SITE WARS: Episode IV - The Dark Veil
    By Vader

    Episode IV
    THE DARK VEIL

The internet is a place of drastic change. A large group of smugglers have risen up in rebellion due to the ruthless Flooder empire, which has replaced what once was Dan's government, taking control of the business of all the trade and merchandise routes.

As the Leader of the Flooders brings up a new apprentice, he and his right hand man, Jedrek Div, are preparing their entire fleet for an attack on all the rebels.

While all this strife and war is occurring throughout the websites, the Flooder base on the outer rim has made new discoveries that could ensure the doom of a certain reclusive group in hiding . . .

A black plane sped over the ocean, it engines roaring. In it's pit, a large man in a black uniform sat in the pilot's seat while his co-pilot tapped on the control board, making their vehicle veer to the left. "Set the quickest course for jurassicpark.com," the pilot instructed, "I want to reveal our discovery to the Leader as soon as possible."
"Yes, sir," his partner immediately tapped into the computer system in front of them, causing a monitor glow. He typed in the coordinates for the requested site and in a moment, the comp fed up the results, displaying the route they were to follow.
"At last we will abolish the Admins, with the help of our new discovery . . ." the pilot snickered as he stared into the distance.

A huge mother air-craft hovered above a jungle covered site - Dan's JP3 Page. Several smaller choppers zipped around it, as if they were bees flying around their hive. Meanwhile, more sky vehicles were approaching from the buildings below on the site to join the mother craft, which had, on the very top it, a tall skydome, perched to overlook the entire area.
Inside the dome, it was pitch dark. A young man of about twenty moved slowly through the darkness. The only thing heard was an eerie, deep hum coming from the power generators far below him. He moved across a narrow walkway that extended forward, with no handles or bars to lean on if he were to slip, as sweat accumulated across his brow.
There was a creak. His hand swished to his , hanging from the holster on his belt. A drop of sweat fell from the tip of his eyebrow and he looked downward. That one drop disappeared down the long abyss underneath him.
In the next split second, the man's highly alert ears picked up the movement of air in front of him. In the last half of the second, his hand whipped his up from it's hanging place and fired in the blink of an eye. Afterwards, there was a period of silence that seemed like forever, with only the panting of the young man echoing. And then, a loud clang.
The young man reached down and unhooked a pouch on his belt, pulling out a small flashlight, flipping it on, and shining the beam of light forward. Just inches away from him was a 6-foot tall velociraptor laying on the ground, a bullet wound in his head, lying in a pool of red that overflowed off the edge of the walkway to pour down the abyss. The man nodded and sighed with approval of his skills, and at that, torches on the walls lit up around him.
He turned around and walked back the other way from the abyss and into a throne-room area, hearing cackling ahead of him. It was the Leader of the Flooders, a shadow figure for as long as he could remember, and his mentor for as long as he could remember. "Good, good," the Leader continued his cackling, "Your skills are becoming far better each day, River."
"All because of training," River replied with a lopsided grin with a hint of villainy in it. "With your permission, master, I want to go down to my personal chambers to have a duel with one of the adolescent Rexs to further my practice session."
"Of course." With the Leader's approving stare upon him, River bowed and started to turn to exit. But then he stopped, and slowly turned back around.
"But first . . . I've been meaning to ask you something, master," he began. His voice hinted that he feeling were uncertain in some way, and his master clearly sensed it.
"Oh? I certainly hope you have no doubts," his master said, his smile beginning to fade.
"No, it isn't that," River quickly replied, knowing full well it was. "I've been, well, wondering - about the past, that is."
"Just what about the past?" the Leader began to frown.
"What is the whole history about the Admins? I have never clearly understood why you've ed them," his apprentice finally blurted.
"You do trust that I destroyed them for a good reason?"
    "Well . . . y-yes. But I must have further detail."
"Very well," an annoyed Leader began, "The Admins were a group that began to take control of the internet for themselves, led by a man named Dan Finkelstein. They were ruthless and power craving. They declared Dan's JP3 Page the headquarters of their government. And so we took action and decided to stop them. We flooded Dan's Page with our own troops we conjured up - that was how we got our current name. And now, we rule in the better way than those evil Admins, who'd ruined so much of how good life in the internet could have been back then."
River was not satisfied with the answer, he couldn't deny it. He couldn't stop the gut feeling he had that his master was lying. He knew that if the Leader were to find out that he even had the slightest hint of non-trust, he would be punished - severely. "And you are sure the Admins have been destroyed?" River chose his words carefully.
"How dare you say such a thing!" the Leader yelled, his eyes seeming to glow with anger. "Do you not trust me? The Admins were dangerous as all hell and I destroyed them! Is that clear?!"
"Y-yes, My Lord," River quickly made up, bowing, trying to calm his master down. "Please forgive me. I didn't mean to defy you." The fire in the Leader's eyes slowly began to fade at the sight of his apprentice's prostrating himself.
"Just be careful. I do not want to hear another word of the Admins again. You know their history now and you no longer need to talk of it. That is a command."
"I will obey you, master." River bowed once more and then immediately walked out, anxious to get out of the tense situation. He knew he had displeased his master talking about such things, but he couldn't help it. He just sensed that there was something . . . a bit strange about the Admins. Something that he didn't know of yet, as if he wasn't being told the whole truth, or as if he wasn't being told the truth at all.
Just as he was about to press the elevator button, the door opened. In front of him was a man in battered green and maroon armor, a helmet covering his face. It was the Leader's right hand man, used to train and organize the fleet and the troops - Jedrek Div, a man clearly recognizable with his unique outfit. Jedrek just nodded and stared for a moment at River, then passing him. River walked into the elevator which Jedrek had occupied and took it down to the levels below.
The right hand man walked up next to the Leader of the Flooders' throne, with a cold silence. "An update?" the Leader asked with a straight face.
"I have instructed the latest troops on an attack and defense formation and strategy. I am confident we will win against this pathetic rebel group at jurassicpark.com," Jedrek replied in a grizzly, raspy voice.
"Good. You can tell the admiral to take the fleet out of her and to head for the smuggler's headquarters. You have done well, Div. Let us hope your work will be carried in perfection out in our assault." Jedrek bowed and left the throne room, as the Leader turned his throne around to stare out of his viewport, to look at the site below him and the sky beyond. He ruled it all. It was all his.

