Meeting Evan
Chapter. Six
A black jeep quickly sped threw a hiking trail passing by some tourists who were busy making out to even notice them passing by. In the front were two men who had black sunglasses on as well as black leather jackets and black jeans. In the back was Tim and Lex Murphy, both staring at the men with evil glares.
"Why in the hell did you bring us here?!", Lex yelled.
She looked down at her wrist which were starting to hurt because of the rope that the men had tied around her and her brothers wrist. "...Why did my grandpa just let you do this to us?".
The man in the passenger seat turned around to face the two with a frown. "Honestly, I don't agree with all this but we only follow orders but...dinosaurs have been showing up in Costa Rica...".
"Yeah we know that obviously!", Lex said rolling her eyes in disgust.
"...Okay. Well InGen is scared and worried that the dinosaurs might get off of Costa Rica and spread into cities and big rural areas that are full of cities with a big population of people, well their worried that if that happens then a bundal of lawsuits will start happening especially if people can prove that its the dinosaurs doing all this".
Tim shook his head in confusion. "Then what does that have to do with us?".
"Well, InGen feels that everyone who has been around the dinosaurs, on Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna and...survived the ordeals should help handle this problem since they know how the dinosaurs act and know what to deal with...don't worry though, we've still assigned many people to come and assist you all on the trip including me. We couldn't get a hold of the Kirbys but we don't think they would be of much help anyways...we tried getting a hold of Roland Tempo but hes clear across the state and since he technically already helped us a great deal by capturing that Tyrannosaurus Rex from Isla Sorna we figured that we'd let him off the hook, we were going to bring Billy Brennan with us but we found him of no use as well".
"Then I guess Ian Malcolm and Sarah Harding won't be here then...", Lex said with a attitude yet still interested in the whole conversation. "...I mean considering they helped capture and contain the Tyrannosaurus and its infant before the dinosaurs could do even more damage in San-Diego".
The man nodded. "Yeah thats true but no, their still going to have to help us, since they were so good at rounding up the infant and its mom, we figured they would help us a great deal by tracking down these animals and containing them...we still haven't even tried to get them yet though, some other people should be going over to the Malcolms home soon to retrieve them...Alan and an assistant to him at his dig site came on their own free will because Katarina, his assisistant, her parents were killed by one of our dinosaurs...her siblings are yet to be found obviously presumed dead especially if the Velociraptors were the ones who attacked her family...she still has hope though".
Lex nodded, she didn't know why, not at all, but she was starting to be okay with the man. He looked young, maybe in his mid-twentys, had black hair and looked averagly tall from what she could see considering the circumstances of him sitting, standing up he was probably taller than what she imagined. She looked over to the side and noticed that Tim looked aggravatedly mad but decided to ignore it. It was strange but she wasn't mad at the man, he looked like he was just thrown into the mix of all this, at least he wasn't like that idiot that had beaten her.
"So what's your name?", Lex asked. "I'm sure you already know mine".
The man smiled. "Yes, your Alexis Murphy and..." the man slowly said looking over at Tim who was giving him a dirty look and then looked away. "...he's Timothy Murphy".
"We prefer just Lex and Tim, we hate our long names".
"Oh, well, then Lex and Tim...my name is Evan Hazlet...listen I know you are both probably really mad at this whole situation but I won't let anything happen to you guys along the way".
Evan was suprised at how well Alexis...Lex, was taking the whole situation, even Tim who had been really mad a second ago was starting to lighten up when he noticed that his expression was slowly from a hateful glare to a 'considering' grin.
"I still want to know one thing! Why did my grandpa just sit by and let all this happen...especially to us?", Lex asked.
"Lex...to tell you both the truth, I don't even know, neither does my partner", Evan said referring to the driver who just stared ahead silently. "Were just people who work for InGen and are assigned to help with this mess".
"Okay, I don't know why i'm agreeing with this nonsence but i'll help", Lex said quickly looking at her brother as soon as she finished the short sentence.
Tim looked at her in shock but then looked down and forced the three words out in a slow raspy voice. "I'll help too".
Lex raised an eyebrown but decided not to comment, instead she decided to ask Evan another question. "When can we see Dr. Grant and the others?".
