Jurassic Park 4 Prolough

Rain fell heavley on the tiny shed. Tim Ross looked out to the clearing. Why did it have to rain, he was wondering. Of all the time in the world it had to rain now. He had came on an exibition to document the rare birds of Costa Rica.His team had been planning it for months. And now this. Two of his guides had gotten lost and they had barely been able to make their way back to camp.
From some where above he heard the sound of a helicopter. Why would they be flying in weather like this? The chopper circled the clearing before finally landing. A spanish man climbed out and quickly ran to the tiny shed."Senor, who is in charge here," he asked."I am," Ross replied."Then do you know of anybody with any medical experience."Ross turned towards the helicopter."Why," he asked. The man said," We found two men badly wounded in the jungle."Ross yelled,"My guides". He started running towards the chopper. "Senor, you better not look. "But Ross was already to the chopper. He looked in and then quickly turned away. "He tuned towards the man. "How did this happen," he said weakly. "Animal attack is what I suspect," he replied. "What kind of animal". He looked quickly back inside to get another look. What he saw was unbelievable. One man had a deep gash that ran from his thigh down to the ankle.Pale bone stuck out. The other man seemed to be worse. He had the same gash down his leg. But his chest was worse. It had been almost complety cut open. The man breathed in short shallow gasps. He knew the man would not make it. He heard a beeping sound. The other people got up and tried to revive him but it ws too late. The man was dead.
Ross turned to the spanish man. "This was not an ordinary animal attack, " he said quietly. "What do you mean Senor."Ross said, "what ever did this was smart, it knew to disable their walking by cutting their legs, it knew to cut open his chest so he wouldn't be able to run awat or to call for help. "He turned to the chopper. "I don't want to stay in these woods any longer."He began to gather up his backpack. "What ever did this is still out there"