River finished putting on his grey flight suit and walked out of his apartment, which was more like a cubicle, in the Flooder mother craft. He strut down the hallway with his pilot's helmet in hand, still regretting what he'd said to his master just hours ago. As he scratched the back of his neck, he sometimes wondered why he doubted the Leader so much. He just couldn't put his finger on it, but something about him was . . .
River shook his head, trying to get rid of the feelings, for fear of displeasing his master once more. When he raised his head up, he noticed that not far up on the walkway, another young man, about his age, dressed in pilot's clothing was exiting his own quarters. "Brian!" River shouted, jogging to catch up as the man ahead turned to wave at him.
"Hey, River. Headed for the hangar bay?" Brian asked.
"You bet. We're going to wipe them out. I can feel it," River talked about the upcoming battle that would take place against the rebelling smugglers, patting his friend on the shoulder.
"That's just great. Just what we need - a hokey priest like you piloting one of the mini- choppers," Brain laughed sarcastically. River shook his head at the joke.
"Don't worry. I'm not going hokey on you," he dismissed the comment with a smirk.
"Well, River I'm going to miss you. The plans have been made for me to be transferred to the Gondolend website colony."
"I know. But I'll do my best to radio you and visit as much as possible."
The two walked into the huge hangar bay in a matter of moments. Several Flooder troops were lined up for piloting. From the looks of it, it seemed River and Brian were the only real ones left. All the other pilots lined up were clones, left over from the Flooders' clone machine that was reportedly destroyed by the Admins twenty years ago. When the two friends turned the corner, River was relieved to see several ordinary pilots dressed in grey in a huddle, still reviewing the flight plan.
"Good to see some like us. Do you ever feel weird flying with clones? I always feel they'll screw up everything," River remarked, his voice hinting at an undertone of prejudice. Brian thought to himself and then shrugged.
"Sort of, I guess. I don't know," he replied. "But I know one thing: if you're going to be the Leader's apprentice, I suggest you shut up about it. He'll be enraged if anyone questions the Flooders' authority or way of doing things. That's the whole reason we're hear to attack the smugglers. Don't you forget that." River nodded, knowing his friend spoke the truth.
"Today at training, I fell out of line," he admitted. Before he could continue to relate the incident, a clone came out the group of pilots and ran over to River, its electro-jabber held high.
"You!" the clone yelled, clearly recognizing the apprentice of the Leader. "You slaughtered troop 90!" Annoyed and angry, River jumped into the air and came down on the clone, putting his right against his helmet and firing. The clone fell to the floor , his wailing silenced.
"River! Stop!" Brain shouted before his comrade could begin to do anything else.
"I these clones," River grumbled as he returned his to its holster. At that, Brain put his hands on his hips.
"So what he was talking about was true," Brian gestured to clone on the floor, "You did slaughter the clone troop 90!"
"They interrupted my training a few days ago. They had it coming to them."
"Sometimes you scare me," Brain shook his head, walking away.
"What is that supposed to mean?!" River jumped to defend himself.
"Just what I said," Brian gave his final words without turning around. The two departed and climbed into different choppers, immediately revving up their engines as the other pilots rushed into their own vehicles. A soft alarm echoed through the hangar as on of the commandos spoke up from behind, into the speakers.
"We've reached Jurassicpark.com. Prepare for air warfare," he told the pilots as all the crewmen ran away with their equipment, clearing the way for the vehicles. With a repetitive beeping, the hangar bay doors opened slowly with the anxious pilots waiting, hands on their controls. On the top of the hangar, Jedrek Div watched from a railing in silence, anticipating how the pilots would carry out the attack plan he himself had formulated. After the doors were fully open and the beeping stopped, the Flooder choppers sped out of the hangar all at once.
Immediately after getting out of the mother craft, they went into proper assault formation. Below them, in the middle of the night, stars high above it, was Jurassicpark.com. River led all the pilots toward it right after they'd finished forming.
"Alright everyone. Try and follow Jedrek's plans exactly. Let's keep it short but inflicting," River said, holding down the comm button. His fellow pilots returned in approval and they afterwards went speeding up towards the website. As they got closer, they saw a group of gliders came speeding up from below.
"Smugglers coming in!" Brian announced over the comm. A spray of bullets came from the smugglers defending their site. One of the bullets hit River's engine, inflicting damage, although all the others of the fleet weren't even nicked as they swerved sideways to fire back at their opponents. Another pilot, Ozma, came in to River's radio.
    "River, you okay?" he asked.
"Sure. But I need a second to stabilize the engine. Tobycompy, cover me," River spoke.
"Sure thing," Toby replied as we turned his craft back to cover River.
The smugglers, meanwhile, swooped back around. The powerful Flooder vehicles struck back on the gliders with several torpedoes arding them. Many of the speeding torpedoes blew up gliders in one hit, leaving nothing but a cloud of smoke behind.
River was running through his computer, investigating the damage that had been done to his engine. Out of the blue, a surprise group of smugglers came swishing around and fired a missile on Toby. His ship exploded instantly. "No!" River rushed to move his craft but was just a bit too slow. Another missile was fired from the newcomer smugglers and on his engine that he was already trying to repair. River's craft suddenly exploded with speed, spiraling out of control.
His ship twirled, spun, and jolted and things progressively went black. The last thing River remembered before blacking out was the whine of his engines that got higher, higher, and higher.

The Leader of the Flooders watched as the battle slowly ended above Jurassicpark.com. The Flooders had knocked out almost all of the known smuggler facilities on the site and the smuggler gliders had retreated. And although they'd had a measure of victory, he had lost his prized apprentice in the midst of battle. As his thought turned to the whereabouts of River, the elevator behind him opened up with a soft whir.
He heard footsteps walk up the short flight of stairs to the base of his thrown and stop. He knew who it was and knew that person was bowing before him, waiting for him to turn around. The Leader put a sly smile on his face, ignoring the man behind him. It was a test - a test he used on River, on his admirals, on his commandos, on everyone. If the man were to get tired of waiting and simply stand up and start talking, then he obviously did not show any respect to the ruler of the galaxy. So far, only two commandos had not shown that respect that the Leader demanded, and they lost their lives for it - in a most brutal manner.
Finally, the Leader turned to see Jedrek Div in front of his throne. "Yes, Div," he spoke.
    "You summoned?" Jedrek asked.
"Yes. Have our sensors picked anything up of River's craft?"
    "No sir."
"Then contact the headhunters. I want them searching for River everywhere. Make sure they don't make a mistake to treat him like a criminal. I want him back fully in tact," the Leader emphasized.
    "Yes."
"And I have heard reports of lone family group of nomads that escaped our take-over on the Gondolend website. Set course for Dan's old Wing Commander website and we shall do away with them."
"Sir," Jedrek said, giving a short bow and then turning to head back down to the lower levels. A beeping then began, being transmitted from the one of the armrests on the throne. The Leader looked down and pressed a button next to the comm.
    "Incoming ship?" he asked.
"Yes, My Lord," an officer replied, "It is a plane from the Studies Outpost in the middle rim. They've found something quite useful."

River slowly opened his eyes, immediately feeling the impact of a headache. He quickly shut his eyes again, holding them , and then slowly sat up. He opened his eyes a moment later to see his spacesuit was completely charred and burned, while the windshield on his Flooder chopper was ed. He also saw he was underwater. Quickly, he kicked open the hatch and swam out as water poured into the open pit. In just a few seconds he reached the top, and realized that he had crash-landed in some sort of a bog.
He lifted himself out of the water, looking around him, turning in circles. Everything was lush green. Extremely tall forest trees reached up into the sky and seemed to go on forever. He heard the chirped of birds and cooing of animals of who-knew-what-kind. He knew then that he was lost. There didn't seem to be any way to contact the Flooder fleet to come back and pick him up. And even if he could contact them, he had no idea where in the internet he was, for this habitat was unlike anything he'd ever seen before.
In that moment, he felt the same way he had when he had been practicing over the abyss in the Leader's throne room, at Dan's JP3 Page, just before the raptor leaped for him. He heard the swish of wind through his attuned ears as he just began to swish his hand downward to grab his . "Slowly turn around," a voice sounded through his ears.
In the blink of an eye, River whirled around with his drawn from its holster, firing two shots. The blur of something silver swiped back and forth, and there were two pings, flashes of sparks. River fired other shots, followed by more pings and sparks. The silver streak slashed around, twirling, and then neatly chopped his in half. He stared down on the mossy forest floor, at his smoking , chopped in two. Now, helpless, he looked up and the person who was confronting him.
He saw a bearded man in a camouflage tunic, with brown robes underneath, in his early forties, carrying some sort of a sword, and a beautifully crafted one at that. "If you harm me, I will have my revenge," River spoke with a scowl, "If you me, I will be avenged."
"Nice little jingle to that," the man remarked. "I don't know how you got in here. Something must have gone wrong . . ." The man's eyes traveled up and down River's body, his eyes somehow becoming wider, as if he recognized River. "You're a Flooder, are you not?"
"Not just any Flooder. I happen to have close relations to the Leader of the Flooders," River smirked with arrogance.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" the unimpressed swordsman inquired.
"Shut up. I'm not telling you anything else," River told him off, annoyed. At that, the man put the point of his extremely sharp sword right into River's head.
"Tell me your name," he demanded, emphasizing every single word.
    "I sware if I-"
"Tell me your name or else." River then grumbled something under his breath, following with a sigh.
    "River Yolin," he blurted reluctantly.
The man seemed to pause after that, seemed to actually contemplate it. They just stood there in silence for a long while, like he had gone into a state of shock.
"What do you want from me?" River finally spoke up.
"Just come with me." With the gesture of the swordsman's weapon, they turned together and headed off into the dense forest, leaving the bog behind.

