    The Lost Wallet: Jurassic Spoof
    By Malcolm

    The Lost Wallet: Jurassic Spoof

    Prologue

Paul Kriby stared across a small table towards Dr. Alan Grant and his assistant Billy Brennan. I must find a way to get Grant to guide us to Isla Sorna, Kirby thought to himself. So he tried a new tactic. “And of course, we’re prepared to make a sizable contribution to your research here,” Paul said. “I can write all kinds of numbers on this check. Just tell me what exactly would it take.”

Those words would later on turn out to be nothing more than an allusion, an act to trick Dr. Grant in going on a rescue mission of the Kirby’s thirteen year old son, Eric.

He never got paid, almost lost his life once again due to InGen’s dinosaurs, but this time on their factory island, a “SITE B” if you will, on ISLA SORNA.

Paleontology had become a dying field, no one longed to see the fossils from these great giants of the past, when there were living dinosaurs on ISLA SORNA.

An exhausted Grant returned to his excavation site at Fort Peck Lake, Montana, but when he arrived at the site, waiting for him was Paul Kirby.

Paul Kirby watched as Grant pulled in, and parked near a small air stream trailer.

    CHAPTER ONE

Paul Kirby waved wildly at Grant, like a hyper-active child. “Dr. Grant! Dr. Grant!” he shouted.

Alan Grant got out of his truck, paying no attention to Kirby, and went inside the trailer, slamming the door shut behind him.

Kirby hurried after Grant, opening up the trailer door and went inside. Inside, Paul looked around: on a small coffee table, there were some little dishes with what looked like chicken bones soaking in the jars. He walked passed them and into kitchen heading right for the fridge. He opened it up, looking inside. After a few moments grabs a beer—

“What the hell do you think you’re doing in here?” Grant snapped.
“Ah,” Paul responded, startled by Grants harsh tone. “Dr. Grant—”
“I said what the hell are you doing here Kirby!” Grant interrupted.
“Easy there fellow,” Paul said, pushing his hands back and forth at Grant. “I have a proposition I would like to discuss with you.”
“The answer is no Kirby,” Grant said, as he turned to walk away. “Get the hell away from me.”
“Not so fast Dr. Grant,” Paul insisted. “Hear me out.”

Grant stopped, and turned to face him. “The last time I heard you out, I almost got myself killed. Of course the answer has to be no.”
“Please just give me five minutes of your time, that's all I ask.”
“Okay”, Grant said. Looking at Paul Kirby, he just shakes his head as he continued, “What do you want from me this time?”
“From what I understand, you are contracted to appear in three Jurassic Park sequels” Kirby said. “So far you’ve done the original Jurassic Park and now Jurassic Park 3. So I was wondering if you would like to accompany me back to ISLA SORNA—
Shaking his head Grant, stares at Paul dreading of what's about to come. He knows it couldn’t be good, especially from someone like Paul Kirby.

—to retrieve my wallet. I am not really sure where I lost it,” Kirby said. “But it’s somewhere on that island, and I must go in and rescue it.”
    “Okay.”
“I have a confession to make,” Kirby said.
“I knew it,” Grant snapped. “What is it?”
“I didn’t lose my wallet on ISLA SORNA, I did so on purpose, so I would have a reason to return in the third Jurassic sequel. And I knew you were contracted to be in three so I was making sure we would be able to do another Jurassic Park film together.”
“You what!” Grant yelled. “And you want me to go back to that island? You just don’t leave your damn wallet on dino-fested island just so you could reprise your role in its next sequel. Let me guess, the reason that terrible director Joe Johnston let your wife live was: so she could also make a return?” Grant said.
“How did you know? Would you really think if Steven Spielberg directed Jurassic Park 3, Amanda would be still alive today?

Suddenly the trailer door opened and Amanda Kirby stormed in. “I heard that Paul! I am such a great actress. Johnston knows talent.”
“Oh, Amanda, darling,” Paul said, “I thought I told you to stay in the car while I talk to Dr. Grant about our opportunity to star in Jurassic Park 4.”
“Well I was getting bored so I thought I would get some fresh air, thank goodness I did so when I did. Why didn’t you like how I acted in Jurassic Park 3 Dr. Grant?
You want the long version or just the highlights, Grant thought to himself. “Oh, Amanda, hello,” Grant said, forcing a smile on his face.

