Now Jake was paying for it.

Jake wasn't a bad kid. He never made fun of anyone. That was the popular kids who did that.

He stood in the hallway, 5 period. Rick was walking toward him.
In fact, Jake hated the kids who made fun of everyone. How cool did they think they were? How insucure were they that they had to pick on the little guys.
Jake wasn't a little guy though. He was fairly popular with the assholes. And he never picked on the smaller guys.

He was walking to the bathroom. He had to "powder his nose" to get the assholes words out of his head. Rick came closer.

He stepped up to Jake.

Jake wasn't a bad guy.
But the assholes were. And he was paying for it. He wishes when the assholes said there shit he would have stepped up.

Jake screamed blood. He was sorry. Sorry for not doing anything.

He tasted metal in the pit of his gut every time.

And Rick stepped away. Going to take over the school.
Jake layed fetal position on the floor. He didn't want to be alone. And he was. He heard yelling and gun shots in the distance. He felt sorry. Felt sorry for Rick. It's not his fault. It was the assholes'. And everyone in school was paying for it. He closed his eyes to sleep. And he never wanted to wake up.
Rick came back.