After a long hike with a sword at his back, River was told to stop by the man that was forcing him in a certain direction. The man pointed up ahead for River to notice something. Several feet above them was a huge tree village, several huts and walkways clinging to the sides of the trees and bridges set up all over. "What the hell is this place?" River whispered to himself.
"Come on, move," the man ignored his comment. They walked to the other side of a nearby tree and entered a sturdy elevator that was connected to some sort of contraption, put together by vines. The man told River to get inside and grabbed a vine, beginning to pull them upwards to the top of the village. After much climbing, reached the top and walked out. Small food stands were in a court in the center of the quaint village. It was then River noticed a beautiful young woman of about his age standing in the center, immediately attracting him more than anyone had before. Alas, she ignored him and stepped into one of the huts.
"Into this hut," River's thoughts were broken into by the words of the swordsman. River turned his eyes away from the hut the woman disappeared into and walked into the house he was being gestured towards. As soon as he stepped inside, River heard a loud clang, and he whirled around to see closed steel bars behind him.
    "Hey!" he shouted.
"You aren't our prisoner, don't worry," the swordsman assured him, "But you have to be kept here until I talk with a few of my associates."
"Why do you have to lock me up?" The man sighed at the question, acting as if the question was not even worth asking.
"Any Flooder in Admin grounds is sure to be detained." At that the man walked away. But what he had said stunned River in stuck in his brain. The Flooder apprentice just stood there, staring into oblivion. Did not he just say this was ‘Admin grounds'? Isn't that impossible? Was this man lying to him that they were Admins or has his own master lied to him? After he thought of it for a while, he suddenly realized that if that swordsman was telling the truth, then it made sense - the Admins had been hiding here all these years from the Flooders. His jaw hung open.

The swordsman entered huge hut, built as a circle, featuring several chairs, serving as a conference room for making decisions. However, not all the chairs were filled. Three men and one woman were seated in the central chairs, dressed similar the man who'd captured River, who took his place in the fifth seat. "Thank you for coming," he told them, "I have something extremely important to tell you."
"Go ahead, Vader," one of the others nodded. Vader took a deep breath and exhaled, indicating the heaviness of what he was about to divulge.
"I have found a Flooder in the South Bog," he stated with a concerned look on his face. Everyone immediately fell so quiet, it seemed as if they stopped breathing all together. The silence was ly. Worries pouring into everyone's mind. All of them sat there, giving each other knowing looks.
"The Power of the Password does not allow Flooders to come her," another of them brought up.
"Cyros is right, Dan arranged so that only the Admins could get through," another spoke.
"But you forget, JohnArnold - any member of Beno-Yo's family also can pass through it," Vader returned. The rest of them put looks on their faces that implied what Vader was getting at was completely ridiculous.
"You aren't implying that this Flooder is part of Beno's family!" the woman gasped.
"I must say it's impossible, Vader.
"Is it really?" Vader turned his head. "This Flooder told me his name, Raptor-Rex - River Yolin." Everyone realized his was just too hard to believe.
"Beno-Yo and his son were ed twenty years ago," JohnArnold stated.
"But perhaps Beno-Yo was ed and River wasn't. Perhaps the Flooders found him and wanted to train him just as they had trained Beno-Yo."
"It's still all speculation," the woman reminded him. Then, a though came to her, "Where is this River, anyway?"
"I put him in the detention hut, JurassicChik. Don't worry."
"This seems so crazy . . ." another of the men breathed, staring into a daze.
"But how else do you explain the penetrating of the Power of the Password? It must be him, Raptor-Rex . . ."

River bent down low on the wooden floor of his detention hut. He didn't plan to stay in this place long, that was for sure. He still couldn't shake the fact that the man who had found him said he was an Admin. An Admin. It all seemed to inevitable - that the Admins had really survived. However, he couldn't bring himself to accept that his Master lied to him.
The one thing that the Admin who had captured River didn't notice was a small laser cutter hooked on the inside of his space boots - and he was lucky because of it. He folded back the top flap of the boots and unhooked the pocket-sized device, turning it on and pointing it at the bottom of the hut. The powerful ray began to cut through the molted wood, bark, leaves, and clay as a thin stream of smoke rose upward.

"Take us to River, Vader. I'm interested in seeing this for myself," JohnArnold smirked. Vader gestured for them to leave the room as he stood up from his chair.
"No problem. Come on," he replied as he led Raptor-Rex, JohnArnold, Cyros, and JurassicChik through the village square and to the hut Vader had left him at. He quickly unlocked door and flung it open. When he found was totally unexpected - the room was empty, filled with a misty cloud of spoke. Their eyes followed downward to the source of the smoke - a small hole cut, just about the size of a man's waist.
    "Oh great," Raptor-Rex remarked.
"How long has it been since you put him in here?" Cyros spun around to Vader.
"Just before I came to talk to you all," Vader returned.
"Then he couldn't have gone far! Hurry!" JurassicChik shouted. All of them went running for the edge of the wooden walkways of their tree-village, clinging to the nearest vines and leaping off. They swung across through the titan trees and down to the forest floor, their swords drawn and ready.

River went racing as fast as he could away from the tree-village. He didn't know where he was heading, nor did he care. He just wanted to escape this place and find his way home. He kept running and running, his body smacking against the ferns and the shrubbery, his face getting scratched up.
A low growl came from up ahead, and River ignored it, which turned out not to be a good idea. A Bull Tyrannosaur lunged out from the forest with a loud roar, only being viewed as a blur. River skidded in the mud as he came to a stop, swiping up his laser-cuter and pointing it at the dinosaur's leg. Will an irritable bellow, the Rex moved him foot sideways to get out of the Flooder's aim. It certainly didn't do much damage.
The Rex moved forward, smashing River to the ground. It brought its neck back for the when figures swung out from the trees, shining silver swords in hand. They leapt on top of the Rex, making dizzying motions by plunging their weapons into the animal, looking so small on the back of the behemoth. The dinosaur howled in pain, whipping its head around to stop them and wipe them away. One of the small figures climbed up the neck and sat on top of it's brain area, jamming his sword into the head. As the sword pierced, the dinosaur went to retreat, twirling in the other direction. The figures jumped off and returned their bloodied swords to their pouches with a spin.
River stared at his saviors in shock, amazed at the incredibly teamwork, efficiency, and presence they had. He recognized that one of them was the swordsman who'd uncovered him in the bog.
Shaking his feelings away, River reacted rashly by pointing his laser at them. The one behind the familiar man slashed out and deflected the laser shine back onto River's face. The Flooder snapped back to the ground in brief stinging pain with a small groan. The man that had found him came forward and leaned down, giving him a gentle look. River found it unbelievable that the look actually put him at . . . ease.
"River," the man smiled, "Its time to stop running." He offered a hand. River didn't take it, only looking and him very strangely. "River, you don't know what has taken place in the past years of the Site Wars. You must know the truth - and we can tell you."
And then, with those words, a burning set in on River. His Master had lied to him about the Admins being , he was now sure of it. He never understood the past of the Admins, and still, he didn't even know if the information he'd been told about their past was true. And on top of that, there was no other way of getting home or contacting the Flooders. He was stranded here, and his only hope for were these people. He had to make a choice - a choice wether or not to take the hand that was extended to help him up from the ground.
With a sigh, he reached for the man's hand, who pulled him up.
"Let me introduce myself - I'm Vader," the familiar man smiled. He turned to gesture to his accomplices, "This is Raptor-Rex, JohnArnold, Cyros, and JurassicChik."
"You're Admins, aren't you?" River said, almost in an admitting manner. Raptor-Rex patted River's back.
"Let's just get back to the village now," he suggested. "You look like you could use some rest - a lot of rest."

Two scientists, clothed in , military-style, black suits, exited the humming of the elevator and walked out into the throne-room of the Leader of the Flooders. Both climbed a short flight of stairs to stand next to the Leader's actual throne, each of them bowing to one knee. At this particular moment, the Leader was in no mood for waiting. "Rise," he quickly told them, "You have something rather interesting to report, I presume."
"Yes, My Lord," one of the scientists replied, as he and his accomplice got back on their feet, placing his hands together behind his back. "Our studies on the outer rim have been quite successful. We've discovered the way to destroy the Power of the Password."
The Leader immediately grinning his wicked smile. "Ah yes," he cackled, "The infamous Power of the Password. I am impressed with your findings."
"We have carefully observed the substance of the energy shield, My Lord," the second scientist continued. "Using the proper computer and components we've derived from our studies will shut it down . . . in a most destructive manner."
The Leader cackled loudly as his fist clenched themselves together, a vision of hatred in his glaring eyes. "Yes. At last, every trace Dan has left behind will be erased from existence!"

