EXTREAME EDITION: MAD Chapter 1
ROUGH LANDING: EARTH
Space, silent. Black. Like death. An unknowning end. A ship sped toward planet Earth. It sent out its SOS Transmission:
Incoming Transmission.....
There ou.....RUN!!!...Get IN HERE!......NOW!...Shut the door.... (Long Silence) Mayday...Mayday.....Were going dow.......Repeat, we are going down.....planet Earth!!!........Island!!!...There trying to get in the room. Hear that? Scratching. Jesus they just don’t give up........ (Silence) .......What the hell........Ship following us, it doesnt appear to be any kind of ship........I..known..........Oh god.....................
Transmission End.....
No one answered. No one heared.
The ships hull burned in the earths atmosphere. The ships landing procedure started up, and the ship headed into energency landing zone (the closest land form). The ship landed, doors opened. Stern was leading his men out of the ship. They were after their cargo, worth millions, but they
had more problems now, huge animals. And their ship wasn’t in good shape.
Stern : Single file men! We still got a job to do! Can anybody tell me about the UnIdentified Ship?
Krum: Umm sir, Iv seen that ship before.. it must be the “Predator” ship, or that’s what my buds
called them, at the station.
Krum looked pleased that he knew so much more than the others. He was the smart guy in this team, he and everyone one els knew it.
Stern: A Predator? Well what the hell is that?
Phillips: Fuck the predators, what about ... the Queen?
Jay: We will get her back!
The Krumous crew wasn’t very large. Four marines, one doctor and one Mechanic. Stern put this crew together to make money. And if the security system would have worked, they would be
richer a little sooner. Outside, it was muggy, and hot. Not the best combonation. The crew saw the large hole the aliens had created to get out of the hull and into the wild.
Cortney: Sir, this hole is going to take a while to repair. Permission to stay behind and correct the
problems to the ship.
Stern: Permission Granted. But I dont want you here alone. Dr. Venkman will stay with you.
Cortney: Ok sir, Permission to start now?
Stern: Granted.
She walked back inside.
Venkman: Thanks sir for letting me stay here and check her out... I mean check out the ships condition.
He quickly turned and went in the ship.
The team looked around the surrounding area. Greenery everywhere.
Stern: I think there are people on this island! Look over there, a road.
There was a bill board near the uncared for road that said Visitor Center with an arrow pointing up the road. And it showed a big beautiful building.
Jay:I hope they have fire power!
Kimbrel: I counted nine drones and the Queen, we should all be armed!
Everyone had a panicked look on their face.
Stern: Jay take lead, and head everybody to the weapons bay. Move!
Jay: Yes sir!
Jay led the crew to the weapons bay, armor, pulserifles, and what amunition was to be found. men reassembled outside.
Jay: All ready and acounted for sir!
Stern: Good work!
Jay: New mission men, not only recapture lost cargo, but survay area. We may have savillians in danger. Get those legs moving, we’ve no time to lose.
Stern: Hold up!
There was a rumble in the jungle, somewhere in the darkness. A roar, echoing within the jungle. It went quite.
Jay:What the fuck was that?
Kimbrel: It sounds close.
The ground shook. Trees could be heard hitting down on the ground hard. Then it
all stopped. Seconds passed, Stern looked around first at his squad, he saw the panic look on everyone’s face,Then back to the jungle. To the right corner of his eye he saw something
Stern: Shit!
A Tyrannosaurs Rex stepped out of the Jungle! It looked around, smelled the the prey.
Phillips: RUN!!!
Krum: No, don’t move, don’t...ah hell...Run!
Everyone started running from the huge animal! It roared in anger, and started running much faster than the wimpy marines could. Soon a rumbling came from overhead, the Rex stopped to look at the incoming sound. A strange ship hovered overhead and landed out of view in the distance. The team, took their chance and got off the road, and into the dark green jungle.
Stern: Were safe...for now.
Jay:For how long?
Stern:How the hell should I know? We should find the road again.