Turn to face Grant once again, Paul said, “Will you guide us back once again to ISLA SORNA so I may retrieve my lost wallet. I need to get it, I have everything in there: my ID, my credit cards. So I must get it back.”
“The answer is still no,” Grant said. He turned and headed for the door.

“Wait, wait!” Paul said, right on the heels of Grant. The door slammed in Paul Kirby’s face. Turning to Amanda he said, “I have a feeling Dr. Alan Grant doesn’t like us.”
“What are you waiting for Paul, go get him,” Amanda said. “We must reprise our roles in Jurassic Park 4, and Grant’s the key to making that happen.”

With that Paul Kirby went to open the door. It was stuck. Amanda came over and looked at the door handle, it was locked. She unlocked it as she said “Go get him Paul!”

Paul Kirby raced after Dr. Grant who was now talking to one of the college students who was volunteering at the dig for the summer.
“How is Billy doing?” Cheryl asked Grant.
“He’s fine, should be able to leave the hospital within a week.”
“That soon, that's great,” she said smiling.
Paul approached Grant from the behind. “Dr. Grant, like it or not you will be returning with Amanda and I to ISLA SORNA.”
Grant turns to face him, “And you really think you can get me there...again? Kirby the answer is no.”
“Wrong answer Dr. Grant,” Paul said. “You will be joining us.” A shadow casted down in front of Grant, it was Amanda. Without warning, Amanda smacked her heavy purse at Grant; Grant collapsed to the ground.

Cheryl looked at them. “What the hell are you doing?”
Amanda answered, “Don’t push it sister.”

    CHAPTER TWO

Paul picks up the out cold Grant as they enter into a small airplane, Amanda follows. Paul sat Grant down on one of the seats and put the seat belt on him. Paul and Amanda move to the front of the plane. Paul draws a long, nervous breath and looks at Amanda. She too seems just as tense.

Moments later the small charted plane took off for ISLA SORNA.

Amanda looks out the window, and then back at Paul. “We are really did this. We are going, I mean, we are in Jurassic Park 4.”
Paul smiles. “Told you I would get you back.”

    * * * *

In the jets cockpit, pilot Chucky Sims and his co-pilot David Wells stared out at the open sea below them. Off in the distance they could make out the rocky coast of ISLA SORNA. According to what Paul Kirby had told Chucky and David, they were going on a rescue mission. “We are returning to ISLA SORNA,” Paul told Chucky, “to go in search of one of my most prized possessions. My wallet.”

“Chucky I can’t believe this, we are in the forth installment of Jurassic Park!” David said. “I have always wanted to be chased around by dinosaurs.”
    “So have I,” Chucky said.
“You know, we should have brought an army of women and children,” David said. “They always survive.”
“Hey look.” Chucky said, pointing out the window, “I never knew there were swans in Costa Rica. They almost resemble dinosaurs! I read that somewhere.”
“Chucky they look like birds, not dinosaurs.”
“Look,” Chucky said, pointing once again out the window, “there it is. ISLA SORNA!” Turn to David, he continues, “We made it.”

    * * * *

Paul and Amanda hovered over the coming to Dr. Grant. “I think he’s waking up,” Amanda said to Paul.
A groggy Grant looks up, taking a few moments to regain his bearings. Grant stands up, and looks out one of the small windows, he notices they’re flying awfully low. Then suddenly a new sound, a humming and a low rush seemed to be coming from the outside.
“That was not the landing gear?” Grant snapped.
From over the intercom, Chucky said, “Mr Kirby, there’s a landing strip up head, want me to set her down?”
“Yes Chucky,” Paul answered. “Set her down.”
“What, no no no,” Grant yelled at Paul Kirby. “We can’t land this plane.”
“Dr. Grant,” Paul said calmly, “if you’d just sit tight, we’ll explain the all in a jiffy.”
“This plane cannot land!” Grant shouts as he makes a run for the cockpit. He’s almost there, when suddenly David Wells gets up and stands in the way. “Who the hell do you think you are?” Grant snapped.
“David Wells, one of the new characters to Jurassic Park 4,” he answered. “And I wont let you ruin that for me. I want to be chased around on this island, just like Mr and Mrs Kirby were in the third film.” With that, David grabbed Grant, and pushed him back to his seat.
Dr. Alan Grant starts to struggle, but this young kid was to big of a match for him. Grant looks up, and he sees a well practiced fist heading for him dead on. “Not again,” Grant said to himself. Grant is out cold.

Paul looks at David, “Good going there son,” he said. “We have to land this plane, so the story can get into some action sequences.”

