    Max Hunter-Slayer Chapter 3
    By Spinoboy11

(EXT:Right above the Transportation base in the Marshall Islands in a chopper)

Miles and Carlos started to follow the army segeant's directions below. Max woke up Tom, who was fast asleep. Tom took a swing at Max for waking him, but Max backed off in time. Adrian and Chuck were in the seats in front of Max and Lauren, both of them dying to touch the earth. The helicopter was 75 feet from the earth when a loud thump was heard. Miles ignored it, sensing it was a burst of wind pushing the helicopter.

The sergeant below was signaling for the helicopter to come straight down on the pad, which had the U.S. Army logo on it. Beside the sergeant was the captain, followed by the other leaders of the army. Surrounding the army was a gigantic jungle. The jungle had a dark/light texture. There were ferns and many trees in all directions. The soil was soft and damp on the ground, sinking some of the soldiers' feet to the crust of the earth. The helicopter was coming closer and closer to the ground, soaring 25 feet above the air.

Max and Lauren were looking out the windows. There were three different islands in the Marshall Islands' "island chain". Adrian and Chuck were also looking out the windows full of awe. The helicopter finally landed to the earth. Miles turned the ignition off and got out. Carlos, Chuck, and Adrian also exited the chopper. Max and Lauren followed Chuck out the door on the right.

The captain shook each of the members hands, who, after they shook the sergeant's hand, set their bags and accessories on a fallen branch. The army already had everything settled, weapons storage, their two choppers, the tank, and the transportation jeep. Lauren greeted some of the soldiers, all of which attracted her. Max gave a scoff and turned over to Tom, who was looking through his bag for his pack of cigarettes.

"How in the hell can you smoke that shit," said Max. "Hey, I'm attached to it," replied Tom. "I'm attached to something more physical," whispered Max as he turned around and stared at Lauren. Tom talked back to Max,
"She's something, ain't she?" Max replied quickly, "You have no idea." Adrian walked over and sat by Tom, who had a cigarette locked between his lips. As Tom was about to light it, Adrian took the cigarette out of Tom's mouth, inserted it in his own, and lit it.

"Hey, you son-of-a-bitch, that was my last one," shouted Tom, who gave a bullish look at Adrian. "Cheers," said Adrian. Max walked away in disgust and sat down by Miles, who was listening to some rap in his headphones. "Jesus," said Max. First cigarettes, and now this. Max sat over in the corner of the broken branch, away from the others. "Hey," said Lauren, who was approaching Max.

"How's it going," said Max as he put his head up and locked his eyes on Lauren. "The captain told me we're leaving for the Russians base camp to destroy it, so let's go," replied Lauren. "A'ight," said Max. The whole army began to rise after a short rest break. The agents also got up from the branch. The giant group of people headed northwest for the Russians' camp.

    (Slipknot's "Left Behind" plays)

(Scene of the army and the agents slicing their way through the jungle. A shadow of a flock of seagulls soared above the group, along with the sounds of squwaking and screeching; A huge tent could be seen on a giant hill above the group two miles away, which was the Russians' camp. Along the way, there were stange sounds in the jungle. There would be roaring, panting, screeching, growling, moaning, and many other types of sound. The captain still led the group nonstop, but the group came to a halt when they heard screaming of human beings.

The captain was frightened by the sound, but he still kept his courage with him. He told the group to walk faster. At last, they reached the camp safely. However, the tents were torn and smeared with blood. The Russians were gone...