Slime dripped from high in the trees. Something was going to attack. An animal burst out of the jungle. Trees and fern were flying onto the team. The fast creature grabbed Stern... and ran
into the jungle. The animal started to eat Stern while he was alive.
Stern: HELP!!! Shit....... shoot it.... shoot.......
Phillips: Shit NO!
The sound of Sterns screaming stopped with a gurgle.... the sounds of of the animal feasting remained. The team opened fire. Shooting high into the jungle.
Jay: We arnt hitting shit!
Krum: He is dead, we need to go!
The group started running. Trying to escape the terror.
Cortney started to get the spare metal parts in the cargo bay, Dr. Venkman walked in.
Venkman: Hey, need any help with those?
Cortney: Sure, here take this end.
He grabed the end and they started for the hole.
Venkman: So where are you from, origonally?
Cortney: Were not here to talk about me.
Venkman: Here let me start with myself. I’m Dr. Peter Venkman. (He said with a cheesy smile)
I’m from New York. I used to help run a small paranormal business. Not sure if you would have heared of it. Did I mention that I was a game show host?
Cortney:No you didnt, but from what I can see I belive you on the game show part.
They reached the hole. They lifted the sheet of metal, and bolted it down.
Peter: That wasnt to hard.
Cortney: Were not done. Many many more sheets to go.
Peter: You know, I’m not sure if I’m the best guy for the job, I have fragil hands....
EXTREME EDITION: MAD Chapter 2
JUNGLE MADNESS
The team was running for sometime, all were running out of breath. Losing strength.
Jay: Stop! Stop! Now!
Phillips: We can’t! Were all going to die! Its going to find us just like it did before...
Jay: Shut up
Phillips: Its going come for us
Jay: Shut up!
Phillips: And its going to kill us!
Jay: SHUT UP, SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!
Jay ran towards Phillips, Krum and Kimbrel stopped him.
Kimbrel: Guys, god damn! Stop fighting, look I’m tired, we need to rest!
The group stopped to rest in by a little stream. The water was calm. Slow. It had a mesmorizing trickle to it. The team almost didnt notice the little greenish brown dinosaur that popped out of a bush.
Jay: What the hell is that?
Krum: Its a Compysognathus or Compy!
Krum had a smile on his face. He could see the whole dinosaur, just looking at them.
Phillips: Will it hurt us?
Krum: I wouldn't think so! Were much bigger, and I’m sure it wouldn't want to get hurt!
Kimbrel: He doesn’t look scared, looks hungry to me.
Jay pulled a candy bar from his pocket and started walking to the little dinosaur when it made a very little roar, and jumped back into the bush
Jay: The candy bar isn’t that old. Picky little bugger.
A hiss came from the direction the little dinosaur was.
Phillips: Boy that little thing sure can hiss...
Kimbrel: I don’t think that was the little guy.
Jay: Get your guns!
Jay could see three Drones facing them. Not moving. But waiting for the perfict moment to strike. All of a sudden that moment came. One Alien jumped up into the air and was heading toward the marines, claws out and ready!
Jay: Move!
Back in the ship Cortney and Peter had gotten half the work done so far. The hole was complete.
Peter: Boy!
Cortney: That wasnt so hard now was it?
Peter: Well seeing that it was only your beauty that kept me going, I would say I’m not sure if I
could ever do anything like that again.
Cortney shook her head, and headed to the communications room.
Peter: You know I’m sure glad I hadnt woken up during that landing, by the looks of it you guys
made a mess.
Cortney: I think we have to go roof top to fix the antena.
Cortney opened the hatch to the top of the ship, and climbed out. Peter followed.
Peter: Do you normally do this kind of stuff? Or are you just trying to impress me? Getting in high places, you know, I..I’m not scared or anything. But is there anything I can do inside the ship?
Cortney: No, I need to help hold up the wire.
Peter: Well... ok but lets make it quick. You know, to get out of the heat.
Peter looked over the side, and saw the long drop.