    * * * *

A few minutes later, Grant once again comes to and finds himself lying on the floor of the plane. Standing next to him, was Paul. “Why me?” Grant said. “Why not get Malcolm to return for this one?”

Paul helps Grant slowly get up. Grant’s head still pounding. “Dr. Grant, are you all right? I’m sorry we had to do that to you again—
“What the hell is going on?” Grant snapped.
Paul Kirby didn’t answer, just headed for the door of the plane. Standing outside was Amanda who was yelling at David to stay away from the jungle. All of a sudden they heard a deafening roar coming from the dark jungle.

Paul looks back at Grant. “What was that? A Spinosaurus?” Paul asked.
“No, I don’t think so,” Grant said. “Sounds smaller.”

David Wells begins spiriting away from the jungle, heading back towards the plane. “We gotta go now!” he shouted as he ran.
“What’s the problem David?” Paul asked. “Dr. Grant said it wasn’t a Spinosaurus, so its all right.”

Suddenly a shadow was casted down on David, something was chasing him. “Must go faster, must go faster,” David yelled to himself. With brutal speed the beast seized David Wells in its powerful jaws; lifting him into the air.
“No not this way,” David yelled. “I wanted to be the hero in this story. Not this way.”

“That’s one,” Paul said. “Which one of us is next to die?” Chucky, Paul and Grant turn and look at Amanda.
“What?” she said, obviously not paying attention.

Paul turns to Chucky, “I believe this is the scene where we get back in the plane and the dinosaur bites off one of the wings; causing us to crash.”
“Okay,” Chucky said. He ran towards the cockpit. Everyone else followed.
The creature roared once again, an earsplitting cry.
“Dr. Grant,” Paul asked, “if that isn’t a Spinosaurus want is it? Can’t be a Tyrannosaur, thought they were smaller. Jack Horner said they were scavengers.”
“Horner doesn’t know enough anatomy to even have sex with his own damn wife,” Grant said. “The Tyrannosaurus was not a scavenger.”
“Was that a Tricyclatops?” Amanda asked.
Grant looks at her, and just sighs. Not bothering to get into it with her.

The plane starts speeding down the run down landing strip, then abruptly the dinosaur lunges out in front of them. And Grant gets a full view of what the animal is. It was a Tyrannosaur.

The Tyrannosaur plunges is powerful jaws forward; crashing them down on one of the planes wings, as the aircraft is just taking off.

Grant looks at Paul. “Damn you Kirby.” With that the Tyrannosaur pulls off one of the wings, causing the plane to free fall.

The plane crashes down onto the landing strip. All is quiet. Then Chucky cries out, “You guys okay back there?”
    “Yes, we’re fine,” Paul said.

Amanda and Grant unstrap their belts and slide down onto the side of the plane. Paul reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small notebook. And jots down a little note. Grant looks up at him and says, “Kirby, what are you doing now?”
“Ah, just checking something off on my HOW TO BE IN A JURASSIC PARK MOVIE for Dummies check list,” Paul answered. Reading them over Kirby: Step one: Get one of the original cast to join you step two: Make sure one of the new characters is either a hyper-active child or an air headed female Step three: To start an action sequence, one of the characters needs to make some loud noise so some type of dinosaur will start to chase you... Okay its now time to make some noise, Kirby thought to himself
Grant just shakes his head, as he starts walking away, trying to find a way to get out. With that Kirby starts yelling “Come and get me dinosaurs. I’m back!”

All of a sudden the Tyrannosaur roars. It lowers its massive head down, looking down through the window. The rex growled. Its shadow casted down on Amanda, she slowly looked up, “Oh shit,” she yelled. She begins screaming. The Tyrannosaurus slammed its head down, knocking the window frame down; just missing Amanda. Chucky looked back, “This is not good.”
“Don’t move, don’t breath,” Grant said. “The Tyrannosaur’s vision is based upon movement, if you stay still it’d lose you.”

The rex roars in frustration, unable to reach in through the window. “Look it can’t get us,” Chucky said. So far being in a Jurassic Park film has been just like a walk in the park, he thought to himself. “I should have been in one of these films a while ago, this is easy.”
Amanda looks at Chucky, “You have no idea how hard it is to be in one of these films,” she's says. “Oh my God, I broke a nail.” She begins sucking on her ring finger on her right hand.

