Leatherface vs. Michael Myers Complete Version with Alternate Ending
    By Thomas Hewitt

On April 12, 1996, State Police get a tip on the whereabouts of the infamous killer Bubba Sawyer, a.k.a. Leatherface. The police raid a rural farm house in southern Texas. As they break in, two of the family members, Willard Edward Sawyer and Vilmer Sawyer died in a gun fight between the police. After the house had been cleared, the crime scene showed that they were planning to leave; suitcases half filled and clothing strewn all over the floor. Bubba Sawyer was never found. Between the years of 1997 and 2003, all the way from Texas to Illinois, there have been killings involving a “chainsaw killer” and a string of car jacking have occurred. No one can defiantly pin point the crimes to Bubba Sawyer.
On October 31, 2002, the Myers residence was burned to the ground during a live web-cam show. As a result, 9 people died. Two survivors, Freddie Harris and Sara Moyer both reported that a man named Michael Myers had killed 8 people. The bodied were found. Many of the bodies had been mutilated and cut up. One of the bodies was identified as Michael Myers. After the two survivors were brought to the morgue by Haddonfield Police Deputies morgue to identify the 8 victims, what they found was astonishing. The Myers corpse was missing and the coroner and his assistant were both stabbed to death. The Myers corpse was never found.
The last report of a chainsaw murder and a car jacking was in the town of Kingston, Illinois on October 30, 20 miles outside of Haddonfield.

    October 30, 2003

Sherry Myers stepped out of her car and onto the street. The trees had lost all their leaves and the weather was chilly. She knew the next day was Halloween, so she bought candy for the neighborhood children. Her house was small, but not too cramped. She liked it.
The click of the door unlocking broke the silence of the quiet street. The house was dark inside, she couldn’t see with out the lights on. She clicked them on. The house was decorated with pictures on the walls, small knick-knacks and different plants. The kitchen seemed large once you were inside of it. The living room had a 32 inch TV and a photon sofa directly across from it. Not much to it. She walked into the kitchen and had a glass of water. She had a head ace, maybe even a migraine, as bad as it felt. She walked down a short hallway that leads to her bedroom, a spare bedroom and a bathroom. She walked into the bathroom and faced the mirror. She bent down and turned the faucet on, splashing water in her face she stood back up. In the mirror behind her, stood a man. Her only instance was to scream. She turned to see him raise a long bladed knife into the air. He wore a blue jumpsuit and a white mask. Her screams echoed through the small house and into the quiet street. He brought the knife down upon her and…

She awoke. Another dream. Another dream about her cousin, Michael. She was sweating, this time, bad. The covers were soaked and the pillow felt like a wet sponge. She looked at her alarm clock. 12:34 A.M. October 31. She needed to sleep, she had work in the morning.

    October 31, 2003

Leatherface had been driving the black truck a while. He was afraid he would get caught with this car, so he needed to find a new one. He had just killed again, he knew he shouldn’t have. He had to stop, but an urge, a terrible, terrible urge drove him to the point, the point to kill. He could not stop it, as hard as he tried. No one could help him. His family was dead, pretty much all of them. He had no one. No one to help him. She drove through a red light without noticing. Behind him red and blue lights blared. A cop. He couldn’t get caught. Leatherface looked at his chainsaw next to him. He had a decision; death or the saw.
The cop ran the plates. It was a stolen vehicle. He had caught the Cross-Country Carjacker! He was a deputy, a newbie, a rookie, how ever you wanted to put it. He knew if he had brought in this guy, everyone at the station would love him. He didn’t know if it was the Carjacker, but his odds were with him. He stepped out of the car, pulled his gun out of the holster and yelled, “Get out of the truck!” Nothing. The deputy walked slowly to the truck, but the windows were so tinted the deputy couldn’t see inside. He needed to take a brave chance. The deputy grabbed the handle and threw the door open. The last thing he remembered was the terrible sound of a chainsaw, and the jagged teeth tearing into his chest.
Leatherface had killed the cop. He did it! Leatherface killed the chainsaw and started the truck. It was almost nightfall, and he needed to leave. He had remembered a sign he had saw. It said Haddonfield 30 miles.

Sherry knew a party at Dan’s house was safe. After all, he was her boyfriend. Her and her two friends, Michel and Kelly, walked up to the house. Through the windows, she could see a number of people dancing, drinking and having fun. She was going to be fine. The three walked into the house. The smell of malt liquor and incense lingered in the air. The lights in the living room were replaced with red lights, and the furniture was all pushed against the wall. There were about twenty to thirty people. The three girls made there way through the drunken crowd of partiers and into the kitchen. On the table, an assortment of drugs laid out; anywhere from ecstasy to coke to marijuana. Two kegs were set on the counters and the fridge was full of wine coolers and cans of beer.
Kelly grabbed a joint of the table and looked at her friends. “I have to use the bathroom. I’ll be out in a short.”
Sherry sighed. She knew if anyone got in a car crash or in trouble, the cops would trail it to the party. She turned to the living room. That was when Dan bumped into her. He smelled of, well, to her surprise, nothing.
“How much have you drunk?” she asked.
“Hardly any, Hun. I know how much you hate it when I get drunk. Now, how about a dance?” he asked.
    She smiled. “Sure.”
He took her hand in his and he led her into the living room.

