Some palentoligsts think the spinosaur was actually not as big as depicted in JP3: They think it was a lightly-built animal, with most of it's length coming from its extremely long tail. (From: HT)

Jurassic Park: A Tale of Odyssey and Discovery- Part 1
    By Seba

The story you are about to read is based on movies, video games, and recent (unrelated) dreams of mine:

Dr. Alan Grant sat down at a desk. He thought about the past few weeks. First, an earthquake had opened a huge canyon (yes, canyon) in the ground in one of the dryer, more barren regions of Isla Sorna. The strange occurence caused a need to explore the canyon, but none of those who went in came out. Except for one, who died shortly after his rescue. Damage had been detected in his brain, probably from a worm-like creature that was found inside. It was an undiscovered creature, like nothing ever found. An analyisis of the "worm" proved some of the strange animal's characteristics and traits. It was found that the mind worm, as it had been dubbed, was a vicious creature that burrowed inside any accessable opening in the head of its victim, then ate through its skull and devoured its brain. It was found to have a poisonous mucus covering its body, and was found almost completely resistant to flame and radiation. Weapons had been developed to fight the creature through electricity and poisons. A large body of water had also been discovered at the bottom of the canyon. Other life was detected in the canyon, but no one dared to go in. Currently, vehicles were being developed to enter the canyon and exterminate all alien life in the canyon before it escaped. turned to the computer on the desk. He quickly checked for any escapes made by the alien creatures. None. He switched to the population chart for Jurassic Park. Everything was fine. He checked the various camera views from around the park. Everything was perfect. Alan got up and walked to the vehicle hangar.
