Age of the Dinosaurs chapter 6

Glow and Loner soon came to a shallow stream with crystal clear water. They started drinking, since they were thirsty. Glow finished drinking and hopped onto a stump and a bug scuddled across it and he ate it. "I eat bigger prey," Loner said. "Shush!," Glow replied and he listened.
A low rumbling sound was heard and Loner looked at the stream. The water rippled when the they heard the rumbling. A roar was heard in the forest, then another roar, closer this time. Glow shivered and said, "I don't know what it is, and I don't want to know. Let's get out of here!" and they ran into the trees when a Spinosaurus stepped out of the other side of the clearing.
It opened its mouth, showing horribly sharp teeth, and its yellow eyes burned while it searched for its prey it had smelled earlier. It stood still for a moment and it soon smelled its prey again and chased after Glow and Loner.
The two friends heard the Spinosaurus coming after them and a sharp crack of a twig breaking. "It's a Spinosaurus," Glow said, breathing hard. "How do you know?" Loner said back. Glow scowled and said, "I've been here longer than you have!" and they dove in a cave, too small for the Spinosaurus.
The Spino's snout shot into the small cave and went back out, and then an angry roar was heard. The Spinosaurus crouched and its fore arm went into the cave, a squeak and a hiss was then heard and its prey dashed out. The attacker ran after them.
Glow looked back for a few seconds and without warning smashed into a rock that was in his way. The Spinosaurus had him cornered. Its massive jaws closed around the Compsognathus and tore him to shreds, giving Loner escape.