"Very soon actually...listen, I wan't to thank you two for agreeing with this and like I said, I'll protect you both", Evan finished saying before getting inturrupted by the ringing of his phone.
Evan quickly reached into his pocket pulling out a small cell-phone clicking the 'on' button and putting it up to his ear. "Yeah...okay...What?!...Your kidding...Damn...Bye!".
"Whats wrong?", the man next to him said finally speaking.
Evan turned around to sit properly in his seat wiping the sweat off his forehead in a worried shaken way. "Biosyn got Ian and Sarah...including Malcolm's daughter Jennifer...I guess they got them before we could...damn this is not good, not at all".
Lex heard this and shook her head in depression. Oh no, Dr. Malcolm, his wife and his daughter were in danger and what did Evan mean by Biosyn got them first? Were the two companys running against time and each other to get every one of them? She didn't know but she knew that it meant trouble for the future.

Alan and Ellie reunited
Chapter. Seven
Another jeep sped down the same familier dirt path that Evan and the Murphys had been driving down earlier. The sun was now up in the sky and the morning was as beautiful as could be. Birds could be heard chirping in a singing pattern and the wind slightly swayed the small trees back and forth. Alan, Kat, two men, a woman and a man who both looked familier walked threw a large field where the grass was rotting and looked as if something had tooken the time to pull the roots out the ground seeing as their were many holes where plants had once been, it really was a depressing site.
"Dr. Sattler, Dr. Grant can you both please help me identify this print?", a man said with a deep hoarse voice bending down to look at something imprinted on the ground.
Dr. Ellie Sattler and Alan both walked over to the man both giving a look of suprise to each other. "Yeah...we know what that footprint belongs to all right. Tyrannosaurus Rex".
The man stood up and pointed a rifle becoming especially cautious from the news. Dr. Nick Van Owen walked over to the print imbeded into the ground. "Yeah, that sure is a Tyrannosaurus Rex footprint".
Dr. Ellie Sattler was now thirty-nine years old but still looked the same as she had five years ago. Her blonde hair was once again short like it had been thirteen years ago and she looked even more beautful than before, those were about the only changes. Kat was staring at the ground the whole time with a worried and rushed look on her face. Alan walked over to her when he noticed her worried expression.
"Your sisters are going to be fine", Alan said trying to sound positive, he wasn't that happy about the chances, her parents had been killed so why would her sisters somehow survive? Maybe they were just extremely lucky, they could only hope.
Dr. Nick Van Owen sighed blocking the sun with his hand as he looked ahead to the other side of the field where a small pond appeared to be, they would have to walk around that. Nick was his same old self, he had his brown curly hair, he was still tall of course and had his same adventurous look to him.
Ellie walked over to Alan and giggled ending it with a sigh of thought. "Oh Alan...why did we agree to come on this trip?...I must really not be dealing with the divorce between me and Mark huh?...If i'm agreeing to come on my potentially 'last' trip just to get my mind off things".
Alan smiled. "Don't worry, we have people with weapons this time".
The man looked around once more pointing the gun in every direction. "Okay everyone...we have to meet up with the others soon so we should all hurry up and start heading off".
Everyone looked at each other and nodded beginning to move on in a quick fast-paced movement. Alan was about to walk up to Kat to see how she was doing but decided not too when Nick walked over to her first. Alan looked over at Ellie who was walking quietly looking to the ground obviously thinking of things. Alan could just stare at her beautiful face all day but unfortunetly knew he couldn't.
Ellie looked up and caught Alan staring at her before he quickly looked away. She giggled and walked over to Alan resting her head on his shoulder and then taking it off sensing the nervousness in Alan.
"How has everything been Alan? It's been a great while".
Alan looked over at her and slightly smiled taking a deep breath. "Oh everythings been okay I guess. My assistant Billy Brennan wen't on to develop his own career in Paleontology and my assistant Kat is risking her life to look for her sisters who are potentially dead".
Ellie frowned and looked over at Kat who was talking to Nick still having that worried, depressed look on her face. "Yeah, hows she doing?".
Alan shrugged. "Shes not good...she fainted when she found out and shes thrown up already two times out of panic, shes broken out in tears already seven times".
"Poor girl, do you think her sisters are alive?", Ellie asked.