The Tyrannosaur growls. Paul looks around the plane, thinking to himself, There must be a way to scary off the rex. But what? “I have an idea,” Paul said. “Only way we can get a chance to run is if one of us goes out there and distracts the Tyrannosaur.”
Chucky and Grant look over at Amanda. “Oh no,” Amanda shouted. “I’m not going out there.”
“Honey, there’s nothing to be afraid off,” Paul said. “Remember no women or children ever die in a Jurassic Park film.”
“Oh all right, fine. I’ll do it,” Amanda said.

Paul comes over and he and Grant lift Amanda up to the broken window, and she climbs out. “Make lots of noise and move around,” Grant shouted up.
“Okay,” she answered, as she stood up on the outer wall of the plane. The Tyrannosaur who is starting to get very frustrated, lets out a brutal roar; trying to scary its prey and make it move. Amanda looks down at the large creature, which is less than a yard away from her; she could smell its hot, rotten breath. “Hey you,” Amanda shouted, waving her hands wildly in the air, “Come and get me you dumb Tricyclatops!”

The Tyrannosaur rushes towards her, its jaws opened wide. When suddenly it stops, lowers its head and begins sniffing Amanda; and abruptly the rex turns and walks away. “It is true,” Amanda said, “Jurassic Park dinosaurs can’t attack or kill females.” She turns and waves bye-bye to the Tyrannosaur, “Bye bye, you can’t get me.”
The rex looks back at her, and growls; as if could understand what she was saying.

Grant yells up, “How thing’s coming up there? Is the rex gone?”
“Yeah,” Amanda yelled back, “that monster started back towards the jungle, seemed kind of irritated.”
“Okay then, we’re coming up,” Grant said.
Grant, Paul, and Chucky climb out the window and jump down to the ground. “Where do we go from here?” Chucky asked.
Paul begins flipping through his HOW TO BE IN A JURASSIC PARK MOVIE for Dummies book. Okay, we done that, so its time to run through the jungle, Paul thought to himself. “According to this guide we are suppose to run through the jungle,” he said.
“Hmm, Dr. Grant,” Amanda said, “we’re not alone,” he said pointing to the edge of the forrest. “The rex is waiting for us to continue the scene.”
“Run,” Grant yelled as he took off towards the dark jungle; Paul, Amanda and Chucky followed.

The Tyrannosaur rushed forward, as it gave chase to the hero’s of the film. Chucky took a quick glance over his shoulder as he says, “I’m fairly alarmed here!” He begins to run faster, mumbling to himself, “Gotta go, gotta get out of here. Let’s go Chucky, we gotta go, right now! Let’s get out of here!”

The Tyrannosaur is gaining on them, Amanda looks back, “Faster! Shit, shit, shit, faster!
Grant looks around, trying to find a place of safety for them, “Head for the trees. It shouldn’t be able to get us there!”
Everyone suddenly turned to the right and headed for the dense foliage, escaping the jaws of the Tyrannosaurus.

They stop, thinking they’ve had outran the rex, and slow down to a walk. Grant directs the group through some more underbrush and suddenly he stops dead in his tracks. Amanda looks at Grant, “What’s wrong?” she asked.
Before them lies an unmoving sauropod corpus.
Grant quickly examines it: reach out and touching its leathery skin, and kicking it. “Don’t worry. It’s dead.” he says.

Suddenly from behind the carcass, a Spinosaurus rises up. It was feeding, its mouth was mottled with blood and carrion. The Spinosaurus roars.

Chucky stares at the Spinosaurus, mumbling to himself “This isn’t good. What have I gotten myself into?”
The Spinosaur roars. Chucky looks at Grant and mouthed, “What do we do?”
Grant answered, “Spinosaurus Aegypticus, according to Jack Horner, would be able to cause an extinction on the entire island. But in reality, the Spinosaur was a fact a piscivorous, a fish eating dinosaur.”
“So no need to worry?” Chucky asked.
“No need to worry,” Grant said.

Chucky looks up at the Spinosaur, and the dinosaur just stares right back at him, tilting its head curiously. Chucky looks around on the ground and finds a stick. He picks it up and chucks it at the thing. He throws it as far as he can. “Nice juice stick,” Chucky said. “Fetch!
The Spinosaurus gets into the spirit of the game, but not the object. “Lame brain! What’s the matter with you?” Chucky continues, shaking his head. “No wonder why you were extinct.”