Jay had his gun in hand, ready to fire. The Alien was about ten feet away...When a huge head struck out of the jungles top. The Rex took the Alien and tossed it onto the ground...The Alien split into pieces and the acid blood hit a side of the Rex’s head! Blood and steam came from the ROARING dinosaur...When the acid seemed to stop...The Rex was bloody...you could see the bone, and muscle, under what was left of the skin. The Rex was twisting its head trying to free
the pain.
Three red dots appeared on the Rexs head, soon six, then nine. The Rex stayed very still. Searching for where the light beams were coming from,then the Rex bit into the jungle trees,
bright green blood was seeping out, around wear the Rex’s head was. Sparks started to fly. They were falling down onto the ground. Then two Predators jumped down and out of the jungle
spears ready for battle, the Rex roared at the two strange warriors dropping the smaller one, biting at one of the two. One of the Predators speared the Rexs side and roared for more battle.
the Rex swung its tail hitting the two predators into the jungle out of site. The Rex roared and picked up the small meal and walked into the jungle.
Phillips:What the hell?
Jay: Shit this is war!
Krum:We should move... Don’t you think? Sometime about ... Now!
The group retreated as the sun fell, hisses and roars could be heared through out the jungle. They all had guns ready in hand. Then they found a small cement building.
Jay:We should stay here for the night. Everyone still have there stuff? Lets have an equipment
check.
Kimbrel: Jay. What are we going to do?
Jay: I don’t know.
Kimbrel: We have to do something, Sterns gone, that makes you in charge.
Jay: I know the ranking system. Look try to get some rest. Thats an order.
Kimbrel fell into her corner.
Jay: Look everybody, I want a look out, we will switch every 2 hours. I’ll take first watch.
The Team got in there own little corners, and tried to sleep.
EXTREME EDITION: MAD Chapter 3
THE DARK FATE
The night was dark. The sounds of the jungle were overwhelming. The men couldn't sleep. With Stern gone, the mission was over. They didn’t need to catch the Aliens . Jay sat up and clicked on his com.
Jay:Hey Doc. you there?
Jay waited for a few seconds then said
Jay:Yo, Doctor, You there?"
after a few more seconds Jay's com clicked and he heard
Cortney: I'm here Jay. The Doc is disposed of, hes taking his nap time. Find anything interesting
Jay? I’m not to sure about this Venkman, hes a bit strange. Something wronge?
Jay looked up, then to the floor
Jay: Cortney, Sterns dead. There are...Dinosaurs on this island, and now some Predator creatures Krum talks about."
Cortney:What? Sterns dead... How?
Jay looked up again and closed his eyes
Jay:He was taken into the jungle by an animal. He was screaming. I’m glad you didnt have to
see it.
There was a long wait... the bugs outside made their night chirp. Then Corteny said
Cortney:Well, Theres a big building not to far away from wear your at. You should take a look then get back here I’v almost got everything ready.
Jay:Ok, thanks and well see you soon, over and out.
Jay waited about 20 mins. Then said
Jay: Get up, were moving out!
The Team didn't take long to get ready and they were out back into the foggy jungle. They couldn't see very far, the jungle sounds were load, dark. Then it all stopped. A dark figure ran passed the team. It was a Drone, it jumped up into the fog. Fog went up with it. The drone was ready to kill. Then ... a Raptor jumped up and out of the jungle, onto the Alien, more Raptors were after, The marines got out there gun and fired, killing a Raptor and the drone. Acid hit the raptors, and they made a growling sound, then jumped back into the jungle.
The Team wasn't there to see the Alien die or the raptors go back into the jungle. They could see the building. A Raptor followed them. It looked hungry, ready to kill anything. Krum kicked in the door and ran in with the team the raptor started running after. The building was dark, and dusty. The team walked farther into the building.
Jay: Watch out Krum!
A drone dropped from the wall then headed for Krum. Jay fired at the Drone, it missed and then jumped over Krum and landed on Phillips. Krum got his gun and fired at the creature, it grazed its arm and hit the following Raptor in the tail, the raptor roared in pain, then looked at the Drone, it screamed and jumped on top of it, the two creatures were rolling on the ground.