Alan exhaled once again taking off his hat to stroke his hair. "Honestly Ellie...no. The parents are dead and the girls were probably with them at the time, so no".
Ellie looked over at Kat who was once again now crying, Nick trying to comfort her but looking extremely uncompfortable about the whole situation. "I think you can make that eight times that shes broken out in tears".
Alan looked over at her and sighed. "Do you think I should go over their?".
Ellie smiled and nodded, Alan nodded in agreement and began walking away. Ellie watched his every move and every step he took. She looked down to the floor and whispered 'yes' to herself before looking to her front again.

The Split Up
Chapter. Eight
"Guys, why are we still hiking? We were supposed to turn back...yesterday!", Chris said in shock.
Everyone stopped in their tracks, he was right, how could they have all forgotten to turn back. They must have been really intent on finding that creature that they had totally lost track of time, they weren't even really that tired though there legs were acheing from all the walking they had done.
"Alright lets turn back now you guys", Alyson said turning around to walk back in the direction they had came from. "If we walk fast we should reach the bus by the end of the day!".
Everyone nodded and turned around as well, all moaning out of annoyance and frusteration. Almost everyone at the same time zipped their backpacks open and pulled out sandwhiches and bottles of soda or water.
"Great", Alyson said swaying her arms violently. "Tanner is going to blow and were all going to be in a bunch of trouble...right before my mom was going to take me and my sister to Universal Studios...just great!".
"Calm down Alyson, maybe showing her the pictures I took of that animal will calm her down and make her forget the whole thing...and plus, we can always threaten to give her horrible reviews if she says we were bad which techniqually we really weren't, we just lost track of time thats all", Chris said quickly bending down to tie his shoe.
Alyson smiled and then laughed to herself. "Yeah, guess your right huh?".
Chris was about to reply back when the group heard a strange noise, like a hiss. Everyone stared in silence ahead of them where the noise had come from, no more noise, everyone just shrugged it off and began walking slowly until suddenly another noise popped out of nowhere this time even louder than before.
"This is not good, lets just keep on walking and don't stop", Alyson said beginning to walk extremely fast until another sound echoed threw the air making her stop once again.
"Hey! Maybe its that animal we saw", Jerry suggested trying to peer threw the trees.
Jerry slowly walked towards the forest walking out the pathway to investigate. Chris smirked. "Yeah. Umm Jerry, that noise we heard sounded like it came from something much bigger and get back onto the path Jerry!".
Jerry looked around for a second waiting for the noise to return, nothing, he quickly turned around and walked back into the path crossing his arms. "Damn, no luck".
Alyson shrugged. "Well maybe thats a good thing, c'mon we should get-".
Suddenly black slime hit her backpack while she was putting her water bottle away. Alyson gasped and dropped her pack onto the ground jumping backwards. "What did that?!".
Everyone backed up slowly, whatever had shot that goo out was somewhere to their side in the forest. Splat!, more slime smacked against a boys arm making him wince.
"Sh*t! It's burning!", the boy screamed trieing to wipe it off only making matters worse, his fingers were now burning too.
Alyson ran up to him and pulled out her water bottle quickly pouring the water onto the slime which barely even budged, she groaned as she grabbed leaves from the nearby trees trying to wipe the slime off, little by little she succeded in removing the substance off the boys arm.
"Here!", Alyson said handing him her water bottle and bending down to pull a cloth out of her backpack. "...put the water on this cloth and stick it on the place where that black stuff hit.
Suddenly they all heard a loud hiss that wouldn't stop, then it turned into a menacing snarl that continued on. Everyone screamed and began running forward in the wrong direction getting furhur away from the path each second, they all tried to stay together as they ran. Alyson, Chris, Jerry, Ariana and a boy who looked like he was having a panic attack were all holding hands as they pushed threw brush and thich branches. They all gasped when they entered an open field which was magnificently large and looked like it would take forever to get across.
"Help!", a girls voice screamed echoeing threw the forest nearby. "Stay away from me!".
Alyson gasped. "We need to try and help her!".
Chris grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back before she could re-enter the forest. "No! Its too late".
"...and how do you know that?!", Alyson said pushing away from Chris's grip and staring him down.
The girl in the forest screamed loudly and the sound of a snarl made them all shudder.
