suffered the price with a stabbed leg, now he was limping. The Triceratops snorted and went back to grazing. They neared a river with some Parasaurolophus getting drinks. They raised their heads when the group neared and snorted. The Parasaurolophus started running away and the group just watched. They skipped over rocks to the other side of the river. They opened the door to the building and walked in. Suddenly the door(and part of the building's walls) gave away and an Allosaurus walked it eyeing the group hungerly. It was probably stalking them when they got across the river. The Allosaurus roared and ran toward the group baring its teeth. When it reached them the group ducked and the Allosaurus missed Tejay by an inch. It roared and ran after Jake, realizing he was closer than Tejay was. The Allosaurus caught up to Jake and dipped its head catching Jake in his mouth as he went by. It stopped, ate, and was satisfied and left growling. The group of three walked on, hating the island more and more. They reached a staircase and they walked up it. They reached the top and looked out a window. There they saw lots of trees, herds of herbivores, some Carnivores hunting, and a river. Amy looked up and saw a Pteranodon soar by. They walked down the staircase and went out the door and went around the building and walked on toward trees. A Giganotosaurus came out of a patch of really thick trees and roared. Joe took out his machine gun, aimed it at the Giganotosaurus' head and fired. The bullets hit. The dinosaurs roared in pain and anger and dropped down dead. The group ran toward the trees now and when they reached them they stopped and listened. They all heard something. "What is that?" Amy whispered. "I don't know," whispered back Tejay. "Shhhh," Joe said. The group walked in silence and the sounds went on. Hissing sounds, screeching and purring sounds. They walked for about another minute went a Velociraptor jumped out of a bush and on Tejay. She screamed and tried to keep its mouth away from her head, trying to bite it. The Velociraptor was thinking plan B: claws. It slashed her across the face and Tejay screamed in pain. The Velociraptor finally got her head and ran away dragging her with it. More Velociraptors came out hissing, screeching. Amy and Joe climbed up a tree and sat on a good sturdy limb. Joe took out his machine gun and Amy got her slingshot out. Joe aimed the machine gun at a Velociraptor that was climbing up the tree and snapping at his foot trying to drag him down. It fell down dead. Amy aimed the slingshot at another Velociraptor's eye and let the rock hit it there. The Velociraptor screeched in pain. Amy ran out of rocks and Joe out of bullets. Amy looked at the tree across from them and said, "Joe look!" and saw a Velociraptor climb that tree, go to the tree branch and got ready to jump on the branch they were on. Joe screamed as the Velociraptor landed on their branch and hissed angerly. It snapped at Joe's arm and got hold of it. It threw him down into the angry pack of hungry Velociraptor below. "Joe!" Amy screamed. She looked at the Velociraptor getting ready to do her the same it did Joe. She kicked it and it went falling down. She climbed higher until she got to the top of the tree with a Velociraptor close on her heels with the others still trying to climb the tree with others yanking the other down wanting a turn first. She screamed, and was stuck at the top of the tree. All of a sudden she was lifted from the top of the tree and was in the air. She looked up and a Quetzalcoatlus had hold of her. It flapped its wings and screeched. Amy screamed some more while the Quetzalcoatlus flew to the beach, where the group had first got on the island chased by the Elasmosaurus. Amy saw the beach come into view and suddenly another Quetzalcoatlus attacked the one carrying her. It dropped her and she fell down to the ground. The tree tops broke her fall so she didn't land as hard as she expected. She looked behind her and to her horror, the pack of Velociraptors running after her. She screamed and ran to the beach. She heard a whirring sound and ran faster. She got to the beach and there was a helicopter waiting for her. She climbed on the helicopter and it flew away from the island, away from a nightmare, and away from where her best friends died...
