    Return to Nublar :part II
    By SpinoSlayer

A peculiar hooting filled the air around them. It sounded like swan calls. A worker pair was sent to investigate, and as they went behind the brush the air filled with sounds like howler monkeys and eagles screeching, the sound of a rattlesnake's tail, and the sounds of shotguns firing. Then came the screaming.

As the cleanup crew stood on the beach they stared in awe at the beasts before them. It was a pack of dilophosaurs, neck frills out, poison ready. There were six of them, two large males and four equally vicious females.

Before anyone could draw their gun and click off the safety, one male, the leader, ran towards a scientist biting his shoulder after the others spit their venom. Ryan and Carlos, quickest on the draw, shot it off the scientist.

A hail of bullets erupted and the dilophosaurs ran foward, it was hard to imagine the violence of the fray. After several minutes the two remaining dinos ran away as medical technitians ran to the aid of several workers on the ground.

'This is one lucky son of a bitch!'

    'Why the hell lucky!?'

'The venom didn't get to his eyes.'

After all that there were seven injured workers, one severly. The workers quickly recieved the anti-venom serum to prevent the blinding and paralisis that follows. The worker in the woods had a badly laserated arm, leg, and sholder, the other lay a mangled, gutted heap on the ground nearby.

'How the hell can there be dinosaurs still alive after two years!?' one man said.

'We manufactured them licsene-defishent!' a scientist shouted. 'They should have died in a week!'

    'Maybe something's in the water.'

'Who knows, perhaps they found a container of mutated DNA or something.'

'Whatever it is we must find out and extermanate them.' Ryan said rather chipper. 'Remember, we came to the island to find out if anything has survived. I too believed InGen demolished everything and killed the animals, but maybe some freaky X-FACTOR has caused some dinosaurs to survive and produce liscene or evolve and mutate. Too many are injured here, we will set up lookouts and camp here, then at dawn we will travel to whatever's left of the Visitor's Center. Let's clean this mess up!'

After Ryan said this a young, athletic man named Seth Loman wispered something to his personal body guards and secretly off they went into the woods, destination unknown.
