It is a hot dry summer day 220 million years ago. In the Triassic Period. So far only small mammals like Cynodont are scattered amongst the world waiting for their time to evolve, but something else rules the world and it will for millions of years to come. The Dinosaurs

Triassic Period
-North America- =Late Triassic=
A Dilophosaurus drinks from a small river. Suddenly a Protosuchus lifts up its head and brings under the Dilophosaurus.

After a hardy meal the 4 ft Croc beaches itself and gathers the warm sunlight while it lasts.
Just north of the river a Ceratosaurus gaurds her nest. A Cynodont tries to dig in before she notices, but it soon falls prey to the dinosaur.

Night falls ... and the mother has fallen asleep. Coelophysis a small 10 ft long and 9ft high theropod takes advantage of the moment and sneaks away with an egg.
the ancient night finally ends and the sun is starting to rise. The nest starts to move and the first baby Ceratosaurus appears ... unfortunatley the others died. This baby Ceratosaurus has not much chance of survival alone ... only half of a nest make it. This one will be lucky if it doesn't fall prey to a Dilophosaurus or Coelophysis.
Months has past and signs of a drought are starting to arrive... aswell at this point baby Coelophysis are coming out from their nests. One Coelophysis wanders off away from it's mother... A Dilohposaurus is near by and it can smell the little one. With a swift swipe and the baby Coelophysis is now prey to the hungry theropod.

It's the middle of the drough and the Protosuchus burries a small hole into the ground and wait for the end of the drought and only come out to eat...
In another million years the time of the Jurassic dinosaurs will approach...