River sat in a surprisingly comfortable wooden chair in a room with Vader, Raptor-Rex, JohnArnold, and Tango. They were all sipping tea concocted from the herbs growing in the forest, and while it was unlike anything the young Flooder apprentice had ever tasted, it was delicious. When the cup of liquid was first given to him, River was suspicious these people would poison his drink. But then he figured if they wanted him , they surely wouldn't have saved him from the Rex attack. And that thought brought a question to mind. "Why are you keeping me alive?" he asked with uncertainty.
"Calm down," Raptor-Rex gave a small smile, made with subtle amusement, "Don't be so suspicious." River balked.
"Excuse me, but I am a Flooder. You men are enemies of my people."
"It's actually the other way around," JohnArnold told him in a low tone of voice, as if he were talking to himself.
"What's that supposed to mean?" River shot. Vader, the man who River was most familiar with on this site, leaned forward in a gentle manner.
"River, do you know what happened to the Admins? How they even were gotten started?" Vader asked, his face assuming a concerned look.
"You . . . well . . .," River stuttered. He was careful in choosing his words, since he had the smallest feeling of untrustworthiness about what the Leader had told him about the Admins. "My Master told me you started up your own government only to gain power, to become tyrants, and then Flooders came in and destroyed you." The Admins all gave each other knowing glances.
"Do you think that's true?" Tango spoke up after a moment of silence.
"My Master has never lied to me," River quickly remarked, only afterwards realizing the untruthfulness in his statement. "Except . . . once," he followed up, staring down at his tea.
    "When was that?" John asked.
"He'd told me that the Flooders had destroyed all of the Admins, that you no longer existed."
"He probably wanted to keep you from coming here, to discover your past," Vader said. At first, River thought the Admin had said ‘our past', but at second thought, he realized he'd said ‘your past'.
"I don't have anything to do with you," River returned, acting with surprise, "I've been a Flooder all my life."
"River, you are connected to us," Tango began, only afterwards taking a deep breath, knowing what River's reaction would be to his next words. "Your father. He was an Admin."
The Leader's apprentice stopped, in shock, unable believe it. He didn't want to believe it. And the only thing that scared him more than the actual words he'd just heard, was the feeling he began to have creep into his body - the feeling that the words were the truth. He then shook his head and shot up from his chair, getting up and standing in a forceful pose as he stared out the window. "No, no, no," he moaned, shaking his head, trying to force away any possibility. But as he felt more and more that they were telling the truth, his shoulders dropped and his fists uncurled and he hung his head low, as if succumbing to the feeling with no other choice. "That's not true. It's impossible," he said with a lump in his throat.
"You and your father were trapped in the Flooder fleet when they came here, to this site, to attack us, twenty years ago. That was the fleet that carried the clone device. After we destroyed it, the entire fleet ran away. Along with you and your father, both of you trapped inside," Raptor-Rex explained, trying to deliver the blow softly.
"No. That can't be true," River continued to shake his head, his eyes shut . "My Master would have told me."
"I'm not sure he would have - and neither are you," JohnArnold observed. The man's frankness hit River hard, making him realize that he really didn't trust the Leader - plain and simple. "The Leader of the Flooders never told you about us Admins still existing. He never told you the truth about how the Admins began." Subtle curiosity overcame River, which prompted him to ask the next question.
"What is your version of how you Admins arose?" River asked, as if it took great pain to force the words out.
"‘Our version', as you call it, is the pure truth, River. Of that I promise you. The Flooders came to rise on Dan's JP3 Page a long, long time ago. They destroyed cities, raided homes, massacred -" JohnArnold was cut off.
"No, no, no, no!" River's moaning rose to a shout. He bolted against the wall, banging. His whole life seemed to be connecting together, all the questions he'd ever had being answers, all the stray puzzle pieces coming together to show the entire truth. He felt it was all true. But he couldn't except it, because if he did, everything he had been as a Flooder would be in shambles.
"I know how you feel. This is all hard to accept," Vader sighed, getting up from his chair and putting a hand on River's shoulder. "But River, the Admins were created to keep peace in the internet. The Flooders have only destroyed that." Vader took a moment and then continued. "I want you to forget you were raised by the Leader. Forget which side you're on. Just contemplate which is true - what we've told you and what you're master has told you."
River didn't reply as the words sank in. He couldn't. He could feel the Admin's stare on him. At last, Raptor-Rex made a relieving suggestion.
"Listen, why don't you return to your hut. You've had a long day," the Admin nodded. Thankful for the chance to rest, he slowly headed for the door, then turning around with a questioning glance that was overcome by sorrow.
"You aren't going to lock me up in that cage?" he asked.
"I don't think that's necessary," Vader flashed a warm smile.
River was genuinely surprised at the answer. Glad, he nodded and then exited. The Admins turned back to each other, sat down in silence, and then finished their drinks.

River stood atop his hut, looking out above the vast forest of huge trees covering te website. As the sun set far in the distance, on the horizon, he began to realize how tranquil, how peaceful it was here. And he had never experienced that feeling before. As a Flooder, he had always been in some moment of destruction or combat. He could truly rest his mind here and just be able to think, and it was the most refreshing feeling he'd ever had in his entire life.
At that moment, he began to feel almost like he had been to this place before. It was a familiar and welcoming place to him. He felt that, somehow, the Admins could be trusted.
But the emotion that was strongest right then was that of not wanting to return to his Master, the Leader of the Flooders.

The Leader of the Flooders stood next to Jedrek Div atop a high walkway, far above the hangar bay, staring down under them. The had just recently reached the old Wing Commander page, where they were planning to do away with the last of the escapees from their exploit of Gondolend.
"Have the headhunters found a sign of River yet?" the Leader asked as they strolled along, the hums of machinery and vehicles echoing towards them.
"They've reported to find fragments of an outer shell of an engine," Jedrek replied in his raspy voice. "From their studies of the parts, they seem to be broken from one of our own choppers."
"Were they found anywhere near a website?"
"They just said the fragments were found on the outer rim."
"We seem to be getting closer to my young apprentice, then."
"Yes, I agree." From behind, one of the Flooder scientists strut around next to them from a nearby door, bowing before the Leader, who smiled in approval.
"Ah," the Leader acknowledged him, "I trust you are preparing for our attack on the Power of the Password?"
"Yes, My Lord," the scientist snickered. "It will be day long remembered, for we will see the end of the Admins."
"You seem very confident," the Leader noted. The scientist half-expected to receive a rebuke, but was only given support when the Leader followed up with, "That is a good thing. And while you are preparing, I want you to look into if it could be possible to reverse the effect of breaking and immobilizing the Power of the Password." This took the scientist off-guard, for the request seemed to be slightly ridiculous.
    "Reverse?" he stuttered.
"Yes," the Leader nodded, turning his back to him to stare down at the hangar. "It has occurred to me that reversing the effect would provide us the most powerful weapon we could have against the Admins . . ."

