Nedry's container in JP looks as though it only has spots for 10 or 11 embryos -- it would have been pretty difficult to get all 15 off the island. (From: frohike)

Halo: The 4 Arrows ch. 3
    By Skidmarkz

"Quickly! Get the Fodune Galaxy on radar!" ordered Dontan. "Yes sir!" said the radar mechanic. Dontan and the other 3 generals moved over to another screen as the Fodune Galaxy appeared. All the ships had turned to a blue color since there were no assignment groups. The flood showed up in dark red. "Look sir! the flood seem to be confused! They can't locate our ships!" cried Wuntox. And it was true, the screen showed the flood sending out a couple groups to survey the area. Then they retracted to a defensive measure because even they knew that an ambush was coming in a territory they weren't familiar with.
"Hahaha...So far so good eh?" commented Gofin. "Yes, but let's not get over confident" replied Flak-su. Halan soon joined in the conversation,"Oh don't be so careful Flak-su. Our boys wil take 'em down good and hard and have time to come home and celebrate!" he laughed. All the generals were soon caught up in the excitement and laughing at eachothers stupid jokes. "Look Sir! Our ships are making a move!" called Wuntox. All 4 generals looked at the screen. It showed a single blue dot come out from behind an icestroid (and astroid made of ice) and move out into a position near the flood as if to lure the flood out. It worked, a small group of 10 ships or so followed the blue dot around an icestroid into a hidden dust cloud. The flood didn't know until it was too late. As soon as they went in, several battle blades swept in and took care of the little group.
The explosions caught the flood's attention. Several more groups went to the spot where their companions had just been. Again as soon as the flood realized they were trapped, the battle blades took them out in a couple shots. This worked for 3 times in a row after that before the flood caught on to what was going on. Several groups tried to swoop around to what they thought was the back of where the ships were. A fatal mistake on their part. They just ran into a small fleet of Trontan ships. The flood were cut down very quickly.
"Haha! Everything is going perfectly!" exclaimed Halan. Dontan had a bad feeling about what was happening. "Hmmm...something is not right here." he said. "Ah! Now you're worried too? You have little faith, you and Flak-su both." said Halan.
"Sir the flood are up to something." said Wuntox. Gofin, Halan, and Flak-su turned around to look. Dontan didn't bother, he already realized what was going to happen. What the other 3 generals saw was horrific. All of a sudden thousands of red dots appeared behind the 4 Arrows Fleet. Dontan only had time to yell, " Hyperju-!" before he was interupted by seeing atleast a third of the fleet obliterated in less than 3 seconds. It was total hell as ships scattered only to be hunted down one by one.
"This is Dakron reporting sir!" said a voice in the microphone in the base ship. "Sir! the flood are reaking havoc out here! Permission to order my men to hyper jump to emergency extraction point." all Dontan could muster was a meek, "Granted" What was left of the Arrows fleet disappeared off the screen. "I want a rescue team on the planet Nakoli. Located in the Wadtro solar system. Give me a count of how many are left asap!" said Dontan to Wuntox. "Sir!" He called the rescue fleet and they were off in a matter of minutes.
15 minutes later the team came back with a report. "Sir, all ships are refueled, repaired, and ready to return to base." Dontan replied, "Ok, come back, but first, tell me how many are left. There was a long pause before the medic came back with a response, he was a little choked up. "The-There are aproximately, out of 2,000, only 345 left sir....
