Escape from Miami- Chapter 7: Tom

The El Camino pulled in front of an old movie theater. “This way.” directed Ann to Snake. She knocked on the door.
The door creaked. It was very old.
The door opened. A woman was at the door.
“May I help you?” asked the woman.
“This is Snake Plissken. He needs to talk to Tom.” said Ann.
“Why?” asked the woman. Snake stepped up.
“I wanna meet The Princess.” said Snake.
The women led Snake and Ann up to Tom.
“Hello?” yelled Ann.
“Up here.” yelled back a voice from up some stairs.
Ann was beginning to have trouble walking. Snake picked her up and carried her upstairs. When they got to the top of the stairs, he let Ann down.
Ann opened the door.
“Yes?” asked the man.
Snake knew him. The mans eyes got big as Snake and his eyes met.
The man tried to run but Snake hit him with the hilt of his AK-47. Snake pointed the gun toward him.
“Long time, no see…. James. Or should I say Tom?” said Snake angerly.
“Snake! Don‘t!” yelled Tom as he laid on the floor with the AK-47 pointed at him.
“Then tell me why you bailed out on me in New Jersey back in ’98?” yelled Snake.
“My family! They needed me! My wife was sick and my kids needed me!” said Tom as he broke out crying.
Snake retracted the AK-47 and helped Tom up.
“Daddy? Are you okay?” asked Ann.
“What?” said Snake in disbelief.
“Tom is my dad.” said Ann.
Snake had seen everything today. He needed to lie down for a couple minutes. He was starting to get a headache.