River's eyes slowly slid open, as he was gradually awakened by the peaceful sound of chirping birds and bellowing of other creatures unbeknownst to him far off. He brought himself up out of his comfortable bed, drowsy. Getting on his feet with a yawn, he looked outside the window above him, into the tree-village, where rays of light shone through the trees into the town square. The morning fog was beginning to clear as he turned and exited his hut walked out.
Right after doing was when he again that saw that beautiful young woman outside her hut. She was practicing battle moves with a sword that was the same as the other Admins. Now, he had a better time to study her. She was indeed a fantastic fighter with great moves. Her face was radiantly beautiful, and her curvy body was the most sensual he'd ever seen. Slowly, he approached. When she didn't acknowledge him, River began to wonder if she was ignoring him or simply hadn't seen him.
"Those are nice weapons," he spoke, gesturing towards her sword. She seemed surprised that he even came to talk to her. But she just continued in her business, nevertheless.
"They sure are. Better than s in my opinion," she replied as she swung her body around, nearly smacking River's head. River took it as intentional, but he realized she'd done it in a playful manner. She turned her eyes to the side to study him. Just when River thought she was going to complement him on his handsomeness, she said in an unimpressed way, "You're a Flooder aren't you?"
"Ye- . . . well, I can't say," River stuttered, contemplating all the lies his Master had told him in anger. He then looked back to her. "Can I ask your name?"
"And why should I give you my name?" she asked.
"Because I might be stuck here for a very, very, very long time," River returned as he emphasized each ‘very'. It was then she swiped around at his feet and swung up as his neck. River jumped back, avoiding being nicked.
"‘Stuck' . . . or just wanting to stay here?" River's tone then became more serious as he stared off, past her.
"I don't know. I'm very confused right now," he admitted. "My old Master lied to me, he didn't trust me. I don't know if I could ever go back to being his apprentice again." She seemed surprised once again, he'd told her that in such a frank manner. She paused, panting and returned her sword to its holder on her belt, turning to look at hi directly.
"Well, my name is Para," she divulged.
"Nice to meet you," River smiled. "Where do those swords come from anyway? I've never seen anything like them."
"We've made them from the strong metal found below this site's surface. They can penetrate almost anything, except, of course, another sword. They'll even burn if you set them on fire and when you're done, just put out the fire and they'll still be as good new. Real handy to set them on fire while dueling too. Gives you an advantage," Para na as she twirled the sword, shimmering in the sunlight.
"Hmm . . . Is there any way I can pick one up?"
"Heh," she smiled. "You'd have to be a full-fledged Admin to ever wield one of these." At the word ‘Admin', River remembered something.
"Did you ever know my father?"
"No . . ." Para said seriously, sorrow coming into her voice. "But my mother did, JurassicChik."
"I see," River sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair, stress beginning to run through him again. "I still can't believe he was an Admin."
"I know it's hard to accept. In a way I feel bad for you. I can imagine the feeling of being torn between two worlds."
"Yes," River nodded. Then he looked around, in question. "Where is Vader or Raptor- Rex, anyway?"
"They're down practicing on the Admin training course below. Just take the elevator down," she told him, for the first time, smiling.
"Thank you. And it was nice meeting you."
"Sure," Para nodded, her smile fading as she went on with her sword practice.
River walked across the square, and entered into the elevator. He copied the best he could the way he'd seen Vader do it when they had taken the elevator up that first time, glancing back to give a quick stare to Para before he proceeded downward. He finally reached the bottom, where is was there he saw a group of the Admins on identifiable the training course, making out of fallen trees, branches, park, and pools of water. It was Vader, Raptor-Rex, JohnArnold, Tango, Cyros, Rancor, and another woman he hadn't seen before, standing there, sipping some of the cool water they'd collected from their hands.
When Vader saw River approach from the corner of his eyes, he quickly finished his water and wiped his hands on his robes, walking forward. The woman he hadn't seen before was eying him with splendor, becoming emotional for a reason he didn't understand. "Oh River! Glad to see you've joined us!" Vader smiled patting his shoulder.
    "Thank you," River nodded.
"Are you alright? I began to worry about you last night," Raptor-Rex said knowingly. River nodded once again with a sigh, closing his eyes briefly, and then opening them.
    "Yes, yes. I'm fine."
"River, we've been waiting to introduce you to someone," Rancor took the initiative.
The woman he'd noticed came up and approached River. She had that complete look of stun in her face, enduring, tears welling up in her eyes. "Oh, River. Oh, God I haven't seen you in so long," she sobbed, unable to contain herself. River eyed her, completely unsure of what she was talking about.
"Who are you?" he asked gently. She stared at him just a little longer and then ran forward, giving him a huge embrace. She held on . Not sure what else to do, River slowly patted her back, comforting her, as he looked on at the Admins.
"River, I don't know how else to tell you this but . . . this is your mother," JohnArnold spoke, "Her name is Becka Lynn." River was in shock once more. Yet another revelation was told to him by these Admins. He couldn't believe he was holding his mother in his arms, it was too good to be true. She squeezed him once more and then looked back up at him. That face . . . now that delve deep into those eyes, was so familiar. Memories, very sublte memories, crept back into his brain, of a woman who looked just like this, only much younger. His entire life, he'd wondered about his mother and father, and now . . . finally . . . he was holding the one who'd given birth to him in his arms.
"It is you," River whispered with a lump in his throat. "I can tell." In a burst of emotion, they hugged again, as the Admins looked on with a touched smile.

Raptor-Rex jumped down from the Admin training course to a relaxing Vader and JohnArnold, sitting at the bottom of the admin course. He wiped the sweat from his brow in a quick motion and returned his sword to its holster with a metal-sliding sound. "Nice run," Vader complemented.
"Thanks," Raptor-Rex nodded, while panting. "Did the others go back up to the village?"
"Yeah, let's get going," John suggested, standing up in the warmth of the sun. "I'm in the mood for an ice cold fern mix," he smiled, turning around in the direction of their homes. Suddenly, the Admin stopped, staring up into the sky, his smile having been replaced with a look of dread. Something very, very, very large was coming their way. In fact, it was an entire fleet. "My God, its the Flooders," he breathed.
Raptor-Rex and Vader turned their heads upward to see them as well. But they were far less concerned then their comrade. "Calm down, John. The Power of the Password will protect us," Raptor-Rex reminded him, wiping off his chin full of sweat with his outer tunic.
"But why would they come back here unless . . . . oh no," JohnArnold said in a low tone of voice, gulping.
    "What is it?" Vader questioned.
"Do you remember when that small Flooder plane came here a few years back, just to hover over the site?"
    "Sure."
"They must have been collecting samples of the force feild. If they've . . . ." Before he could continue, there was a small beep from Raptor-Rex's pocket. He pulled out a small radio out from its pouch on his belt and turned it on as the other kept glaring up at the fast approaching vehicles above them.
"What is the matter?" Raptor-Rex inquired into his microphone.
"This is Cyros! The Power of the Password is down! I repeat the Power of the Password is down!" the return came. All of them were jolted when hearing these words.
"Oh damned Hell!" Raptor-Rex uttered under his breathe.

The Leader of the Flooders looked out over the Unnamed Site. He wasn't sitting in his throne, but standing, anticipating a report from the Flooder scientists that had landed aboard their ship. He glared down as the lush green site, with a satisfied sigh. This day marked the end of the Admins once and for all - certainly a powerful feeling. They would reverse the effect of the Power of the Password and completely destroy, once and for all time, their sanctuary. He gave a smile dripping with evil as his fists clenched together. Oh how he d those Admins and what they stood for.
Behind him, the elevator door suddenly whisked open. Sure enough, it was the report he'd been waiting for. "My Lord. We have completely shut down the Power of the Password. The Admins are helpless," the scientist bowed, afterwards giving a snicker at their conquer.
"Excellent commander. Begin the process or reversing the effect of their shield. Turning the Power of the Password inside out, and reversing its protection will them all in one swift stroke!"
"Yes, My Lord. I shall begin the countdown."

Raptor-Rex, Vader, and JohnArnold raced across the village square. The Admins were all scurrying like squirrels, everywhere, exchanging words of courage, words of sadness, and words of defeat. River stood in the midst of it all, not knowing what was going on, his head whirling in all directions. He noticed his mother, Becka-Lynn, was busy throwing packs into mini-choppers docked at the south end of the village. Something must be wrong. It was then he saw Vader and Raptor-Rex with a group nearby. He rushed over, asking with confusion, "What's happening?!"
"The Flooders have arrived and they've blown our protection," Vader quickly explained,
"We only have a short while to get out of here before we are all blown to smithereens."
"My Master is here?!" River exclaimed.
"That's one thing I can be sure of," JohnArnold smirked, glancing up at the sky once again. Vader's mind was only on one thing at the moment, however.
"River, will you come with us?" he asked sincerely. River d the question the moment he heard it.
"Well, I . . ." He was speechless. Amidst all this hurry and strife he was forced to make a huge decision, one of the most important he could ever make - go with the Admins or go with the Flooders. His mind whirred. Everything the Admins had told him were true and all the things his master had told him where completely false. Besides that . . . his mother. The one who had given him birth and who actually knew his father . . . but the Flooders had been his whole life . . . and . . . and . . .
"I will meet you again, Admins. I will return," he finally stated, flashing them a look of wholehearted gratefulness mixed with determination. At that, River spun and went running off to one of mini-choppers behind him. Becka looked up at him to see him jump inside and immediately take off.
"No!" she cried, realizing her last family member was leaving her once again.
"No, River, no!" JohnArnold yelled. But it was too late - River's mini-chopper was already beginning to disappear across the horizon.
"I'm going after him!" Raptor-Rex quickly decided. He jumped into another mini- chopper, speeding off just as Vader jumped on the back of the craft with him to be whisked away as well. JohnArnold stood staring after them, his jaw dropping.
"After years of this, I'm still not used to it," he sighed. At that, Cyros came running out of a nearby hut with Rancor, Post Grant, Evilgrinch, JurassicChik, Para, Compyraptor and many others. John, whirled, ready to get down to business.
"Alright everyone, listen up, cause we haven't got much time," he began. "Five of you each get into a mini-chopper. Our main goal now is to just make it past the fleet up there. We have no hope of winning this battle against them with our limited amount of fighters. After we get past, head for jp3hq.com. I'll assign everyone their own, seperate route to the site just to make sure no Flooders will follow. Everything clear?"
Everyone gave an acknowledgment and then went running for their crafts without any further hesitation.