"Thats how", Chris said before beginning a long sprint into the field, everyone following close behind. As they ran, they could all hear the sound of screaming in the forest behind them, whatever was out their was attacking the students and they didn't want to be the next victims.

The Glass 'House'
Chapter. Nine
Tanner ran threw the same path everyone had been walking down earlier before the strange attack. She looked back to see if anyone was behind her, no one, they must have all ran into the forest, she didn't know what she should do. Run into the forest and risk getting swiped by whatever was in the forest? Or run along the path and risk getting easily spotted by whatever was out their? She would have a better chance on the path she though so she decided to stay on it. But that decision was eliminated when the path she had been running in ended and she wound up running into a strange compound.
"What the f*ck?", Tanner whispered to herself as she examined the buildings made of...glass.
Not one building was made of bricks, or cement, not even wood. Only glass. It had to be reinforced glass because anything could easily damage the house if it hit it. The buildings were all very tall, she sighed when she saw a chicken wire fence which was extremely tall, it was probably to keep away small or even big animals like cows or something...maybe even people. She was about to walk along the side of the wired fence until suddenly she heard a hiss somewhere in the path behind her. She sprinted toward the fence and pulled her pocket knife from her pocket and began cutting at the wired fence. No luck. This wasn't any regular chicken wire. She turned around in horror when she heard the noise again, turning around, she looked down and saw a big enough gap for her to squeeze under.
"Oh god!", she said to herself in agony knowing she would probably get cut up but it was better than what would happen if she waited their for whatever was out there to get her.
She heard noises, not just hissing, this time she heard branches on the floor snapping getting closer to her by the second. Whatever was in the forest knew she was there and was possibly watching her. Tanner quickly flew to the floor and began slowly sliding herself underneath the fence, some of the chicken wire scraped her cheek making her wince, she saw some blood slither down her mouth, she screamed when she heard a loud screech coming from ahead of her, she just yanked her whole body across the fence ignoring the scorching pains in her body, her clothes taring.
"God!", she screamed as she stood up and began running with all her might.
Whatever had been stalking her was probably already trying to cross the fence to get at her. She didn't even bother looking back, she ran to the nearest house and tried the door, luckily the door opened though it caused trouble for her before finally giving in. Closing the door behind her, she looked out the door and looked all the way to the fence, she wanted to scream, she saw a six inch figure though she couldn't see it well because of the distance between them but she knew it wasn't human. She turned around and looked around the house, it was two stories, she limped forward, blood was sliding down her arms and legs where she had gotten cut at. Nothing but hallways filled the first floor but she didn't even want to bother searching threw them, she ran to the first set of staires she saw and ran up them until she reached one hallway.
"shoot!", Tanner screamed when she heard the sound of glass breaking from the first floor.
Tanner ran threw the long hallway until she reached a nearby room and ran into it slamming the door. She knew one thing, the glass was strong considering the staircase she had came up didn't show one sign of it breaking while she ran up it. She heard loud sniffing and snarls coming from the first floor, she looked down to see a carpet layered across the glass floor which made her extremely relieved because whatever was after her could be underneath her for all she knew. Tanner winced when she heard the sound of snarls getting closer...whatever was after her was now on the second floor with her. She saw a window in the room and right out the window was the roof which belonged to another glass house.
"Oh my god!" Tanner screamed when she turned around to look at the door.
She didn't know what she was looking at, it was 6 feet tall, had two razor sharp claws on both feet and had a long snout filled with razor sharp teeth, its skin was brown with some tiger like stripes running along its back. It gave a menacing growl at Tanner and began ramming against the glass, it was a Velociraptor. It stood up straight and raised its snout suddenly making a chilling honking noise, it once again looked down and snorted, warm air smacking against the door.
Tanner ran towards the window while still staring at the creature every single step of the way. The Raptor just silently stared at her, like it was waiting for something. She struggled to push the window opened and couldn't help but smile when she succeeded. Tanner stuck her leg out the window and then her other trying to position herself to jump, she heard another slam and then glass breaking, she quickly jumped onto the roof of the building below. Hitting the glass hard, she rolled across the roof wincing from the pain.
"Shit!...Shit!", she screamed standing up and running across the roof, if she could jump onto the roof of the house then so could that creature.