Phillips: Shoot! Shoot both of them!
Jay, Krum and Kimbrel all faired at the creatures. Killing them. The raptor started to melt under
the Alien.
The farther they went in the darker it got, soon the group had to use there own light to see... Jay
looked around...
Jay:What the hell?
Kimbrel: Lets go, we need to get out of here.
The walls were covered in dark slime. Then they could see the Eggs, they were all over the place. Huge eggs. The Queen had been busy. The farther they went, the more eggs there were. Jay clicked on his com. Phillips looked over in one of the eggs, as it
opened,
Phillips: Hey guys look at this
Jay:SHIT NO!
It was to late, the face hugger attached to Phillips head. Tail wraped around his neck.
Jay:Shit- Hey power up! Come and get us.
Cortney: We will be there soon.
Peter strapped himself in. As did Cortney, she was starting the launching sequence.
Peter: You know that was a nice nap. I’m glad you sugested it.
Cortney: What ever it took to get you out of my hair...
Peter: What was that?
Cortney: Nothing... Ok, powering up the cell. Ready for lifting...
Kimbrel opened a door, Krum and Jay carring Phillips, then there she was. The Queen. She was perched up on her throne.
The ground shook. The Queen looked at a wall, and then ...
The wall broke, brick and dust spraying everywhere. The Rex stepped in crushing the queens precious eggs, and roared. The Queen looked at the Rex and broke from her perch to seek revenge and protect her remaining eggs. The Rex twisted its head, knocked down the Queen.
The Queen hissed and clawed the Rexs face, then jumped on its back. The Rex rolled over, causing the Queen to let go. They looked at each other, both in anger. The Rex lept forward, crushing the queen against a wall. The Queen pushed back.
The Krumous was right out side. The group jay picked up Phillips over his sholder and they all ran for the rip in the wall, The fighting creatures were in a battle to the death, Acid and Blood
spraied all over!!!
Cortney: Open the loading bay hatch!
Peter opened the door, and the group climbed in.
Jay climbed in fast, set Phillips down and ran to the com,
Jay: GO! GO!
Kimbrel: Get the fuck out of here!
They looked down at the Rex and Queen. The battle lasted, as they lifted out of sight , they heared the Rex Roar.
Peter: Whats the blob on his face? I heared of ugly but that really take the big one. They took Phillips to the Medical room. Set him on the table, and all they could do is wait.
Jay:Doc, watch him ,and inform me of any changes in his condition.
Peter: I can do that for you.
In the ship, as it drifted in the sky, the crew just waited.
Jay: I’m not sure if hes going to make it.
Cortney: We have lost one to many people on this. We can’t lose him.
Time passed, heading for the Military Base they all rested. Jay sat until his com beped.
Peter: Jay, I think you should come take a look at this.
Jay: Is it serious?
Peter: its intresting...
Jay walked down the the medical room. When he entered, he looked at Phillips and saw that the creature was not attached to him anymore.
Jay: Where did it go?
Peter: I dont know. But Phillips is still alive.
They searched the room.
Peter: Look in the corner, its dead.
Phillips woke up. Groggy at first.
Phillips: Damn, I’m hungry.
Jay Laughed
Jay: Yeah, lets get us some grub.
Jay: Hey guys look whos awake!
Kimbrel: Damn man, you are one stupid dork.
Phillips: Yeah, yeah... Wheres the food.
The food was set for the crew, and they were all eating dinner.
Phillips: It was weired, it was like a was in a coma. I’m just glad I.......
Phillips started caughing.
Peter: Whats wrong man? Food go down the wrong tube?
Phillips fell on the table. Started jerking in a harsh manner. Then blood spraied from inside his shirt.
Kimbrel: Oh my god!
A chestburster clawed it was through Phillips shirt, and into the new world. Slimy, bloody, and fast the thing sprand forward.
Jay: Shit