River manned the controls of the unique mini-chopper as he got closer to the fleet. Although the controls were foreign to him, he got the hang of it quickly. He loved the feel of the craft, it felt somehow familiar. Nevertheless, he payed attention to the difficult task of getting back inside the fleet. He zipped into the hangar bay of the Flooder mother-craft, s blazing at him from inside. He expertly evaded the fire with only a few shots grazing him, and skidded into the bay, jumping out of the Admin craft, immediately running for cover.
The last of the left-over Flooder clones he had come to despise were firing upon him like mad-men. It was just like them, he thought, to assume he was an Admin simply because he was piloting Admin craft. With fury, he charged up his laser pointer and aimed it at several large barrels set behind the troops of clones. He burned a hole through and immediately there was a monumental flash, as clones went flying everywhere, on fire.
Without any bullets whizzing after him, River went running down the hallway in the second's opportunity. He never even noticed yet another Admin mini-chopper coming into the hangar bay after him from behind, carrying Vader and Raptor-Rex . . .

Five classic Admin mini-choppers came rocketing up from the Unnamed Site, JohnArnold piloting the lead with Para, Rancor, Cyros, and Tango in the seats behind him. "Stay in formation!" John commanded over the comm, turning his controls just slightly. At that point there was a sudden jolt as they were exiting the atmosphere of the site - jolt that knocked them backwards, almost out of their seats, for no apparent reason. After the recovery, another pilot reported in over the com.
"What's going on here? I've never felt anything like that before?" Evilgrinch asked, dazed. John heard the commotion from the worried Admin passengers in his craft in the background of EG's microphone transmission.
"I'm not sure," John admitted, becoming more worried than anyone else by the second.

"The countdown is over, My Lord," the scientist announced with glee, checking the modulator on his wrist. "We are initiating the atoms of the Power of the Password to reverse inside out."
"Fantastic," the Leader cackled, still staring outside of his throne room balcony at the Unnamed Site below. "Those Admins won't escape us." He'd waited so long for this moment. To finally destroy the last trace of the Admins, those pathetic knights that stood for peace and for justice, who actually thought they could defeat the Flooders thirty years ago. But they did not foresee the Leader's ingenious plan. They were proven wrong defeated back then, and they would be defeated now. This time . . . the defeat would be permanent.

All of the Admin mini-choppers began to be pulled backward towards the surface of the site by an invisible and extraordinary force. Everyone felt like they were being sucked to their doom as the pilots examined the blurting alarms from their pilot consoles on the control boards. All them reporting in over the comm to JohnArnold. "Thrust your engines up to full power!" Post Grant shouted.
"Too late!" Compyraptor yelled. With a another huge jolt backwards, Compyraptor's mini-chopper went plummeting down towards the surface, exploding in a huge flash or orange amongst the trees, taking all its passengers with it.
    "No!" JurassicChik screamed.
"Hold on everyone!" JohnArnold exclaimed. There was another fantastic pulling force, only this time it wasn't just a quick jolt - it was lasting for a long time. All the ships were zooming backwards, the engines catching on fire from being sucked under such high power. The immense heat charred the side of the ships and an incredibly loud, and painful noise like the Admins had never heard before sounded.
Seeing no other way to make it out of the situation, JohnArnold whipped down a special compartment on the control board. Inside were several highly modified adaptations he had made to the mini-choppers. He fooled with the wiring and other things and then pulled back on a lever on the controls. The entire ship was suddenly jerked forward, bursting out of the immense force pulling them forwards at a steady rate, leaving the other mini-choppers behind.
"John my parents are down there!" Para screamed.
    "So is Becka-Lynn!" Tango yelled.
"Wait, I'm going to instruct them on how to boost the engines just like I did," John replied flipping the comm on. Before he could begin, the entire world seemed to spin and everything became a hazy, orange blur. When everyone in John's craft looked back at the Unnamed Site, it exploded in the biggest, most massive destruction imaginable as a ring of fire expanded forth from the center of the blow, ripping the rest of the Admin mini-choppers apart and flinging their shards away.
"No, God, no!" Cyros yelled, practically ripped his hair out in intense lamentation. And that was it. Their home for the past twenty years, the only thing left of the Admin legacy, and all the other Admins caught in the explosion, were gone. It was all gone from existence. Gone....

River was smacked up against the side of the wall of the corridor he moved through, inside the Flooder mother craft, the second huge jolt that had hit the vessel. He steadied himself a little while longer against the wall to make sure no more were coming and then continued on his way.
He rounded a corner and entered a very familiar elevator to him. Entered it quickly, his pistol ready and took it up. Just as the elevator doors closed around him, taking him upwards, shadows of two figures with swords rounded the corner, following him.

Bullet fire blasted out at the lone Admin mini-chopper, carrying JohnArnold, Tango, Cyros, Para, and Rancor, swerving in between the several huge and small ships in the Flooder fleet, barrages nicking the side of it as it did so. "They are relentless," Rancor breathed, still terrified from the destruction of website.
"Look at their changing formation," JohnArnold noted, "All of their aircraft are coming together to close gaps in between so we can't escape." And it was true. All the ships were huddling together, forming a ring around the tiny mini-chopper.
Another bullet hit directly on one of the mini-chopper engines, causing it to explode as the aircraft went into a burst of spiraling. "Can't you control it?" Cyros exclaimed to their pilot.
"I'm trying!" JohnArnold grumbled. His fingers raced across the control panels, trying to stabilize their last two engines. Another shot rang out. Behind, in a quick flash, the next engine broke off. There was only one left. Sweat pouring down his face, John continued to race over the controls. He quickly shut off the engine, although they continued to spin for what seemed like infinity. JohnArnold then shut on the engine, lowered its power, and then evenly distributed all power. Once the spinning stopped, he quickly went back to full power. They rocketed forward normally and everybody let out a sigh.
But there wasn't much time for relaxing. Just ahead was a super-thin opening between the two largest ships in the fleet . . .

Inside the mother ship, a first-class admiral monitored the action in a screening room just outside the hangar bay. "That last Admin mini-chopper is heading in between the gap," he announced to the other commanders in the room. "I don't believe they are even trying such a feat." He then turned around to a man stationed at the door, who saluted him. "Officer, send out our fleets. Have BrianW14 lead."