She ran until she reached the second building and whimpered as she jumped onto the next roof, roof after roof she jumped onto them. Not knowing, the Velociraptor was only one house away from her, then it stopped and looked back, arriving beside it was another Raptor that looked slightly more determined to get its prey then the other.
"Oh god please!", she yelped when she arrived to the last house, below was the fence and more jungle beyond, if she could only jump past the fence and get to the trees then maybe she would have hope aferall.
Looking back, she couldn't even scream at the sight, there was not only one raptor, not two but four raptors that were both in pursuit of her. She turned back around to face the buildings and jumped off the edge slamming onto the ground below barely missing the fence. She lyed silently on the floor, she whimpered and began to cry as she stood up, she looked upward to the roof and gasped when she didn't see the creatures anywhere.
"God!", she whispered in pain as she limped quickly to the forest ahead.
She pulled herself up one of the low branches until she reached the large center of the tall tree. Just as she sprawled onto it, the four raptors appeared below trying to jump at her but soon after gave up when they realized she was too high up. Tanner exhaled some breath and then sprawled onto her back losing consiousness.

The Glass House Part Two
Chapter. Nine 1/2
Authors Note: I was originally gonna make this a part of Ch. 8 but I decided to keep this in its own chapter but techniquelly its part of Ch. 8 thus the 8 1/2. It's a short little Chapter.
A boy, about fourteen ran across a open silihoute where up ahead was a wired fence and a community of glass houses, where Tanner had recently been. Arby Benton sprinted quickly towards the fence climbing underneath it making sure that if he got cut from the wired prickets that he would have a limited amount of scars after the wounds healed. Arby was African American, he was about 5'6" and had black and short curly hair. He was dressed in a pair of very old, tore-up sneakers and a athletics outfit.
Arby screamed when he heard snarling from behind, he turned around to look while he still ran and saw the Velociraptor pushing threw the bottom of the fence trying to get over to the other side. He looked forward and sprinted forward passing by the first couple of glass houses until he reached the other side where another fence was but was petrified when he saw another Velociraptor behind the house he was nearby. Running back around the house he saw in the distance that the raptor that had originally been persueing him was now running towards him. Arby whimpered and climbed threw a nearby window flapping down onto the floor, he quickly stood up and ran up some stairs until he reached the second floor running into the rooms. He didn't even hesitate and jumped out a window landing on the nearby house.
"Over here!", a womans voice called out from the distance. "Hey you! Over here, jump!".
Arby looked forward and saw a woman, she looked familier...it was Tanner, that mean woman. He was about to walk forward when suddenly the glass began snapping from underneath, lookind down he screamed and jumped to his side when he saw a Raptor digging its snout into the ceiling which was very close to the floor of the room below.
"C'mon!", Tanner yelled.
Arby jumped forward and flew off the edge of the house and as he did the Raptor broke threw the glass landing on the roof, the raptor stood in a pouncing position and hopped off the cieling and onto the ground, Arby was already on the other side of the fence running towards the trees and the raptor that had been near the fence was staring at the other Raptor menacingly.
"Hurry", Tanner yelled reaching down grabbing Arby's arm pulling him up.

Survivors Reunited/Ariana's little secret
Chapter. Ten
Lex and Tim stared continuesly around them as the jeep sped forward rattling up and down as it drove down rocky terrain. Evan was gripping onto the sides of his seat. The driver next to him continued to silently stare ahead like he had earlier steering the car as if there was nothing to it.
"Where are we going?", Lex yelled over the fierce wind that was hitting everyones face as well as trying to wipe her swaying hair from off her face.
Evan struggled to turn around and looked over at Lex and Tim. "Were going to Dr. Grant and the others...we should be arriving...".
Evan was cut off by the man who looked over at him. "I see them".
Tim, Lex and Evan quickly looked forward as the jeep sped into a small, maze type field where there were tons of trees in every direction. Lex saw them, Alan, Ellie and some other people were looking at them as they sped up quickly skidding to a sudden halt as they arrived near the surprised people.
Lex and Tim quickly forced open the jeep doors quickly walking over to Alan and Ellie, both hugging them with glee. Lex pulled away from Alan and wen't to hug Ellie. "Oh my gosh, you guys both look great!".
