Extinction Jurassic Park---Theatrical Trailer

Before you read this, I'll just say that this was posted in December of 2001, after several rewrittes, the screenplay didn't seem to work out the way I wanted it. The copy turned out to be around 375 pages long. After abbandoning the project, I began on the novel "Extinction". Similar to the type of storyline of The Lost World novel. But, I was thinking of posting the screenplay on the site. PLEASE COMMENT, tell me if you'd like to read it. It's long, but very suspensful, and some good twists. Some of the characters have the same names as the novels, but competely different personalities and parts in the story, for instance, Levine works for BioSyn. But please, COMMENT, tell me what you think. Thanks.
The Picture is Black...
“All dinosaurs on Isla Sorna and remaining creatures on Isla Nublar have been destroyed by military and armed forces…” We hear from a CNN newscasters voice..
The Universal Spinning Planet Logo appears on the screen..
The Picture on a television comes on the screen with an CNN Special Report..
“The company of Ingen, has gone completely bankrupt.. No one wants to maintain security of the islands, and it is considered a danger to any human who comes in contact with them..” The voice of the News Anchorman says..
We hear the voice of Elli Sattler.. “Oh my God..”
We fade into the trailer with John Hammond and Allen Grant..
Allen listening closely to what John is saying..
“Biosyn is picking up where we left off, and we must stop them.. They don’t know what was involved in creating those dinosaurs..” John says..
The island of Isla Nublar is pictured..
“What was John..??” Allen asks..
“Will you do what I asked or not?” John asks..
Allen looks at John and sighs.. As the camera pans in on Allen’s face..
“No danger involved Allen..” John reassures..
LIGHTNING AND THUNDER STRIKE IN A BLACKENED, STORMY SKY..
As the words:
GOD CREATES DINOSAURS..
Come across the screen..
We see Allen drinking a Guinness listening to Ian Malcolm’s ramblings at a bar…
“This is absolutely ridiculous.. Why are they even attempting to make more dinosaurs.. Th-Th-This is Chaos..” Malcolm complains..
MORE LIGHTING AND THUNDER STRIKES IN THE STORMY SKY..
GOD DESTROYS DINOSAURS…
Comes across the screen..
We see the helicopter containing Allen Grant, Elli Sattler, Nick Van Owen, Billy Brenan, Ian Malcolm, and John Hammond cutting through the sky flying low over Isla Nublar..
The original music with the slowly rising chorus in the background plays…
LIGHTNING AND THUNDER STRIKES THE STORMY SKY AGAIN..
GOD CREATES MAN…
The original music with the slowly rising chorus in the background plays again..
“Fantasy, Pure Fantasy.. That’s the only thing on Lewis Dodson’s mind..” We hear the voice of Henry Wu… As he is then pictured speaking to two Biosyn representatives..
LIGHTNING AND THUNDER STRIKES A FOURTH TIME…
MAN CREATES DINOSAURS…
Comes across the screen
“I’ll only tell you one mission name.. And one man..
Put the pieces together and you’ll figure it out..” Dr. Wu tells them..
Cut to:
We see a large red circle around a small section between two mountains on a map on Dodson’s desk..
The place circled is the Hidden Valley in The ZAIRE BASIN, AFRICA….
“MEN!! We’re going to the Zaire Basin, Africa!!” A man named Gary Marseilles says to his Special Ops Team..
LIGHTING AND THUNDER FURIOUSLY STRIKES AGAIN..
SOMETHING UNEXPECTED…..
Comes across the screen…
We see a two Pterodactyls colliding with the plane..
LIGHTNING AND THUNDER STRIKES SEVERAL TIMES…
IS ENCOUNTERED…..
Comes across the screen.
A fast paced music begins as we see the camera then flashes to several different action sequences in the movie:
We see the herd of huge Triceratops running toward the camera, destroying their base camp as they flip over the trailer containing Ian, Nick, and Dodson..
The camera then goes to Allen, Ian, Elli, Billy, and Nick running though a herd of Iguandalon.. Nearly getting smashed between two of them.. Then we see one of them bringing it’s head down next to Allen’s as he is running through the herd..
The camera then goes to The Raptors in the room with the two way mirror.. Allen looking through the glass at the Raptors on the other side..
We see a dilophosaurus opening its large fin on it’s head at a soldier..
Then the music stops.. We see a small cup of water on an airplane tray..
Perfect Rings begin to form in the glass of water.. We hear a vibrating sound..
“That’s an impact pulsation.. I’m very alerted by this..” Malcolm says looking at the cup of water… “We gotta get the hell outta here..” We hear a Definitive T-Rex roar..
The music begins again..
We see a Tyrannosaurus Rex lifting up a plane in it’s jaws and throwing it down to the floor..
We then see an adult female Tyrannosaurus Rex, and an adult male T-Rex, side by side, in the faces of Elli, Kathy, Wallace, and Levine..
Camera cuts to a huge plesiosaurus swimming after them in the water..
Camera then cuts to a Carnotaur smashing through the bubble window of the ford explorer..
We see Allen screaming at Dodson..-- “ELLI SATTLER IS SOMEWHERE IN THIS VALLEY! AND I’M NOT STOPPING UNTIL I FIND HER!”
The camera then zooms out of a huge Tyrannosaurus Rex footprint..
We see a Suchomimus burst out of the foliage trying to pick up raptors in its jaws as the people run for their lives..
Fast Paced music stops…
We see Allen leading the way through underground boroughs..
Allen jumps at the sound of Nick’s snapshot camera..
We zoom out of a Raptor Nest containing crushed eggs..
“It looks like Biosyn didn’t correct all of Ingen’s mistakes..” Allen says…
Music Starts Again
We cut to a short clip of the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Spinosaurus fighting in the visitors center, the T-Rex’s tail knocking down a portion of the ceiling..
The camera then cuts to the Tyrannosaurus Rex chasing after a raft in a rough river between two cliffs, roaring very loudly with it’s humongous jaws wide open..
We then see a T-Rex’s foot smash into the water, making a huge foot print in the mud, the rain water from above and the water from the river fills up the footprint as we see the reflection of lightning in the puddle..
The water blurs with rings from the vibrations as the credits come on in the puddle of water..

We see Allen, Elli, Nick, Billy, and Malcolm standing behind a two way mirror.. Watching the glass closely.. Breathing heavily.. With the Raptors on the other side.. When very unexpectedly the raptor jumps and bursts through the glass screeching loudly…
The picture goes black..
LIGHTNING AND THUNDER STRIKE AGAIN..
COMING SOON…
The rest of the credits are shown and fades out with several dinosaur roars/moans