River exited the elevator and stepped into a very dark room, dimly lit. As his eyes grew accustomed to the level of blackness, he made out a short flight of stairs that led up to a throne, which was facing a balcony that looked out onto a backdrop of stars that contained a slight, deep orange haze from the blast that had just destroyed the Unnamed Site. He stepped forward and walked up the stairs as a blue light eerily lit up its glow from above and the throne turned to face him. Sitting in it was his Master, and standing beside it was one of the Flooder scientists.
"So, you've been hiding out with the Admins, my young apprentice?" the Leader sneered in disapproval, his voice full of liness. Before, it would have begun to intimidate River to see the Leader like this. But not this time - he was too angry, too determined.
"I am no longer your apprentice," he returned with a scowl and a voice full of anger. "You never trusted me. All you did was hide the truth of my past from me. And now you will pay." River whipped out his , aiming to fire, as the scientist did the same and the Leader began to lunge forward. Suddenly, two figures shot through the air from behind, doing a flip and landing next to him. It was Vader and Raptor-Rex, their swords drawn in defense stance.
    "This party's over," Vader remarked.
"River, we have no time for this confrontation," Raptor-Rex told the young man. "You must leave now with us or else you may never see the Admins again. We must escape."
"I want to-" River was cut off as he expressed his will to dispose of his old Master.
"We will return to the Leader of the Flooders eventually. But now is not the time! You must come with the Admins now!"
"I do not think any of you are going anywhere," the Leader bellowed. He leaped from his pose, picking up the scientist with his bare hands. The scientist kicked and screamed as he was hurled strait at Raptor-Rex, who was slammed to the floor. The Leader took advantage of the moment of distraction and grabbed Raptor-Rex's sword, whipping it up in attack position. He went to slash Vader's throat immediately, but the Admin blocked.
As Vader stared at the Leader, and the Leader stared at him, both of their swords interlocking, Vader called to Raptor-Rex and River, "Go!"
As hesitant Raptor-Rex grabbed River's arm and began running. But the young man pulled away. "We can't just leave Vader here!" he exclaimed.
"He's just going to hold him off long enough for us to escape. Don't worry... we shall meet him again," Raptor-Rex sighed, knowing full well the sacrifice his long-time friend was making now, and why it needed to be done. With a glance of respect to Vader, turned it, he was running of with River to the elevator, leaving the two fighters alone.

JohnArnold sped in between two of the massive Flooder aircraft. Several Flooders were following behind them, bullets blasting out at the Admins. Those bullets were pinging across the Admins' mini-chopper, scarring it badly. It was definitely going to be a close call, if they made it. "They're going to destroy us for sure!" a stressful Rancor breathed. As he said it, towers on the side of the equators of the huge Flooder aircrafts shot out at them, from either side, barraging them even more. Alarms sounded all over their mini-chopper, announcing the eventual breakdown the craft was doomed to experience if this didn't stop.
"We have to make it!" John determinedly sighed, focusing as best he could on the space ahead of him. Rancor then stopped, and contemplated, looked behind, and then forward, back and forth.
And then, as if having made a firm decision, Rancor said, "You're right, John. We do." At that, he rushed to very the back of the mini-chopper and sat down in a small seat.
"Rancor! No!" Tango cried as the other realized what he was doing.
"This is the only way," Rancor shook his head gripping some gear located on the side of the seat. "Farewell, my friends." With a last mournful look, Rancor pressed a lever and ejected a small pod from the back of the mini-chopper that consumed him, and went flying out of the mini- chopper at breakneck speed.
    "No!" Cyros yelled again.
"He can't be doing this!" John exclaimed, glancing back at where his old friend had been. Rancor's pod went rocketing towards the piloting skyhook on the top of the mammoth Flooder craft to their right. The entire hook blew to pieces.

BrianW14 watched in horror as the massive ship on the side of them began to plummet due to the pilots being destroyed inside the skyhook. "All troops, abandon pursuit of the Admins! Run for your lives!" he yelled. He did a loop backwards and fled the scene with other Flooder choppers behind him, just barely avoiding the path of the doomed craft that began to crash.

Raptor-Rex and River raced into the deserted hangar bay, where River had wiped out all the clones that had occupied it. Without waiting, Raptor-Rex lead him into the Admin mini- chopper he and Vader had come in, buckling up. "We aren't leaving without Vader are we?" River quickly asked, anxious for the answer. Raptor-Rex gave another sigh.
"I don't plan to," he returned. Deep down however, as painful as it was, Raptor-Rex knew Vader would want him to save River and leave if it came to such....

Vader's sword met the Leader's with a hard blow. He whipped around and leaped upward, blocking a blow to him back in mid-air. He landed behind the Leader, swiping at his neck, who, in turn, whirled backwards and kicked Vader across the room. He ran over and slashed at his legs, but Vader hopped to avoid it, just barely missing.
The Leader flipped backwards, pressing some buttons on his throne armrest. Immediately, torches lit across the room. The villain then jumped Vader, slashing and his sword and delivering a powerful blow. Once Vader was almost crushed against one of the torches, he saw the Leader's plan - to burn him to by backing him into the fire. Thinking fast, the Admin swiped his sword through the flames, igniting the blade entirely on fire. He backed away from the torches to a long, narrow walkway extending over a huge drop through the air craft's power core. He waved his flaming sword back and forth to fend from the evil Leader.
Hearing footsteps, the Admin turned to see something horrible - behind him were four royal guards with machine s, closing in. He was trapped, from both ends of the narrow walkway. With no other choice, Vader leaped off sideways, falling far below into the power core, disappearing far, far, far, down in the fall....

JohnArnold accelerated in the narrow gap between the two massive Flooder behemoths. Just meters behind JohnArnold, Cyros, Tango, and Para's mini-chopper, the ship on the right hand side was colliding with the one on the left, fire exploding as the sides of the crafts smashed into each other, as a result of Rancor's sacrifice in destroying the pilots of the craft on the right side. "Almost there . . . Almost there . . ." John whispered, staring straight ahead at the end of both crafts, leaning tensely over the controls. If they could just reach that point, get out of the space between them and beyond, then they could survive.
Sweat was pouring from everyone's face. The fire was just behind them and was practically engulfing their last working engine. Finally, they reached tail end of both huge vessels. They sped out into open space, appearing as if the pursuing fire had spat them out, as both vehicles behind them completely blew up. "That was way, way too close..." John sighed as he began to ease back into his chair.
Everyone gave a cheer - a half hearted one, because most of the Admins had been destroyed in the Unnamed Site's destruction, and there was still no sign of Vader and Raptor-Rex with River. JohnArnold checked his scope to see where those three others could possibly be.

Raptor-Rex tapped some buttons on the controls on the Admin mini-chopper he and River sat in. There was a small beeping that kept repeating itself. "What's the matter?" River inquired.
"A message incoming," Raptor-Rex sternly said as he payed attention to getting them message to play on the monitor before him. The message finally blinked across the screen, reading simply, "Hanging from power core - Vader". Raptor-Rex wasn't sure what to make of it but River jumped when he read it.
"We can save him! We have to be quick!" he yelled, jumping in his seat. He whirled around, pointing to the other end of the hangar. "Blast through the left wall!" Raptor-Rex prepared to do so, trusting River knew what he was talking about. Just then, several Flooders came running in from behind as backup to replace those River had destroyed earlier. They began to set up a huge cannon to bast the mini-chopper. "Hurry!"
Raptor-Rex spun around, whipping the engines up to medium speed. He held down on the controls, rapid firing at the left wall of the hangar. The clones, meanwhile, were almost done setting up their turbo-cannon. They aimed and...
Raptor-Rex's rapid fire exploded the wall, causing it to cave in. He immediatly stepped on the gas and they went rocketing through to the other side of the wall, the cannon blast from the Flooders missing them by millimeters.

Vader hung on for his dear life on a pipe ejecting from the side of the long drop through the power core. He knew he couldn't hold on much longer, as the pipe creaked and groaned under his weight. His sweaty palms were beginning to slip and he knew any quick movements would cause him to fall. He gulped, clasping his eyelids , hoping that Raptor-Rex had received the message he'd sent.