"You look great too", Ellie said quickly embracing her back, she looked over at Tim who was standing silently and walked over to hug him. "You guys are all grown up, look at you!".
Tim smiled as he hugged Ellie and slowly parted. "Yeah, you guys look great".
Evan quickly walked over to Alan also calling Ellie, Tim and Lex, Nick and the others already surrounding him looking at what looked like a large map of some sort. "Okay everyone...this is a map of Costa Rica's jungles, were right here...".
Evan put his finger onto a small picture of what looked like a small circle and in the middle of it were two trees and the words 'Maze Forest'. "Now, we figure that the dinosaurs are spread out everywhere and they might possibly even be around here where were standing so its best to drive in this jeep as fast as we can".
Everyone counted each other and looked at the small jeep, Lex smirked. "Yeah...Evan, I don't think that were all going to fit in that jeep".
Kat rolled her eyes and sighed with impatience. "We can make room...lets just get going".
Evan nodded. "Right, we still have to meet up with some of the other members of our team. If all goes well, we should be seeing them in around four hours judging by the fact that there pretty far".
Alan and the others just silently nodded and began following Evan who had already been walking while he spoke his little speech.

Alyson was alone, afraid and panicked as could be, her hair was brown with dirt and her face was covered with dry mud and blood was on her eyebrow where a sharp and pointy branch had tore off some of her skin while she had been running.
"Somebody!", Alyson screamed gasping for air obviously in shock. "...Anybody!".
She turned around and screamed when she saw two figures running towards her but cried with relief when she realized that the two figures were just her friends, Jerry and Chris running towards her.
"Thank god!", Alyson cried out as they all hugged in fear. "What happened to Ariana and Tom?!...Please don't tell me that thing got them!".
Chris shook his head. "No, we just split up by accident while walking down a path".
Alyson covered her face in frusteration. "C'mon, we need to find someone!".
Chris and Jerry quickly nodded and they all began running in fast pace pushing threw the dense jungle, the sunlight was emmited by the top of the trees.

Ariana and the boy, Tom, who had ran with her, Alyson, Chris and Jerry earlier when the creature had first attacked, were both silently walking down a curvy slope, both trying to keep a steady balance.
"I hope our parents find out about this!...I mean Tanner and the others should be worried by now", Tom said in a crazed manner.
Tom had dark blonde hair and was dressed in swimming trunks and a tee shirt with palm trees on the front, he was fifteen years old.
"Maybe your parents will...", Ariana said quickly ducking when a branch nearly slapped against her face.
"Well, of course your parents will too. I mean, god, Ariana...we need to get out of here!".
"Tom! Just calm down, your getting a little crazy on me and thats the last damn thing we need...keep it down!", Ariana said muttering curse words under her breath.
"I wonder what those two creatures were!?", Tom said kicking dry dirt in front of him.
Ariana looked over at Tom. "I think I know...have you heard of Jurassic Park?".
Tom thought to himself for a second until finally coming to realization. "Yeah, isn't that the one where they 'cloned' dinosaurs...such a fake!".
"No it isn't!", Ariana snapped back.
"Yeah it is, do you have any proof?", the boy said rolling his eyes obviously thinking he was correct.
Ariana just smirked and gave him a simple dirty look. "Hello! The San-Diego incident".
"The what!?", Tom said obviously clueless on the whole subject.
"Okay! I don't know how you don't know about this but let me explain. One of 'Jurassic Parks' dinosaurs got off one of five islands suppossedly called 'Las Cinco Muertes' which means 'The Five Deaths' and ran free in San-Diego, a lot of destruction happened".
Tom laughed. "Yeah, your making it all up. I mean, how would I not hear about that?!...Your lieing!".
"No I'm not!", Ariana said in a defensive tone.
"Yes...you...are!", Tom said.
Ariana stopped and looked like she was about to attack him. "No i'm not!...I'm not going to deal with this sh*t from you okay!".
Tom was taken aback by her tone of voice and decided to continue the argue. "Your, your lieing!".
"My parents were killed in the damn rampage!", Ariana screamed out as she began walking off.
Tom's jaw was now slouched down in shock. "I'm sorry...".
"Just fucking forget it!", Ariana screamed storming off threw the woods leaving the path.
"Hey! Your not supposed to leave the path!", Tom said chasing after her.
