Two shots in JP3 use the same CG animation of a raptor, just reversed: Look carefully at the raptors responding to the other's call, and during the shot where Grant is surrounded. (From: BMAN)

“Arrgh!” Whispered Jake, as the tranquilizer dart whizzed past the Pteronadon’s head. His best friend, Nick Raderson, let out a muffled laugh. You see. These two were hired to track down and capture the Pteronadons that escaped to the mainland. They couldn’t kill them, they were an endangered species (go figure) so using tranquilizer rifles, they hunted down Pteronadons from the country to the city. There was only one left . . .
Jake quickly reloaded the gun. He had to hurry, or two things could happen. The massive Pterosaur could fly away, or worse, it could see them. Either of these could be a serious problem. Jake aimed the crosshairs right at the neck, where the dart could get the most tranquilizer pumping, making the Pteronadon pass out faster. He pulled the trigger.
“Rrraack!” the Pteronadon barely had a second to squawk. He was out like a light. However, a second squawk was heard. Apparently, they had missed one. This second one was larger, a male, perhaps. It flapped up and screeched in the air, very aggitated. Jake raised his gun, but the Pteronadon was already swooping down on him. He ran. He was atop a skyscraper. This was the reason the Pteronadons became such pests. They nested in the cities. Jake ran, but he knew the rooftop would end. Then it was either jump, or be eaten. Suddenly the flying reptile veered upward. Jake looked back. It was Nick, he had tried to shoot it, but-
“You picked one BAD time to miss Nick,” called Jake, still watching the gargantuan creature. Nick didn’t reply, he was stuffing the second dart in the gun. It was too late. The animal was about to hit Jake. The he ducked. It screamed madly, only to slam into the next building. Shattering through the glass, it lay there, its head hanging out the window. Not moving, but still breathing.
“Uh, sorry,” Nick called at the frightened workers. “We’ll get that cleaned up!”

    “No!
“C’mon boys, you’re the best there is!”
    “No!
    “But w-”
    “NO!!!
“Raderson, try to talk some sense into your partner!’
“Aw c’mon Jake, it won’t be so bad.!” Nick replied. “Besides, we’ll make big bucks!“ Jake sighed. He really didn’t want to do this, going to Isla Sorna and bringing back the pterosaurs, but it had to be done. Again, Jake sighed.
“OK, we’ll do it. But do you have good enough equipment?” Jake asked Mr. Jacobson. Mr. Jacobson was in charge of the so-called ‘Isla Sorna’ Project. It was the project set up by the Costa Rican government and the U.S. Embassy to keep more problems with the island from happening. Jake and Nick were just two people who signed up to help. They’re job was to hunt down the Pteronadons. They were payed $1000 dollars per Pteronadon they hunted down. But now Mr. Jacobson wanted them to lead the expedition back to Isla Sorna.
“Good enough equipment?” laughed Mr. Jacobson. “I set up a meeting with Kyle Tredory, our equipment officer and techno specialist. “He’ll show you if we have good enough equipment or not . Jake agreed and started to walk off. When we looked back, though, he saw Mr. Jacobson talking to a very tough looking guy. The guy started to smile, when Jacobson closed the door...

“So this is our basic PteroTransport.” said Kyle, chewing 3 pieces of gum at the same time. He was motioning to a massive vehicle, sort of a semi-truck with a giant cage on back. According to Kyle, each cage-container could hold exactly two Pteronadons.
“So where’s Nick, again?” asked Jake, still staring at the giant hulk of metal looming above him.
“He’s off doing some kind of weapons test.” answered Kyle, pleased with the look on Jacobs face.
    “Yeah, what kind of weapons.?”
    “Wanna see?”
“Yeah!” Kyle led Jake through the masses of engineers, welding this piece to that piece, that piece to this piece. Soon they arrived at a Nick, blasting away at 3-D projections of Raptors, Compies, and even a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
“So what’s this?” asked Jake, apparently impressed.
“This,” smiled Kyle, “is a Electrotazer.” He was talking about a pistol-looking weapon firing what looked like laser blasts.
“It fires electropulses, short charges used to knock the target unconcious. Very effective at blasting smaller dinosaurs like Compies and Raptors. For bigger game, we use rifles with the same type of ammunition, just more powerful.”
“Think this’ll take out a Tyrannosaur or a Spinosaur?”
“Well, yeah, I think so.” Kyle replied smugly. “Obviously I haven’t tested it, but it should.”
    “We’ll see. We’ll see . . .”

“This is so cool!!” cried Laura Davis, one of the scientists.
“I know,” replied her brother, Derek. He was there as sort of a security guard. Though Jake didn’t ask, he guessed they were in their mid-20’s, 25, 26, or so. It was May and the ship the S.S. Jumanji, a cargo hauler, was carrying everything and everyone to Isla Sorna. It was time. There were many people on board, mostly low-payed people hired to drive the DinoTransport or something like that, but many scientists and others, too, there to study while the pteronadons are brought back. The trip is long. Very long. Most of the people on board were, well, bored. Most everyone had already gone below deck, but several people stayed above, including Jake and Nick.
“There it is!” shouted Laura, pointing off into the distance, through the thick fog. Sure enough, the massive green island loomed ahead, a tropical paradise at first glance, but a deathtrap with unknown danger to anyone who stayed around long enough to find out . . .