Paul and Amanda laugh. “Where do we go from here Dr. Grant?” Paul asked.
Chucky who is still yelling at the Spinosaur, walks right up to it, waving a fist at the creature. “Jack Horner,” Chucky shouted, “thought you were all, “making quotation marks with is fingers, “big, bad, and better than the T rex”, well your not.”

The Spinosaurus roars at them. And all of the sudden the creature starts to running towards Chucky. Looking up, Chuck says, “Nice dinosaur.”
“Run,” Grant yells, as he takes off running in the direction they just came from.

    CHAPTER THREE

Dr. Grant, Paul and Amanda Kirby, and Chucky race back to the dense jungle, and the Spinosaurus starts to chase them.

Chucky runs in front of Grant, and abruptly stops dead in his tracts. Up ahead is the Tyrannosaurus; looking at them it roars. No where to run, the group scatters into the bushes as the two behemoth predators rush forward, their roars thunderous.

Paul and Amanda scramble in one direction, and Grant in another. But Chucky can’t go anywhere, his foot is stuck between two branches. “Help, help,” Chucky yells, “I’m kinda, sorta, got myself stuck here. Someone wanna help me out?”
He manages to break himself free, just as the two dinosaurs approach. Chucky Sims dives down between to fallen tress as the Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaur circle one another, like gladiators, searching for each others weakness.

Chucky was lying in his back, between the tress, when suddenly the giant foot of the Tyrannosaur lands on the two tree trunks, just inches above his face.

The Spinosaur lunges forward, its powerful jaws open wide. The Tyrannosaur sidesteps the assault, it’s tail knocks down a small tree; where Paul and Amanda were hiding behind. Paul and Amanda make a run for another tree.

Chucky attempted to to get away, by walking on his hands and knees. The Tyrannosaur presses on the attack, slamming its tail down, barely missing Chucky. Chucky drops to the ground.

    * * * *

From off the Jurassic Park IV set, Jon Sattelberger, the films visual effects supervisor, blurts out, “Come on rexy! Your the champ, don’t let that pansy Spinosaur take away your throne!”

    On the set:
Sam Neill (Dr. Alan Grant), turns and looks at Jon. “Excuse me, Jon, would you please keep your comments to yourself. We are in the middle of filming one of the intense action sequences of this film.”
Jon, looks over at the film director Tiffany Taira, and says, “He talked to me. Sam Neill actually talked to me,” Jon said, smiling ear to ear.
“Let’s continue this scene, shall we?” Tiffany Taira shouted. “Action.”

    * * * *

The Spinosaur struggles to regain its balance, the rex drives forward; its jaws open wide, trying to get a grip around the spino's throat. The Tyrannosaur knocks to Spinosaur down, on its side.

Lying on its side, the Spinosaurus tries to fight back ferociously. It slashes at the rex with its long arms and razor claws, then suddenly it kicks the rex with one mammoth foot.

The Tyrannosaur staggers back, lightly wounded. The Tyrannosaur looks off set, back towards Jon Sattelberger, as if given a second wind, the Tyrannosaur stands up, stronger than before, and lunges at the approaching Spinosaurus with gaping jaws and manages to topple the Spinosaur off of its feet. Sending the flailing dinosaur to the ground.

With an earth shuddering crash, the Spinosaurus lands between Chucky and the rest of the group.

The Tyrannosaur lowers its massive head down towards its lifeless adversary, and opens its jaws, and crushes down on its head.

Grant looks at the others, and says, “Come on.”

The group runs off into the jungle. Chucky pauses for a moment, and takes a quick look back at the two dinosaurs. The Tyrannosaur let out a victorious roar, as its snapped its jaws forward and bit off a chuck of the Spinosaurus neck.

Our heroic heroes continue their journey through the dark jungle. Winded from running, Paul is caught off guard as Grant slams him back against a tree. The look on Grant’s face, Paul could see there was only one thing on his mind—
“Kirby, why did you bring us all back here,” Grant snapped. “You could have just gotten yourself a new wallet at K-Mart for less that ten bucks.”
Paul is too startled to speak. Chucky looks at Grant, then at Amanda, and before he could have said anything, Grant holds him back with a look.
“Paul’s wallet,” Amanda said. “his most prized possession is on this island. And no K-Mart brand wallet can replace that. We need you help to find Paul’s lost wallet.”

Still crushed against the tree, Paul reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a photo of his wallet and shows it to Grant. “This is my wallet,” Paul said. “It’s over thirty years old now. It’s just about the greatest wallet in the world.”