Outside of the house, a man stood, watching. He held a long bladed knife in one hand, and a white mask in the other. She slipped the white mask on over his head. In slow strides, he made his way around the house.

Leatherface was almost into Haddonfield. There, he would find a place to stay. He hadn’t slept in days and need needed to. Then, in the morning, he would travel once more.

Kelly stood in the bathroom, facing the mirror. The joint was almost gone and She was ready to find some hot guy. She grabbed the handle of the door as someone knocked on the window. She was high, so everything was alright. She went to the window, threw it open and stuck her head out the window.
“Hello? Any guys out here?” she said, busting into laughter.
That was the last thing she remembered before a hand gripped her brown hair and the feeling of a long blade cutting into her neck.
The killer looked into her eyes. Empty, lifeless, bottomless. She was dead. He pulled her body out of the window and hid it behind a bush. He climbed in through the window and into the house.
Joshua Mortensen was drunk. He was sloppy drunk. He didn’t have a care in the world. Nothing would bother him. He made his way from the busy living room and into the docile kitchen. No one has passed out yet, it was only nine o’clock. He stood at a keg and poured himself a cup of beer. He chugged it quickly and began to pour another one. He turned to return to the living room when he knocked into someone, spilling his beer all over himself.
“Fuck, dude! I got my beer on my shirt!” Joshua looked up at the person after shaking the beer off his hands. The man was wearing a blue jump suit and a white mask.
“Wow, dude. Cool costume. You want beer?” he asked.
The man raised a knife into the air.
“Oh, shit, man. Uh, don’t!” That was when the man sunk the blade into Joshua’s Shoulder. He made a few grunts and gasps before the man pulled the blade out and Joshua hit the floor. The man looked over. No one noticed. He stared into the party, eyeing everyone. He finally saw what he was looking for. Sherry Myers.
Sherry was tired of dancing with Dan. His moves were old and it was boring.
Over the sound of the music, she yelled, “I’m going to the bathroom.”
She turned to leave as Cameron Popplestone stopped her in her tracks.
“Cameron, get out of my way,” She said.
“No, want to dance?” he asked.
“No, I need to use the bathroom, now would you please move?” She asked him again.
“Okay, I get it. You don’t want to dance, because Dan is here. I’m cool with that. But I would like to know why your with him,” he said.
“Cameron, I’m not going through this with you again. Now please move,” she said, placing her arms on his shoulders getting ready to shove him out of the way.
“Fine,” Cameron moved on his own.
As he moved, an image burned into her mind. A man brandishing a knife, wearing a dark blue jump suit and a white mask. Her eyes grew wide. Her cousin Michael Myers was back. She felt the blood rush to her feet as the man slowly began to walk toward her. She slowly walked back in front of Cameron.
“What, you want to dance?” Cameron asked with a smile.
The smile quickly turned to a face of pain as blood began to come from his mouth. She screamed. The scream quickly got people attention. Everyone saw what had happened: A man had stabbed Cameron Popplestone in the back. The load music was over come by the screaming of the other women. The only thing people wanted to do was get out of the party.

Leatherface drove down the quiet street in Haddonfield. He looked for a house that had no lights on and no inhabitants. He could hear load music down the road. Soon after that, a crowd of people began running out of a house down the street. They were tripping over each other in a panic. He drove down the street, wanting to see what the commotion was about.

Dan was gone. Michael couldn’t be seen and she preferred to hide under Cameron’s dead body. She was trying to hold in her crying. Everyone had left the house. Hopefully someone called the police. She couldn’t see anyone. That was when someone pulled Cameron’s body off of her. She creamed. It was Jeff Long, a friend from school. She was happy to see him. He helped her up off the floor, and she braced him in her arms, hoping he was going to protect her.

Leatherface stared out the window of his truck. He had seen the girl before, a long time ago. But she got away. She was the radio D.J. And she was with another man. Leatherface was full of rage. He let out a loud yell and grabbed his chainsaw. He walked up the sidewalk to the house. He was about to the front door when someone jumped him. Leatherface’s attacker was Dan. Dan tackled him to the ground and landed a few punches before Leatherface could tell what was going on. He threw a punch as hard as he could, knocking Dan to the ground. Leatherface got to his feet grabbed the chainsaw and rip-started it. Dan’s eyes grew wide as the chainsaw was being brought down upon him.

Robert smith was struggling with his keys when he saw his friend Dan on the ground. He watched as his friend was killed with a chainsaw.
“Dan!” Robert ran over across the street. He threw his arm back as he ran towards Dan’s killer.
Robert didn’t get very far before the killer swung the chainsaw around, cutting his stomach open. Robert fell back. A rush of cold before his life lifted from him.

Jeff and Sherry were running now, through the back yards of other houses.