The path Raptor-Rex and River traveled through was extremely narrow - all sorts of pipes, equipment, and other things indistinguishable were ejecting from the sides. Raptor-Rex made quick jerky movement with the controls to as not to collide with anything. Taking longer than they had hoped, they reached the end of the maze, which was a long cylinder-like, vertical drop went down to the power generator below them. A fall down this cavern would certainly crush someone who hit the bottom.
"Going up," he pressed a lever and the craft moved strait upward at a fast rate. Far above them, Vader hung all on his own to the side of the drop.
"There he is!" River exclaimed, pointing toward the beaten and dangling Admin.
"Good. I'm going to pull up beside him and you grab him." Raptor-Rex did just that and parked the mini-chopper, hanging in mid-air as River leaned out to grasp Vader. Raptor-Rex couldn't help but feel nervous about the situation: not only was his Admin friend since childhood close to a fatal free-fall, but he also felt vulnerable hanging in mid-air like this - especially in a Flooder vessel.
As he thought of it, bullet fire rang out. On the other side of the power core, the Leader of the Flooders stood with a huge troop of Flooders backing him up. They all fired repeatedly at the mini-chopper, hitting it directly every time. "Hurry, River! We can't sustain this damage!" Raptor-Rex yelled.
River grunted, still not being able to quite reach Vader. He kept reaching until finally, Vader could hold on no longer, his hands whipping away from the pipe as it broke in two. "No!" River leaped half-way out of the mini-chopper and grabbed Vader's hands again, hanging out of the vehicle window just by his feet. He was jerked back and forth, swinging over the drop as the mini-chopper reached horrible condition. Over and over it was hit with bullets against the backdrop of the sound of the Leader of the Flooders' cackling.
"Let me go, River! You two will never make it if you don't leave now!" Vader urged.
"I won't let go, I won't let go!" River emotionally replied.
One of the mini-chopper's engines exploded, and then the second one. Parts of the chopper were being set aflame. Everything was falling apart. Vader and Raptor-Rex were hanging and he was determined not to let go. Raptor-Rex could not leave the core with his passengers hanging out. They were literally being ed, just hanging there, unable to do a thing. Their lives were about to be cut short with the next set of bullets.
From below, another Admin mini-chopper came rocketing towards them, blocking the Flooder's line of fire at Raptor-Rex's mini-chopper and returning missiles at them. "Sorry to break up the good time!" JohnArnold called out from the pilot's seat. Now able to rely on JohnArnold's help, Raptor-Rex leaned over and grabbed River's feet, pulling him and Vader upward into the craft. After what seemed like endless struggle, he was able to bring them back inside the mini-chopper.
"I can't thank you enough," Vader panted after the ordeal as he buckled up.
"No problem. We're out of here!" Raptor-Rex said, jamming their remaining engine to rev up for the escape. "Ready, John?" Raptor-Rex called into the comm system.
"Ready! Go!" JohnArnold came back. Both mini-choppers zoomed downward with the Flooders and their Leader still firing away. They journeyed back through the aircraft's hangar bay, and out away. Both of them accelerating their engines, they blasted away from the Flooder fleet and disappearing in the distance.

The Leader of the Flooders sat in his throne, peering out onto the vast internet. All of the clones that had been left over from twenty years before were gone. Thanks to the Admins and River, there weren't any clones left after they had run a muck through his ship. Only normal soldiers were left. He had no clone device, for it had been destroyed twenty years ago as well. There was no means of reproducing massive armies in minutes. And the Admins were off roaming who-knew-where throughout the internet, and River . . . his prized apprentice was with him.
The Leader clenched his teeth and held his fist firm.
He would get revenge. He would. So enough, he would wipe out the Admins forever . . .

Raptor-Rex, Vader, JohnArnold, River, Tango, Cyros, and Para all landed on jp3hq.com on a landing pad in the middle of their capitol city. Their unscheduled arrival attracted a huge crowd, who came to greet them with curiosity. When the mini-choppers' ramps unfolded and the Admins exited, everyone ran forward and embraced them joyously. The Ruler of jp3hq, a pompous fellow with a white beard, came through the crowd to meet them.
"The Admins! What an overwhelming surprise!" he exclaimed. "The entire internet thought you had been wiped out years ago!" He embraced them with tears, as did everyone else. "We can't tell you how good it is to see the noble fighters for freedom and peace once again!"
"It isn't that easy for Flooders to get rid of us," Cyros smiled.
"Unfortunately, they still have gotten rid of many of the Admins. We are the only ones left," John informed the ruler.
Although saddened by this news, the ruler continued, "Well it is important that you are here with us, still. We are so glad to see you once again. Come, we shall find you shelter and nourishment. I can set up repair for your ships. Come, come!"

In a large memorial dome, a huge fire was lit in the center of the room. Some of jp3hq's inhabitants were there surrounding it in this traditional ritual. All of the Admins stood with them as well, their hoods covering their sorrowful faces. The pyre had the names of Dan Finkelstien and all the Admins that had died. "We will miss them," Raptor-Rex whispered to himself as he stood next to his comrades.
As River stared into the flames, recalled everything that had happened in the past few days, he asked, "What's going to happen to me now?"
"It is up to you. What do you want River?" JohnArnold asked in return. With a sigh, River closed his eyes for a moment, and then reopened them again, looking away from the fire and in the faces of the Admins next to him.
"I . . . I want to learn the ways of the Admins, and become one . . . just like my father," he told them truthfully.
"You will be," Vader nodded, patting him on the shoulder. "You will be an Admin, River. On behalf of Beno-Yo, I promise."

The next day was brilliant one in the city's main street. All of the inhabitants cheered as the site's huge beasts of burden carried the Admins down the line of crowds towards the palace at the end. Fireworks lit up the sky above as the Admins reached the steps that led to the plaza in front of the palace, where the Ruler of jp3hq awaited. They all got off of their beasts and walked up the stairs to meet the ruler with his councilmen, who presented Raptor-Rex, Vader, River, JohnArnold, Tango, Cyros, and Para with a large trophy, holding it up high into the air as the cheers became louder.
River smiled in this moment of happiness, feeling overjoyed at how he had emerged from the oppressiveness and darkness of being part of the Flooders, and into the new hope of Admin training. He gave nods of respect to his two new masters, Raptor-Rex and Vader. He nodded to admirable JohnArnold and the other Admins that were smiling behind him. And then . . . he smiled at the gorgeous Para, who looked even more stunning than when he had first seen her in the tree-village.
    The celebration was truly fantastic.
Cries of rejoicing filled the air, rising to a crescendo, as the scores of jp3hq's inhabitants yelled, "The Admins have returned!"

    THE END
    (Written by Vader)

ICEBREAKER: So after the success of the FIRST trilogy how did you set out in designing the plot and overall feel of the second trilogy?

VADER: In the beginning, it was very hard. I knew I wanted the new trilogy to take place 20 years later, so I wanted a realistic evolution of all the characters and places we'd already seen in the originals. I didn't want everything to be exactly the same. I also wanted the personalities of the characters to be very appropriate.

I: Did you want to expand on any of the characters?

V: Pretty much everyone was expanded upon except for the Leader of the Flooders - who's always been evil and never changes. Within a single episode, I knew River was going to be a Flooder in the beginning and then realize that the Admins are the true fighters for peace and justice - therefore, I didn't want him to be a wicked person, I wanted him to be a person who starts out as a deceived and confused villain who thinks he is doing the right thing. His portrayal was very hard because there was fine line on how to do it. Also, I wanted the Admins to have become wiser - since they've matured 20 years. I wanted them to be more serious, focused individuals, but I still wanted to maintain their original personalities.

I: With Episode IV in your Site Wars trilogy, did you feel like you had to come up with something new and to keep the fans interested?

V: Well, when I'm writing Site Wars, I'm mainly concerned about how best to tell the story. There isn't all that many new things in Episode 4 - all of the characters are familiar, and most of the time is spent on a site from the originals. But it is REQUIRED to tell the story. It's up to the fans on wether they like this particular episode or not. But I do my best to please the fans as well, don't get me wrong. The main purpose of this episode didn't really have room for a lot of new things, since most of the time is spent on River discovering the Admins.

I: How did you react to the response this particular story received?

V: Concerning the majority of good reactions, I was very happy as I always am. However, a couple reactions were a bit on the negative side, and I take those opinions to better my work.

I: Did you always intend for the saga to go as it did...or did you have to improvise along the way?

V: A lot of improvision was needed. I'm very concerned about the best way to tell the story, and I take all the time I need in order to explain it the best way possible. Therefore, sometimes I realize an idea I had isn't the best way to tell the story, I reject it and come up with a new one.

I: What was your biggest challenge with writing this story?

V: Dealing with River's transition from being a member of the Flooders to joining the Admins - that was the most difficult. I wanted the transition to be realistic and not to be too fast. So I worked hard at it till I got to the point where I was very happy with the transition process.

I: What inspired you for the title of this EPISODE?

V: Since these stories are influenced by Star Wars, I pattern the titles of the episodes after the Star Wars titles. The beginning of each Star Wars trilogy always has a three-word-title. And since the story of this episode revolved around River's being lied to by the Leader of the Flooders, or blinded from the truth, so to speak, I decided to name it The Dark Veil.