Chucky looks at Grant and says, “Who carries a picture of their wallet?”
Letting go of Paul, Grant takes the photo, its a Sears style portrait of the wallet. He shakes his head, disbelieving. He hands the photo to Chucky.

    “But why me?” Grant asked.
“We needed somebody who knew the lay of the land. Somebody who’d been to this island not that long ago. And we wanted to insured we would be back in the next sequel. I had such a great time being in the third one, even though the writer of the script, Peter Buchman I believe, gave us all very corny lines.”
“Jurassic Park 4 was going to be either set on the mainland or back on ISLA NUBLAR,” Grant said.
“I didn’t know there were two islands with dinosaurs on them” Chucky said.
“You never saw the original Jurassic Park?” Grant asked in disbelief. “And you wanted to be in the fourth one.”
Alan Grant still looking at Chucky continues, "Did you even see Jurassic Park 3? They portrayed me as an old geezer."
    "Oh yeah, " Chucky answered.
"Noreen Wilkie," Grant said. "was the one," making quotation makers with his figures, "did my make up" for the film."
    "Who's Noreen?" Amanda asked.
"Ooh, I better stay away from her, before I turn out looking like ... God who knows.."
"I should have just had my wife, Noriko Watanabe, do my make up," Grant said. Before anyone else could speak, Grant puts his hand out. He wants everyone to shut up while he plans their next move. “We head for the coast,” Grant said. “Maybe their is a boat, or something left over from the third movie, to get us off this island.”
“Dr. Grant,” Paul said. “We’re not leaving this island without my wallet.”
“You can stick with me, or you can go look for your damn wallet for all I care. Either way, you’ve probably not getting off this island...again.” With that Grant starts walking away, thinking to himself, I swear I've said these damn lines once before.

Paul looks at Amanda and Chucky. “What do we do?” he asked.
“Well, I think we should start to search for your wallet Mr. Kirby,” Chucky said. “In the direction he’s going.”
    “Excellent,” Paul said.
They all run to catch up with Grant.

Chuck shouts to Grant, “Where we going?”
“Back to the plane,” Grant answered. “We’ll salvage what we can. And after that head for the coast.”

    * * * *

The four survivors forge through the wreckage, trying to find anything useful. Chucky Sims, picks up a gun out of a puddle of yellow liquid. But the barrel is bent almost 90 degrees.
Grant looks over at Chucky, “You know,” he said, “that was Tyrannosaur pee you just had your hands in.”
“Gross,” Chucky said, wiping his hands on pant legs. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
Grant walks away, not bothering to answer Chucky’s question.
Grant and company start walking down a dense pathway, heading back into the jungle. The four now begin marching upward to the crest of a hill top.

Upon reaching the hill top the trail became progressively narrower, twisting as it ran down the hillside. They came around a curve, and suddenly saw a fallen tree blocking the path. The tree had been denuded in the center, giving the impression that large animals had repeatedly stepped over it.

The air was still and quiet, except for an occasion breeze blew in the treetops. Suddenly they heard some rustling coming from some nearby foliage, and unexpectedly a man on a bicycle road out right in front of them from the dark jungle. Chucky looks at Grant, “Look’s like we’re not the only one’s on this island.”

The man stopped dead in his tracks, turned to face Chucky and said, “That’s really obvious.” With that he started riding down the trail, down to the valley below.

    “Wait wait!’ Paul shouted.
“It’s very unwise to be making so much noise,” the man said.
“I told them that in Jurassic Park 3,” Grant said. “Did they listen to me? No.”
Paul continued, in a quieter tone, “Have you happen to come across a wallet?” He reached into his back pocket and pulled out his photo of his wallet. “This is my wallet,” Paul said, heading the picture to the man.
“Who carries a picture of their damn wallet?” the man asked. “And no I haven’t seen your wallet. Should ask the locals of this island, they may have seen it.” The man started down the hillside once again, disappearing into the dark jungle.

The group looked down to the valley below, not that far off is a vast compound comprised of several buildings. One building alone seems to cover several acres.
“Mr. Kirby,” Chucky asked, “do you remember where you were when you lost your wallet?”
Paul Kirby, stopped for a moment to think, “Yes,” he answered. “I believe, I was in that compound,” Kirby said, pointing down towards the large structure. I bet there’s a good chance my wallet is in there. I’d bet my bottom dollar on it.”

Chucky and Grant share a dubious look and continue down into the valley.