Leatherface came in into the house. No one was there. He made his way through the living room and saw that the back door was open. She was gone. But that man couldn’t have her. He pursued after them.

In the beam of light by a back porch light, the two stood to catch their breath.
“What was going on in there?” Jeff asked.
    “I don’t know,” she lied.
“We have to get to the police station. I don’t know if anyone called them or not,” Jeff said.
Sherry was about to cry. “Was that Dan’s screams we heard?”
Jeff looked into Sherry’s eyes. They were terrified.
“Sherry, I hope not. No one deserves to die like that,” Jeff said.
Sherry embraced Jeff in her arms again, looking for him to hug her back and protect her. Sherry could hear the low hum of a motor. He was coming. Coming to kill her. Jeff would protect her, though.
Jeff didn’t know what was going on. He couldn’t just stand here and hug her, he needed to get out of Haddonfield. He let go of her.
“We need to get out of here, Sherry,” he told her.
    She nodded.
Jeff turned to run again before something caught him. He looked over. In the background, he could hear Sherry screaming. The killer had caught him. Jeff was dieing, fast. He couldn’t do anything. All the stories about your life flashing before your eyes were false. You just die.
Michael stood and stared at Sherry, deep into her eyes, studying her. He was holding a large machete. She had froze in fear. Nothing was going to help now. She was on her own. Her cousin walked in slow strides to her. He raised the blade as he approached, but the sound of a chainsaw seemed to stop him dead in his tracks. Michael and Sherry looked over to see a fairly tall, fat man was standing there, brandishing a chainsaw. He rocked back and fourth ad he threw his arms in the arm and waved the chainsaw back and fourth. Michael looked at Sherry, then turned to Leatherface.
Leatherface stood in rage. No one was going to hurt the radio D.J. Leatherface walked across the lawn. Michael had been waiting for him, an arm raised, holding a machete. As Leatherface swung the chainsaw to fatally kill Michael, he brought the long knife down on Leatherface’s left arm. He screamed in pain, causing him to drop the chainsaw and fall to the ground, clutching his wounds. It was a deep and jagged cut. Leatherface saw as Michael turned back to the girl. With the bit of strength he had left in his left arm, he pulled the chainsaw and ripp-started it. Leatherface was amazed. The girl hadn’t moved! Well, Leatherface was willing to die for her. He waved the chainsaw at Michaels feet.
Sherry watched as He raised the blade. Her heart was beating very fast and she had stiffened up. A crunching and grinding sound filled her ears as she felt drips of blood on her leg. Michael losty his balance and fell to the ground. Then, Sherry realized that Leatherface had been protecting her, and had just cut off Michaels right foot.
Leatherface was still on the ground. Michael was waving his machete back and forth at Leatherface, but could not reach. It was like he could feel no pain. Leatherface got to his feet. Michael was still in the ground. Leatherface raised the chainsaw in the air to kill Michael, just as he raised op and stabbed him in the stomach with the machete. Leatherface dropped the chainsaw on his arm, cutting it to the bone, Leatherface walked back a few feet, then fell to the ground. Leatherface was dieing. Michael crawled over to him and pulled the long blade out of his stomach. Leatherface heaved in pain as it slid out of him. Michael got up on his left foot and hobbled, landing on the bloody stump. Sherry was in shock, she had seen so much blood. Michael finally reached Sherry. Michael raised the blade as he did before, then Leatherface stood behind him and thrusted the chainsaw into his back. The chainsaw teeth cut through him. The chainsaw was working its way through Michaels entire body. Then, Leatherface turned the chainsaw sideways inside of him and worked it back and forth. Michael dropped the machete on the ground. With Leatherface last bit of life, he had finished cutting through Michael. Michael fell into two pieces, cut at the waist. Leatherface looked up at the girl. His world was going black. He dropped the chainsaw and fell back. He slowly rested his head back in the grass before he died.

On the night of October 31, 2003, a horrific scene shocked the nation. Police responded to a call about a killer. What they found was beyond what they imagined. In front of the house, the dead bodies of Dan Finklestein and Robert Smith were found, killed by a chainsaw. The body of Kelly Harrison was found in the bushes in the side of the house. Inside, they found what a party was once. Drugs, booze and many other things. The dead body of Cameron Popplestone was found in the living room, stabbed to death. Joshua Mortensen was found in the kitchen, also stabbed to death. A few houses away, another scene of ghoulish slaughter. Three people were found. Jeff Long and The Cross-Country Carjacker, Bubba Sawyer, a.k.a. Leatherface. But the third body shocked the police. The body was identified as Michael Myers. Police had many questions. How could he be hear, when he is dead? And how was he completely healed of burn marks. And the police didn’t why The Cross-Country Carjacker was there. The police never ruled the killer of Jeff Long, Cameron Popplestone, Joshua Mortensen, Kelly Harrison and Bubba Sawyer was Michael Myers. They also ruled that Leatherface had killed Dan Finklestein, Robert Smith and Michael Myers. Both cases were closed.
