RaptorPack chptr 10

FINAL DAY = 5 (NIGHT)
“We are finally freeeee!” Laura shouted happily. They were on their way to the ship. They knew where the “North Beach” was, it was were they had landed, 5 days ago.
“Shhhh, we don’t wanna get eaten NOW!” grinned Terrence.
“Dude, we don’t wanna get eaten ever!” laughed Mack. He frowned though, and looked down. Diego was gone.
“There it is!” whisper-shouted Laura, giggling like a maniac. The ship loomed in the distance.
S.S. Res-Q was painted on the side of the rusty hull.
“I’ve heard of this ship!” exclaimed Nick, “It was put into service for the rescue of people stranded on Isla Sorna, for one reason or another. A loading ramp extended slowly from the ship. They ran on smiling and laughing. The nightmare was over. Peter was dragging a large suitcase up the ramp. It was full of holes, a lot of holes, like tons of bullet holes or something.
“Dude, what’s IN that thing?” Mack asked.
“None of your business,” Peter snarled. Mack eyed the box suspiciously.
“Raise the ramp!” shouted one of the sailors. Another crewman hit the lever than turned around. No one saw the creatures sneak on board...
Since no one had had a good sleep in a long time, they all went straight to bed after getting settled on board. Laura asked to check on Derek, the only one rescued by the helicopter. The copter crew stated that the Pteronadons had all been tranquilized; though their fate was uncertain. So, everyone went to bed as the boat chugged outward.
About one mile offshore, the boat suddenly stopped.
“What’s going on?” asked one crewman.
“Not sure, lemme check,” a second sailor ran into the command deck. His jaw dropped as he nearly threw up. Everyone inside had been killed. Slashed to pieces. He put his hand over his mouth and he backed away slowly. He locked the door and called out “Dinosaur attack!” In a matter of seconds, the raptors had run out of their hiding places and overran the ship. It was like a war zone.
Jake tore out of his bunk. “What’s going on?” he asked one passing crewman.
“Raptors everywhere, if you gotta gun, get out here and fight!” and then he ran on. Jake turned around and shook Nick. “Wake up you idiot!”
“Yrmmmmphgrlg...” Nick grunted.
“Get up idiot, raptors!” Nick sat up straight.
Seconds later everyone of the ‘team’ was awake, jumping out of bed to try to save alive.
“They want something!” Laura shouted, running towards Nick and Jake. “They want something. There’s no way they’d simply chase us like this. It’s pointless. Their pack is losing valuable lives. They must want something really bad.”
“What could they possibly want?” Jake wondered.
“Well well, looks like your friends want you back, huh?” Peter smiled. “Unfortunately I have no intention of giving you up. Mr. Jacobson said I’d make big bucks if I brought back a Raptor. Those bumbling imbeciles Jake and Nick would’ve never gone for it. He was right to trust me. And I’m willing to bet I’ll make even more money, considering you’re the Alpha Female.” Peter laughed and laughed and laughed at the Alpha Raptor, as she was trapped behind a complex cage of pipes...
Kyle, Nick and Jake fired laser pulses from behind a toppled bench at the ravenous reptiles. Laura ran up. “We have to find what their looking for!” she shouted then ran off.
“I’ll follow her,” Jake told the others as he ran after.
He was searching for several minutes but couldn’t find Laura anywhere. He did run into Mack though, and quickly explained the situation. They began search of their cabins, after all, they were on Isla Sorna the longest. Once they reached Peter’s cabin...
“Don’t take another step, or I’ll shoot,” Peter screamed. Laura was nearby, handcuffed to a pipe. Dangerously close to the Alpha female. Peter had some kind of machine gun aimed at them.
“Not another step,” he repeated. “Now, up against the wall!” he ordered.
“What are you doing?” Mack screamed. Peter didn’t reply.
“He captured the Alpha female. Gonna get paid for it, I guess,” Laura explained.
“Shut up!” Peter barked. “But you are right. Gonna be rich, I am.”
“Wait... you were the guy I saw talking to Mr. Jacobson a week or so ago!” Jake called.
“Indeed. He wants to use that thing to make a lot of money. Gonna make some kinda circus thing with it. All in secret, obviously, due to the fact that it’s illegal, you can’t go blabbing.” He smiled. Please, go into the cage. The raptors too fat to squeeze through, but humans are a different story. And the other raptors have made the perfect cover. I’ll just say you were killed by some others.” No one budged.
“GET IN OR I’LL MAKE YOUR DEATHS MORE HORRIBLE THAN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE!” Peter roared in rage. Quivering, the three entered the ‘cage.’ The female did nothing.
“Why won’t you kill them?” Peter snarled at the animal. If he didn’t know better, he could swear the Alpha Raptor was... smiling at him. “What’s wrong with-” Peter was slammed against the wall and knocked out, by Scout. The Matriarch’s mate was right behind him. They smashed down the pipes and let the Matriarch, and the humans, go. Alpha barked at them, and she was off.
The entire team got up to the top deck. As they watched the entire Pack walk toward the edge of the ship. Some other raptors had already thrown some ropes and fishing nets over the side to use like ladders. The female was about to get off when machine gun fire interupted them. It was Peter.
“You will all die know,” he roared. A pulse blast hit his gun.
“Don’t think so, Psycho,” Mack smiled. Peter’s gun was totally disabled. The raptors began to surround him.
“Get away from me! Get back! Go! Wait... uh...get!” he screamed but it was too late. The raptors rushed in and knocked him down. The Alpha Female slashed his jugular vein with her claw. He was dead.
The Pack, it’s mission finally done, dove off the ship and swam back to the dreaded Isla Sorna.
Hours later the ship had already set sail again. Little had been destroyed, and few people actually killed, most crewman were just wounded. The team were at the back of the ship, looking back at the memories.
“Well, I’m putting this up as 5-star vacation spot,” smiled Jody.
“For sure,” agreed Mack.
“Well, I got to.. got to see... a dinosaur,” wheezed Derek. He was feeling well enough to stand.
“That you did!” laughed Laura.
“I know one thing,” said Jake, “I’ll never forget this.”
“Me either.”
“Or me!”
“I might... wait no I won’t!” joked Terrence. Everyone laughed as they left Jurassic Park in the distance...
